After spending SGD$4000 for private language lessons Globibo failed to provide me with the materials appropriate to my level despite assurance that I would be provided with these books. The company also dodged calls and emails from my tutor as she attempted to procure the materials for me. When the books finally did arrive (as my lessons ended) the content had been directly copied and pasted from the beginner level books.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

I was engaged by them to deliver my service in interpretation at ad hoc basis or sometimes as a freelance Mandarin teacher, yet I have not get paid. I have had very bad experience chasing for the pay I am entitled to, nobody attends to me. They do not pay me after the job was finished 3 months ago. That makes us, the service providers unhappy working for them and it causes their customers being unable to receive a continuous service from us, since we are not paid.

Hi Diana, Madelyn's message has been sent in 2014. I personally called her immediately after and the issue was sorted. I went to our system and could not see any of your invoice uploaded therefore there is no trace of pending payment from our Finance team. Why don't you call our office or even go to our nearest office to sort out what the issue is. A few of our linguists had difficulty in the past 6 to 12 months with our online platform for uploading invoices but the system works well and is aimed at improving our overall payment process. In any case our project management team is there to support if you have difficulty uploading your invoice. I will send you an email to see if I can help further in case this issue was not yet sorted out. I am yet another service provider who has been working for Globibo on a freelance basis, and I have been sending multiple follow up emails to get long overdue payments (it has been almost 5 months from the date of invoice submission). All the invoices are uploaded in the system, the project manager is informed about this on multiple occasions, and I have also sent multiple emails copying you personally (along with 5 Globibo employees). I am sincerely hoping that my emails were just overlooked, and not ignored on purpose. I hope this will be resolved the soonest.

I am so sorry you had to deal with this. I am currently having a very similar problem with Globibo.
I worked for them on a couple of projects, which I have not get paid for yet (it has been almost 5 months now). Did you eventually manage to get the payment? Please share your experience - this could help me at deciding what my next steps about this should be.

Dear Elena, I hope you are well. I happened to see the above post by chance and realize I had not responded to you. I went straight to our system to see the status of all your 55 invoices and see that all have been paid in full. I see your last 2 invoices were settled in full in July and in November 2019. I see that your first invoices with us were paid very fast, sometimes within 1 week, but that your later invoices took more time to be settled. Based on our agreement invoices shall be settled within 60 days but I see it took longer to settle your last 3 invoices and I apologize for this.
