This company sold me a rebuilt motor that failed in less than 6 thousnd miles. I'm a retired ASE Master Auto Technician. I tore the motor down and was horrified by the lack of workmanship. It is garbage. The conpany representative told me I destroyed the motor and woill not refund my money. Upon too late investigation on VW community web sites I discovered this company has a reputation for terrible workmanship. In one horror story the victim stated that he installed three rebuilt motors from this company and finally gave up. I want my money back not more garbage.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Who are you? The same exact thing has just happened to me. seized after 25 miles. Tore it down. All junk components. Rotted case, bored 40 over, improperly installed rear main bearing, beat up, dented oil cooler. Etc.
I purchased a 1600cc VW engine and came with a faulty flywheel, had oil leaks and started to knock on the #3 cylinder. Drained oil prior to shipping engine back to them for evaluation and oil had metal filings.
I wanted reimbursement for this purchase and was told all sales are final. They can sell a faulty product and still make a profit.
