My Generac home generator got on fire, I called their customer service to send a technician to see the reason for fire on Dec 2nd, 2022, -I purchased my house 4 years ago with the Generator being a part of the deal- but after 2 weeks of waiting for their respond, they said because I didn't purchased it myself and don't have warranty on it, they are not going to investigate, I only asked them to come and see what the reason is that their device get burn down to charcoal and it was not on! I have respect to this company and didn't expect to hear that back from them. I told them I will pay for the technician though!
My insurance company would have pay for whole replacement except the deductible, I don't understand what's wrong with them.
My Genrac serial # is 6036757 and the case# I have opened for this is 8557948.
