Governor of Poker 3 review: Customer service is completely useless

I have been playing GOP3 on and off for quite awhile. In addition to poker, I play a lot of blackjack as it’s the fastest way to acquire team points and reach the opal or black chest. I am consistently on the top of the leaderboard for personal challenge points.

When GOP3 added the two additional blackjack tables, I was able to twice win up to 180 billion chips. Of course I lost it all playing but, I knew the risk. As you can imagine, I started getting even more team challenge points than before.

About a month ago when I went to login, I got a pop up saying that I was banned. I contacted support who continuously closed my ticket saying it was a duplicate (it wasn’t.) After 3 or 4 times of trying to obtain a reason from support for why I was banned, I finally received a response stating that I had used in game automation software. This is 100% untrue. I wouldn’t even know what in game automation software was if it hit me in the face.

I attempted 6 times to ask support for additional information and substantiation to this false claim and every single time, I received the same generic response I had gotten to begin with. I have attempted several more times to reach out to support and they have been completely useless.

I spoke with a few longtime players who said that they heard of others being banned erroneously (all of whom were big blackjack players like myself.) One of the players is an elite status and speaks to folks at GOP3 regularly via Facebook. He said that he was told that the game was having an influx of Chinese players using a software to auto play blackjack. These players did this on many accounts simultaneously in order to reach opal chest and get the chips. Then in turn they sell the chips. GOP3 could not determine who was using the softwares and who wasn’t so anyone who had extremely high team points due to playing blackjack was banned, even players who had never used any type of software (like myself.)

I have spent a good deal of money on in app purchases in the game, and have been a loyal player. However, the fact that GOP3 thinks it is okay to ban someone without providing any proof of why, is absolutely ridiculous. GOP3 can go into their data and watch every single blackjack game I have ever played and they’d see its a real person because I chat and play poker simultaneously most of the time. Instead, they will continue to be useless from a support perspective and players who should not be banned will be.

Therefore, you should stay far away from this game. The company has shady business practices and does not believe in customer support in the least. They have no problem taking players’ money for extremely expensive and overpriced in app purchases, but when it comes time for them to service their customers, they think it’s perfectly acceptable to ignore
