Very interesting - I just looked over the weekend - had similar charges. I called them and they were closed over the weekend. So not only did they charge this month - they have been charging my credit card since January. I don't know how I missed it. So I called my credit card company and it's not being charged as revolving which mean monthly someone is entering my information from TLG*GREATFUN. I called them this morning, pushed zero and demanded to speak to a manager. After getting a speal from the woman on the phone about what great offers they can provide to me - BLA BLA - THIS IS A SCAM! Management credited my Visa for the last four months and said I would have to contact Corporate to reverse the other charges. Call them now... Great Fun - [protected] - and their Corporate Fax number is [protected].

I have just noticed a number of credit card charges from some company called Great Fun. Never heard of them nor did I ever sign up with this company-I don't even know what they do. They have made several monthly charges on my credit card that I did not authorize and I have tried to contact them several times with no response. I guess I won't get that monthlycharge of $11.99 put back on my credit card fromt he last 4-5 months.

I checked my credit card today and got charged by these people also for the last 8 months. I called them to cancelled but they said they can only refund my money back for 2 months. I have to fax in my claim for the rest. I hope I can get my money back. I just filed a dispute with my credit card company.

These people are stealing our money under our nose and they are very tricky...

How did you get your money refunded? When I called I wasn't strong enough so they just said they would get rid of "future charges." They said that I got it from Priceline.

sirduke2009...
You cannot be nice to these people. Remember they have ripped you off and they are a fraud. I would call your bank and have the dispute department handle it for you. Make sure they know what company you are dealing with. I bet you are not the first one they have had to do this for. Surprisingly, when I went to my bank with the issue, the Assistant Branch Manger said that I was the third person that week that had the problem. Your bank has people trained to get your money back from fradulant companies. Let them do your dirty work.
If that doesn't work...Threaten TLG with a lawyer. They have a tendancy to back down when they know they are a fraud and they will get in a lot of trouble.
I wish you good luck!

I just called the automated number for my bank today and $149.99 was listed as being withdrawn yesterday. When I called my bank to find out what the charge was for and they told me it was TGL Great Fun, I was puzzled. I know without a doubt I did not sign up legitimately for anything through them. When I got to my computer and googled "great fun" and saw this webpage with 22 pages of complaints, I knew I had been swindled! I called my bank and started the ball rolling on the discrepitancy filing. She closed my credit card, marked it as "stolen" and is beginning the process for me. I am still planning on calling them today. I don't care if I did "sign up" for something...it was done deceitfully! We are behind on our mortgage, we owe the electric company $250 this month...there is NO WAY I would sign up for some stupid coupon/discount thing for $149.99 unless they hid it away in something else I ordered. I'm just glad I caught it right away. It is a SCAM and "what im telling you here is 100% true" youpeoplearesostupid Just because I call them and they give me some "authorization date" does not mean it's legitimate. I'm sitting in a law school RIGHT NOW. What they are doing is absolutely against the law, and the only reason they have not been put out of business is from lack of reporting on our part. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and the FBI internet fraud group. Anyone and everyone who has been scammed by them...don't just get your refund and let that be it! Report them!

me too. every time after I shopped at priceline, my ATM cards were charged by Great Fun every month. When I bought a ticket at priceline second time, i was very careful to not sign up any rewards program. BUT, it was still happened... I am very very upset on this. Is it legal? even it's legal, it's not ethic. No JUSTICE or regulation to protect consumers? Why government can allow this behavior be legal?

When I called the company they told me that priceline.com is the one who gave them the ok and that I agreed to it through that website over two months ago... needless to say I have no knowledge of this and am beginning to think that all of these travel websites are a bunch of crooks! The comapny told me that they will creidt me so I will wait and see but all of this makes me very uncomfortable!

I had a charge on my card from great fun and when I called them they said I authorized it. When I told them to cancel it they said they would send me all these great coupons if I stayed signed up...so I did and got nothing, and they charged me again 2 weeks from the first charge.

I met the same problem when i check my bank statement today. I remember I booked air ticket last month via priceline.com, and that may be the reason I got scamed.
Thanks all you guys telling me how to do.
I will call the company to cancel the membership and get my money back; tell my bank to block this ###ing GreatFun; and report this to BBB or FBI http://www.fbi.gov/majcases/fraud/fraudschemes.htm

I also got a charge from my checking account. You have to call your bank or your credit card company and they will probably have to reissue you a new card. Also, try calling the company itself. I think these kinds of companies obtain the info from other online sites that we might have gone on and disclosed information ya know.

I also noticed this on my account. Called the bank they told me to call [protected]. I was told that I did a name your own price on priceline.com and that when i entered my account to pay for the room that they were the ones that gave me the deal on it. Told me my money would be on my account in 7 days for all 4 months.

This is so ridiculous! I just found a charge of $69.99 on a credit card that I have not used in about 4 months! I am furious! I called my credit card company to dispute it because I had no idea what the hell 'TLG Great Fun' was. I then called the number for Great Fun that was on my credit card statement and DEMANDED they cancel this memembership and refund my money instantly! Without any hassle the guy explained how I got signed-up (completely bogus) and then agreed to cancel my membership. NOW, let's wait to see if I actaully get my $69.99 back! VERY IRRITATING!

I'm just going to add my voice here as yet another personal who has been scammed by this company.

I just called my credit card company's fraud department regarding the matter and they said they see this company's name come up an awful lot. The lady was nice and advised me to "not purchase anything online" which is kinda crazy this day and age as well as probably exactly what her employer would like to have her NOT say. I requested that the credit card company notify its customers to look out for TLG charges and she said that was not likely. If there is a lawsuit against TLG, I would sure like to join it.

I was charged on my credit card from a company called Great Fun in Connecticut. I stopped the charges and called there company. My information was given to them from Priceline after I had purchased some airline tickets. I did not authorize this charge. It is a total scam. I am encouraging everyone, everywhere to boycott Priceline. We, the people, can make a difference. Tell everyone you know to stop using Priceline.

I called 'Great Fun' and found out when I bought my plane ticket on 'Cheap Tickets.com' that this was when I enrolled for this crap. After being hung up on, transfered, and told there was nothing they could do, I finally spoke to "Bobby" who was very helpful and explained everything to me. I have been charged $11.99 for four months. I got a credit for three months. The crazy thing is I was told when I enrolled (which I didn't) I would have gotten a month for "free" which I did not. They charged me EVERY month. I thought this was an XM Radio charge. I also spoke to my bank; where I used to work, and told them I needed information about these charges. They looked it up in the system and said that each month was charged on different days, that it is "not a reaccuring charge" which means someone is MANUALLY ENTERING IN MY INFORMATION AND CHARGING IT. I have been told to FAX my information to:
Attn: Executive Support
Member # (enter your number here; it's what shows up on your statement)
Cancelation Code (You'll get this from the person who helps you on the phone)
and then fax this information to [protected]

I think if you some how elect to sign up for something online and don't realize that you have done this, that the company should email you telling you that you will be charged a monthly fee for signing up for whatever the company is. This would help everyone stop paying each month for stuff they don't know what it is, it'll also help with overdrafts on the account; which have happened to me once. They will refund your money.

We were charged 149.99 for a supposed membership to "Great Fun" What the hell is that?
My husband accused me of using his card and he wants to cancel the Visa card which you
need this day and age of the internet. So I was very worried. What a SCAM! We the consumer
have to have recourse over these scams.

I have been being charged $11.99 every month for over a year now for GREAT FUN! ...yeah i'm sure they are having great fun stealing my money from me every month! I have called and emailed MANY MANY times and they will not cancel it. They say that there was a check box to join when I ordered something online. Does anyone know what we can do to resolve this?

I was also surprised to find a charge of 11.99 from GRT-FUN. Luckily I discovered it after only one month of deductions from my bank account. I was told over the phone by the person I spoke to at the number I called [protected]) that I had agreed to become a member when I purchased something through Priceline. I had purchased something online, but the site didn't specify that it was run by Priceline. And I don't recall ever signing up to be billed for a monthly service. I didn't know what the service was. My understanding is that my membership has now been cancelled, but I'll be checking my statements to make sure.

I have been charged by GREAT FUN 11.99 monthly for 7 months (April-October). I just called them to cancel the service. I did not require the reimbursement because I did enroll in their service in this April when I bought a air ticket and I even got a membership card. But they never told me that the membership was not free.

I was checking my bank acct this morning and noticed a charge from TLG GREAT FUN for 11.99. Well I googled them immediately and came across this post. I immediately contacted them, yes they are open on the weekend. I demanded to know why i was charged and for what. It seems that I purchased plane tickets through Orbitz in August and somehow I was automatically signed up for some discount program. I'm very meticlous when purchasing online and I dont ever go for the special offers but somehow they got me. The person I spoke to said it was because I purchased something through priceline. Whats strange is that I never ordered tickets through priceline, just Orbitz. I don;t understand how this company is somehow fooling people into signing up for something they never agreed to. I was told that my money would be refunded but i'm not gonna hold my breath. I just will have to contact my bank and alert them that this company is a fraud. Hopefully someone is going after these sleazebags.

I'm having the same experience. Never got the stuff they promised but the charges materialized on a charge card. What can be done about this? When I called on the week-end, they are, of course, not available. But I
see that they don't follow through with cancelling even on normal business hours. I can see that a good attorney
would sure have a lot of willing clients. I'd like to sign on as one of them. Linda
