I've worn Gloria Vanderbilt "Amanda" jeans exclusively for 4-5 years. I own every color available and love the fit. My size is 18 Average. My complaint is that recently on several pair there will be a puckered spot where it appears the spandex is losing it's shape. These spots are random and not caused by wear and tear or by being pressure points. I'm disappointed because these spots are obvious on some of the jeans because of where they may be, spots on the leg, etc. that clearly shows while wearing. What could be causing this and why is this happening? I purchase most of my jeans at Costco as they have a fabulous price. I'm hoping to get a response to this complaint.

I do find this problem disappointing because these jeans are the mainstay of my wardrobe.i have puckering in very obvious places that you can't conceal. I had not even though of returning them but that may be the solution. I made my purchases mainly at Costco so I don't see a problem with that, I would just like to see them returned to the manufacturer so the problem would be addressed.
Same pants, same issue! Puckered in front, near the base of the zipper. I've had them for a couple of years so I'm not sure they'll take them back. Two pairs, size 12 long, in great condition otherwise - disappointing!
I have five pairs of the colored Amanda pants and everyone of them have developed those puckers and can't be worn in public except with long tops. Some of the pants are quite new. I wear petites so it isn't a good look for someone who is vertically challenged. Anyone know of pants that fit as well as the Amandas?I haven't had that problem with the blue jeans. I need summer pants, capris and full length, badly!
Same pants, same issue. I thoght is wash the washer, so I bought may try bags. Now I know that the fabric must be defective.
I recently bought several pairs of other brands.
I have at least 8 pairs of Amanda's that I'm tossing. I'm so disappointed, to say the least. I love the choice of colors, but, I can't afford to keep replacing them.
I have the exact same problem, and the puckers are so bad, I only wear them when working in the yard as it’s too embarrassing to wear them in public. I got mine at Costco also. Are they selling rejects at Costco?
Same pants( eight pairs.)...once in every color I could find. EVERY pair is affected. Has anyone complained to the company?
I'm too frugal to toss them. I just wear them at home.
Yep, puckering is definitely a problem and can’t wear in public as it’s way too obvious! They seriously need to look into this as I love the capris but won’t buy again! Sad😢
Does GV have the jeans called Bridget slim leg?
Have run into a major problem recently with the Amanda jeans. The fabric just fades out in large patches especially in front. The color is dark blue and after one or two washes this happens. The fabric must be defective. Very disappointed with these Gloria Vanderbilt jeans as I have always loved this brand. Don’t waste your hard earned money on this inferior product.
I have just recognized the same problem with two pairs of my GV Amanda jeans. I love these pants they fit perfectly. Too bad this happens. I gues if we don’t want to toss them we’ll have to buy longer shirts.
I, too, love the fit of the Amanda. Have purchased many pairs and they all pucker. Will not buy again and am VERY disappointed in GV. You would think they would be aware of this and correct whatever problem they have in factory. I was beginning to think it was me….until I found these comments. Thank you all.
