I recently went into the Auburn Good Guys store, and purchased a fridge, spent more than $2,000 including warranty and delivery costs on Sunday the 9th of June, arranged delivery for the next day, paying the premium delivery fee, which was meant to be delivered to my door and take the old fridge away, however this did not happen, the delivery guys refused to bring my fridge up the stairs, and took off with my new fridge without consulting me, which required me to return to the Auburn store and complain, which is exactly what I did, still the situation wasn’t resolved, even though management offered me a discount on the fridge which I never received. I’m still not happy, and again we rescheduled delivery for Sunday the 16th of June, and after receiving confirmation, and an SMS saying that the fridge would be delivered on Sunday as arranged, so we waited and waited and waited, canceled a family lunch, and still the fridge did not arrive, so back to the Auburn store again, wasting petrol, and my time and complaining about my fridge, can’t offer any explanation because there isn’t one. I’m so annoyed at the Good Guys, can’t even deliver a fridge to my address, so I refunded it, absolutely appalling, and I’m still waiting for the refund, completely not happy with the conduct from the Auburn Good Guys store.
I want something done about this, it’s not good customer service at all 😡
Claimed loss: No fridge for more than 8 days, wasted petrol back and forth, and everything from the fridge and freezer
Desired outcome: I want some compensation, it was me that was getting stuffed around without any justifiable explanation,
