Different versions of the problem I am describing here have occurred to me on my last 3-4 trips. I cited the travel error issue on my GCT post trip critique each time, but no one ever followed up. This time I will complete this trip but never travel with GCT again because their important air Travel office is arrogant, insensitive and chronically error prone putting my trip pleasure at risk... This time I booked a trip to Portugal. I had no doubt from what was said and from price given (which I paid in full to get a discount) that I was flying Premium Economy. After months I get a GCT email encouraging me to upgrade to PE. I check the online GCT planner to find it shows a full itinerary including assigning me on one leg to seats that don't exist anywhere & on the other leg to a PE seat shown on seatguru.com to be a horrible seat. When I call, the GCT rep indicates he doesn't know who posted the itinerary shown but it is for economy travel. He corrects it but says I now have to pay over $3K more and says in their system it says I asked for PE but they did not charge me for it because it was a year away and they did not know if PE would be available... how arrogant and stupid is that... I have to pay the $3K to get the PE. He sends a new itinerary. I check the seats to find he has me in economy on one leg. I had to call back again for a correct. I will travel with another company in the future. Too bad. I had some great trips on GCT/OAT.
Desired outcome: Fix my itinerary and comp me the $3K you misrepresented to me when I originally booked and paid in full.
