I started with GL 6 months ago because what they were saying sounded good.

In six month they said I’d qualify for a lump sum loan to pay everything off. Yes, I was offered the loan but it was $350 a month more than what I was paying GL and with a 24.99 interest rate. So I called to cancel my account. So I called to close my account. Keep In mind, that I had already paid them $1500 with in the last 6 months. In order to close my account, I was told that I’d have to pay another $1200!. So now I’m stuck until I pay the $1200, even after paying $1500. I should have down my research before I went with them so that’s a costly mistake on my part. I’d give them a negative star if it was possible

I had the unfortunate experience of working with Guardian Litigation Group, and I must say it has been nothing short of a nightmare. If I could give them zero stars, I would.

First of all, they promised to settle my credit card debts and assured me that my credit score would improve within a year. However, the reality was far from their lofty promises. Instead of seeing any improvement in my credit score, it plummeted to rock bottom.

Guardian Litigation Group's deceptive tactics became evident when they instructed me not to make any payments to my creditors. They claimed this was part of their strategy to negotiate settlements, but all it did was accrue interest, late fees, and damage my credit even further. It's clear that their approach is designed to prolong the process so they can continue to milk their clients for more money.

Speaking of money, I shelled out a hefty $2,800 to this company, and not a single cent of it went towards paying off my creditors. It was merely used to cover their exorbitant fees, leaving me in an even worse financial situation than when I started.

Their lack of transparency and unethical practices are disgraceful, and I strongly advise anyone considering Guardian Litigation Group to steer clear. They are more interested in lining their own pockets than genuinely helping their clients resolve their financial issues. Save your money and find a reputable and honest organization to assist you with your credit problems because Guardian Litigation Group is certainly not the solution.

Guardian Litigation Group has been awesome! They call me every month to check in and let me know what's going on. When I first signed up, the dude who helped me said if I make my first six payments on time, they'll give me a loan to pay everything off. I made those payments on 11/01/22 and now I'm just waiting to see what happens next.

Guardian Litigation Group is great! They told me how much I had to pay and kept me in the loop about my account. Some folks are shocked by the fees, but I knew what I was getting into. This is for people who don't want to go bankrupt. Can you get the same deals from other companies? Probably not, but who knows. For me, it's one less thing to worry about. Thanks to everyone!

I agree with sum of these peeps, I think they're a scam. Took them 6 months to settle one account and the other 5 accounts ringin' my phone off the hook. I finally closed debt pay and told Guardian I'm done. I payed off the one account and all the rest of them by myself, after talkin' to my own creditors. I closed this account from GLG almost 4 months ago and there still callin' me, tellin' me I owe them *** dollars 'cause they got 1 account down to half what I owed. I don't recommend this group to anyone. DO IT YOURSELF CREDITORS LISTEN.

This place is a scam. Their (GLG) fees are higher than other debt relief programs. Make sure you pick the lowest monthly payments. This company were giving me a hard time when I needed to cancel and close out my account. Good thing I did not pay them any money in the 1st place.

I started working with Guardian Litigation Group a year and a half ago. First they promised reduced settlement offers amounts by 60%. Four of the 6 accounts received less than a 10% reduction. When I complained the performance fees we reduced from %28 to 22%. Which still doesn't make up for the lousy settlement offers. Then I was able to get money to pay off my last three accounts, so I transferred $9k and waited to get processed. I called twice a week to check on the status and got a different answer every time. After two weeks I was told nothing was done because they needed a voice recording from me approving the pay off. So, I did and to my surprise a couple of days later, the monthly automatic withdraw for nearly $800 went through again. I called and was told that that was because the $9k was not cleared yet. I called later to see if they could please transfer the money back and I was told that I actually still need to pay performance fees. Three weeks later I called back because the debtors were still not paid off while I had over $9k sitting in the settlement account.I was told that the recording that was done for the settlement was not correct and needed to be redone. Now, we are a month later, and this time I was tole the settlement amount on there system was $500 more they the officially agreed settlement amount. That was because they go by old estimated payoff amounts and apparently not official settlement amounts. Seriously, what is wrong with these people. So, I explain that there numbers are incorrect and proved it to them. This time I was told that I needed to bring in an additional $1000 to pay the performance fees before they can pay the official settlement. Wow, that is called blackmail. So, there is over $9k in the account and they refuse to pay off the already settled accounts unless they receive an additional $1000 while I have all settlement fees covered in the account PLUS an additional $1000 that I OVERPAID. Now my credit is still taking a nosedive while I overpaid them by $1000 and they are black mailing me to get another additional $1000 in performance fees while they performance sucks [censored].

Meanwhile NOTHING was paid off per my request and my money in the settlement account is being kept hostage unless I pay them an additional $1000. How is this LEGAL?

To begin with, Guardian Litigation Group charged me a whopping $350 per month, promising that it would take approximately a year to see any improvement in my credit score. However, after faithfully following their advice not to pay my creditors for a staggering 10 months, my credit score plummeted to a dismal 500. Yes, you read that right - 500! It's shocking that a company claiming to specialize in credit repair could lead to such disastrous results.

What's more infuriating is that during this entire period, Guardian Litigation Group failed to make a single payment towards my creditors. Not only did they mismanage my finances, but they also left me in a worse financial position than when I started with them. It's clear that their promises were nothing more than empty words, and their actions were far from what one would expect from a reputable credit repair firm.

They never disclosed the true timeline for improving my credit score, and it turns out it would take a whopping two years of paying them $350 a month to see any progress. This kind of deception is unacceptable, and it's clear that they are more interested in milking their clients for monthly fees than actually delivering on their promises.

In conclusion, I strongly advise anyone considering Guardian Litigation Group for credit repair services to think twice. Save yourself the time, money, and stress by avoiding this firm at all costs. They not only fail to deliver on their promises but also have the potential to irreversibly damage your credit score. Don't fall victim to their deceptive practices; there are surely more reputable and honest credit repair options available elsewhere.

I hired Guardian Litigation Group to help me with 4 credit accounts. I signed a paper so my creditors could talk to them and was told not to contact them myself. They charged me to settle two of my accounts and I paid fees for each one. I tried to update my credit report to show that my accounts were paid in full, but the credit bureaus couldn't update them because the accounts weren't paid in full. I called one of the accounts that Guardian Litigation Group said was settled and paid in full, but the settlement department said it wasn't paid in full and there was still a balance (even though a settlement fee was already taken). I called the remaining account and one was actually paid in full because a law firm had the account. But one more account was supposed to be settled and paid in full, but it wasn't and I was placed in collections. I had no idea because the company gets all correspondence regarding these accounts (and a settlement fee was taken also).
