I would firstly like to show my utter shock and dismay at the treatment I received at Grand Central Motors in Midrand; when I arrived to deliver my four month old C-Class Mercedes Benz. This was after I had gotten a breakdown in Zambia; where I could not get assistance because road assist and maintenance is not covered there.
I very gladly got the car moved at my expense from Ndola, Zambia where flat beds do not exist; this was done with the assistance of a truck and a hydraulic ramp. On arrival of the vehicle at Grand Central Motors I was shouted at by; Eric Calvery who gestured with his arms up in the air, “I can’t get that car off that truck, just take it back to where it comes from. “I tried to make him aware of the situation and he just continued ranting and raving shouting across offices and in reception areas and showing off in front of customers and telling me there is nothing he can do and I must just go away. I asked him to go into an office to talk but he continued with his disgusting behaviour with total disregard for my request and disrespecting me in full view of both customers and staff. The whole experience has left such a bitter taste especially after owning three generations of C Class Mercedes Benz cars.
As a result of the car breaking down, I had to incur heavy cost of flying my whole family of five back to South Africa as well as paying for the towing of the vehicle back and just when I thought the worst was over the emotional torture from Eric was rather disappointing coming from a person who should be protecting the brand Mercedes Benz.
I know after this experience that this car is going on sale because I have owned cars from other car manufactures and I have never experienced anything even remotely close to what I experienced this afternoon. I have owned an Audi and a BMW and none of these dealers have ever treated me the way I was treated by this rude young man.
I would however like to commend Johan at Grand Central Motors who stepped in and subsequently rescued the situation; he was very professional and very helpful and he really displayed the behaviour of a professional. He took over the situation and made sure that the car was able to be removed from the closed truck with the assistance of a flatbed truck.
As for the behaviour Eric displayed it really left a lot to be desired. It actually left me wondering if Mercedes Benz trains their staff on how to treat customers. I would imagine that we all appreciate that once a customer makes the decision to buy a premium brand such as Mercedes Benz he or she should be at least be awarded a certain level of respect first as a customer with numerous options and secondly as a person who requires their dignity respected in front of people.

I have to say wholeheartedly I believe that dodogodssolution@yahoo.com.is a very gifted individual and gentility his second nature. I have received the most rewarding and spiritual experience whilst conversing with him on the telephone. I heard and saw an angel in my minds-eye it was so overwhelming. I knew at that moment finally my difficulties were over. He deserves recognition for his powers and talents as a beautiful individual who brings spirit close to those in need. I have been touched deeply; nothing has come as close to me before. I am in total awere and have a great deal of respect.
