I was approached to get help in renting my timeshare units for a fee from Global Resort Options. They indicated there were companies looking to rent units for their upcoming conventions in Florida They would pay up to $1800 per week. I had to pay them a fee to be a member in their program. Below is the payment I made. This was way back in July 2022. I have made several follow-up emails and calls and to this day have not heard from this company that took my money and ran.

Global Resort Options

I was contacted by Global Resort Options in Oct 2021, to rent out my timeshare to companies looking to house their executives for convention events. Lots of promises to get me $2100 per week's rental of my timeshare. Of course, I had to pay a fee for their services and they included all kinds of extra services with this "one time fee". I paid the fee and signed up on 10/19/21. During 2022, I called them several times to see what they needed to rent my timeshare. After months went by, I got a call from the "Manager" saying that I had to pre book the week and place it in their rental pool. So, I had to pay upfront any booking fees for the week and there was no guarantee that they would rent it. What? Long story short, I ended up booking 2 units for the same week in June 2023. I placed it in the pool, (long process) and they rented them out 2 days before the booked time. I had to Pay for guest certificates and they would pay me once they received payment from the renter. I was paid for 1 week (big discount only $500) and I have been waiting for payment of the 2nd week. They don't respond to emails or phone call messages. What can I do?
