HealthBoards: A Lifesaving Resource for Health Support and Information
I gotta say, HealthBoards (healthboards.com) is a real lifesaver for folks like me who are dealing with some serious health issues. Whether it's a family member, a partner, or even yourself who's going through a tough time, this website is a great place to find support and information.
I mean, let's face it, life can be pretty complicated sometimes, especially when it comes to health. But with HealthBoards, you can connect with people who are going through the same thing as you, and get the help and advice you need to get through it.
The message boards on this site cover a wide range of health conditions and topics, so you're sure to find something that's relevant to your situation. And the best part is, the community here is really supportive and understanding. You don't have to feel alone in your struggles anymore.
Personally, I've found HealthBoards to be a great resource for learning about my own health issues, as well as those of my loved ones. The discussions here are informative and educational, and I've picked up a lot of useful tips and advice from other members.
So if you're looking for a place to connect with others who are dealing with health challenges, I highly recommend checking out HealthBoards. It's a great way to get the support you need, and to learn more about your own health and wellness.
HealthBoards: Strict Rules, Rude Members, and Unnecessary Suspensions
I gotta say, HealthBoards ain't my cup of tea. I mean, who has the time to read through all them rules and remember every single one? I'm no spring chicken, I'm pushing 70, and I just wanted to help out some other folks going through breast cancer like I did 8 years ago. But nope, I got slapped with a suspension in no time flat. Seems like the admins are more interested in punishing folks than creating a space for us to come together, get some info, and support each other.
It really stung to be accused of breaking the rules when I didn't even know I was doing it. I mean, how do they expect us to keep up with all that legal mumbo jumbo? I don't know how HealthBoards stays relevant with all their strictness. There's other sites out there that don't treat you like a criminal for a simple mistake.
Honestly, the folks on HealthBoards can be downright rude and impertinent. They seem to exist just to find fault with others. It's like they're hiding behind a curtain, pulling strings and making themselves feel important by punishing us regular folks. I wouldn't be surprised if they could use a good shrink to take a look at 'em. Sad little people, if you ask me.
Disappointing Experience on HealthBoards: Rude Moderators and Censorship
I gotta tell ya, I had a real weird experience on HealthBoards. I was just asking a simple question about Plan B, and next thing I know my post is gone! They said it was because I mentioned abortion, but I wasn't even talking about that! I tried to explain myself to the moderator, but he just got all mad and banned me. I mean, what's up with that? It's not like I was doing anything wrong. And I've seen other posts on there about Plan B that haven't been deleted, so why me? It just doesn't make sense.
Honestly, I think the moderators over there are just plain rude. They don't seem to care about helping people or answering questions. They just want to boss everyone around and make themselves feel important. And don't even get me started on the whole "abortion" thing. I mean, come on! It's a medical procedure, right? So why can't we talk about it? It's not like we're doing anything illegal or immoral.
Overall, I was really disappointed with my experience on HealthBoards. I thought it would be a good place to get some health advice and connect with other people who are going through similar things. But instead, I just got banned for no reason and treated like a criminal. I wouldn't recommend this site to anyone, unless you like being talked down to and treated like a child.
I understand your frustration with the situation on HealthBoards. It can be perplexing when posts are removed without clear reasons or explanations. Sometimes, moderation policies can vary, and it's possible that different moderators interpret the rules differently. It's important to find platforms where you feel your questions and concerns are treated with fairness and understanding.

Negative Experience with HealthBoards: Strict Moderators and Dangerous Advice
I was a member of HealthBoards for a long time, but I had to leave at the beginning of last year. The moderators there are very strict and don't tolerate any disagreement. If you say something that goes against what they believe, they will delete your post and ban you from the forum. I've seen this happen many times, and it's very frustrating.
The worst part is that there is a lot of bad advice on HealthBoards. People who are not qualified to give medical advice are doing so anyway, and it can be dangerous. I've tried to correct some of the misinformation, but I always get a warning from the moderators. They don't want to hear anything that contradicts what they believe.
Even if you post a link to a real study, they will delete it and warn you. It's very frustrating because you want to help people, but you can't. The moderators are too strict and don't want to hear anything that goes against their beliefs.
I finally got fed up and told the administrator where he could stick his forum. Of course, I was banned immediately. I don't recommend HealthBoards to anyone. If you need medical advice, go to your doctor. Don't trust random people on the internet who may not know what they're talking about.
Overall, my experience with HealthBoards was very negative. I felt worse after being on the forum than I did before. I don't recommend it to anyone.
Healthboards: Rude Moderators and Restrictive Rules - A Warning to Medical Forum Users
I've been a member of a lot of support sites, and I even moderated one for a British medical charity. Let me tell you, I was pretty surprised by how the folks running Healthboards treat their members. They're just plain rude, and they'll ban you for anything they feel like. It seems like the rules are pretty flexible, and they can do whatever they want. They won't even let you post links to outside sites or research from Pubmed, which is just ridiculous for a health board. It's way too restrictive to be helpful to anyone.
And it's not just that they're rude to people who don't know much about their condition. They seem to have a problem with people who are well-informed and want to help others. Maybe they're just jealous? I don't know, but there's definitely something wrong with this board. If you have any kind of medical condition, I'd recommend finding a different forum. Maybe one that's specifically for your condition.
And if you do get banned, don't bother trying to contact the admin. I tried twice, and I never got a response. My advice? Just steer clear of this site. I'm pretty sure they have some kind of agenda, and I wouldn't be surprised if it involves money. Especially now that they're selling an app. I'm just glad I didn't waste any money finding out how bad this forum really is.
HealthBoards Review: Frustrating Experience with Arrogant Administrators
HealthBoards is a website that could be good if they just got rid of the administrators. I had a bad experience with them about six years ago when an administrator told me I wasn't following the rules. They never explained to me what I was doing wrong, so I asked for clarification. Instead of helping me, they banned me from the site. Recently, I decided to give it another try and downloaded their smartphone app for $1.99. When I tried to log in, I was told to contact the administrator via email. I did so, but was told that I was still banned. They said they would let me back on if I promised to follow the rules, but I was never told what I did wrong in the first place. It was frustrating because I just wanted a clear answer. They told me not to argue with the administrators, but how could I not when I didn't even know what I did wrong? They said they don't keep records that long, so I'm just being punished without any explanation. I'm banned again, likely forever. I'm also asking for my $1.99 back from iTunes. I can't believe how rude and arrogant they are. I've been on a lot of forums and never had a problem with any of them. It's frustrating to deal with people like that. Overall, I'm done with HealthBoards and won't be using their site again.
Healthboards: Unhelpful and Snotty Moderators Ruin Experience
I recently joined Healthboards, a health forum, and I must say, my experience has been less than satisfactory. I have been a part of many online forums, but this one takes the cake for being the most unhelpful and snotty, especially when it comes to the moderators.
I took the time to write a detailed post about my medical condition and asked for advice from the community. However, within an hour, my post was taken down, and I received a message from the moderators stating that I had violated the forum rules by asking for medical advice. They even went as far as to suggest that I was ignorant and unhelpful for asking for advice on a health forum. I mean, who else would I turn to for advice on a health forum if not the community of people who have experienced similar situations?
What's even more frustrating is that there are countless posts on the forum asking for medical advice, and yet my post was taken down. It seems like they only want people who are not too articulate and informed on the forum.
If you're looking for a helpful and supportive health forum, I suggest you stay far away from Healthboards. The moderators are rude, unhelpful, and will not hesitate to take down your post if they feel like it. Save yourself the trouble and find a better forum to join.
I recently joined Healthboards, a health forum, and my experience has been far from satisfactory. In particular, the moderators' conduct has been less than helpful and often dismissive.
I took the initiative to share a detailed post about my medical condition, seeking advice from the community. To my surprise, my post was promptly removed, and I received a message from the moderators claiming a violation of forum rules for seeking medical advice. This response felt discouraging, especially considering it's a health forum, where seeking advice from those with similar experiences is expected.
What's even more frustrating is the apparent inconsistency, as numerous posts requesting medical advice remain untouched. It appears that they prefer less articulate or informed forum participants.
If you're seeking a supportive and helpful health forum, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. Healthboards' moderators may come across as rude, unhelpful, and trigger-happy in taking down posts. Save yourself the hassle and seek out a more accommodating community.
HealthBoards: Once a Great Resource, Now Ruined by New Management
I've been using HealthBoards for over a decade now, and I must say that it has been a great resource for me. I've posted hundreds of times on various subjects, and I've had many fruitful discussions with other members. The advice I've received from them has been invaluable, and I hope that I've been able to help others as well.
However, my experience with the site changed in the summer of 2016. It seems that they must have come under new management, and things have not been the same since. I made the mistake of posting a link to a book, which I didn't know was against the rules, and I was banned without warning. I apologized to the moderator and was allowed back, but then I made another mistake. I said that I'd like to recommend a book, but it was against the site's rules, and I wished they'd change the rules. And guess what? I was banned again.
I apologized once again and got back my credentials. I was very careful after that and made sure not to break any rules. But then, out of the blue, I was banned again. And why? For the comment I had previously been banned over months earlier! I was outraged and demanded an apology. Eventually, I got one from the moderator, but it came with a nasty reminder that I should have erased the earlier post. And if I didn't like their rules, I could take my business elsewhere.
Well, that's exactly what I'm going to do. It's a shame that the nasty people running this site now have ruined what was once a great resource. I've posted on dozens of other web sites over nearly 20 years and have never been banned. I'm not a problem person or a troll. I just wish that HealthBoards would go back to the way it used to be.
Healthboards.com: Not a Reliable Source for Health Information
So, I recently had an experience with Healthboards.com that left me feeling quite frustrated. I wanted to share some information about a health issue that I had experienced as a result of prolonged exposure to noise. I even had some peer-reviewed publications to back up my claims. However, as soon as I posted my information, I was immediately banned from the site.
When I asked why I had been banned, I was told that Healthboards.com is not a site for professionals. Now, I understand that I am not a health professional or researcher, but I wasn't pretending to be one either. I simply wanted to share some information that I thought might be helpful to others who were experiencing similar issues.
But apparently, that's not allowed on Healthboards.com. The admin told me that they don't want postings that look professional, even if they are backed up by solid research. So, if you're looking for help or information on Healthboards.com, be warned that you won't find any real or substantiated facts about health issues.
It's a shame, really, because I'm sure that many people out there are looking for valid information on health issues and are turning to Healthboards.com for help. But by blocking any real or substantiated facts about health issues, Healthboards.com is doing a disservice to its users.
In conclusion, I would not recommend Healthboards.com to anyone who is looking for reliable information on health issues. If you want to find solid advice and information, it's best to look elsewhere.
The statement "Healthboards.com: Not a Reliable Source for Health Information" suggests that Healthboards.com may not be a trustworthy or dependable source of health-related information. There are several reasons why this might be the case:
Lack of Expertise: Healthboards.com may not have medical professionals or experts moderating or contributing to the content. Reliable health information sources typically have experts who review and create content to ensure accuracy.
User-Generated Content: If Healthboards.com relies heavily on user-generated content, there's a risk of misinformation being spread. Users may not have the medical knowledge or qualifications to provide accurate information.
Unhelpful and Disappointing Moderation on Costo Health Board - Avoid This Website
This website is not very helpful for people who are looking for support and understanding. It seems like the moderators don't care about the users and just want to keep them on their website. It's really depressing. I wanted to create a blog to help people with anxiety and costo, which is a condition I have. I thought it would be a good distraction for people who are dealing with health issues and need to relax. So, I decided to advertise my blog on the costo health board. But, I was suspended without any warning! I didn't know that I couldn't post about my blog. I messaged the moderators to appeal my suspension, but I was shocked by their response. They were so rude to me! I wasn't being rude, but I was frustrated because I thought they would understand that I was trying to help people. But, they didn't care. They told me to use another site if I wanted to post about my blog. That's not fair! People should be allowed to seek support from different sources. I'm really offended and disgusted by the way they treated me. I only wanted to help people who are going through the same thing as me. Now, I can't even be there for someone who needs me. I would advise you to avoid this website and find somewhere nicer. The moderator is not a nice or understanding person. Why would you want someone like that reading your health issues? I certainly don't. If I could give this website 0 stars, I would.
I have no idea how to unsubscribe!
Horrible site and I have no idea how to unsubscribe!
When I signed up I had no idea what this site was about and must say that I did not find it helpful. So I decided to cancel my account. But for some reason I'm still receiving spam messages from Healthboards! I contacted their support service many times and told them that I was not happy and asked them to stop spamming my mail, but they did not reply.
Then I went to their site but wasn't able to find anything there. I want to know how can I unsubscribe! I deleted my account but it looks like that was not enough. What a joke.
Terrible service!
I made an account on HealthBoards website and recently made my first post. Next day I found out that my post was deleted and my account was banned. I contacted HealthBoards customer service right away and asked what was going on and their rep said that I did not follow their rules and there were other users who complaint about my article. What?
I went to their website and tried to find these rules but wasn't able to. Terrible service!
Rigid enforcement of rules, rules designed to prioritize advertisers over users
During October, I posted regularly on Healthboards.com about my broken ankle and helped other users with their health problems. One user asked for recommendations of exercises that she could do while in a leg cast. I had found a particular Youtube video helpful when I had my leg cast. It showed a number of good exercises. The Youtube video was produced by a private individual as a public service, and did not promote any business. I also had no personal connection to the videomaker. However, when I posted a link to the video, it apparently violated a rule against posted links to "commercial websites". The rule is questionable, since there is so much valuable information that happens to be on commercial websites. The purpose of the rule seems to be to monopolize ad revenue from website users, rather than to help users in any way. It had not occurred to me that posting a useful link could be against the rules. My post resulted in the website moderator immediately banning me from the website for a week. When I protested by email, I was banned permanently. The website is not about helping users. It is about monopolizing ad revenue and giving its moderator a vehicle for power trips.
Their rules annoyed me
When I registered on the forum www.healthboards.com, I was so happy that I have found the website. I was excited and use the website very often, but couple of months ago everything has changed. They made the rules, where they wrote what each user couldn’t do on the website. As well as they sent a lot of warnings and other spam too often. It annoyed me too much and I stopped to use this website.
A lot of rude and unpleasant people are registered there
I was a member on the website www.healthboards.com. It was ok in the beginning, but now the forum became a place, where all people argue and didn’t listen to each other. I was so shocked, when I placed my question there and received bad reply from some other user. He told me a lot of unpleasant and used a lot of negative words, but he didn’t know me. Be careful on this website, and think twice before you register on the website.
They have very ambiguous rules that seem to randomly be applied against different sub groups
I had the same experience with this website, answered a question from another user and my account was locked out. Appears they don't want people sharing ideas or information about medical conditions. Not sure what their purpose is or what they hope to accomplish if people cannot share ideas or talk about their medical conditions. They have very ambiguous rules that seem to randomly be applied against different sub groups on the site and don't seem to apply to their senior members.
I WAS BANNED
I had recently helped myself with Acid Reflux, by using supplements. I used Pancreatin about 15 - 20 minutes prior to eating and it basically has helped tremendously with acid reflux. I also started taking Probiotics (Healthy bacteria) and take aloe vera soft gels and other supplements. I was banned almost immediately from their board. They don't allow that type of posting, yet they claim to be all about health. They only sell drugs for health. My Mom used all those Acid reflux drugs and she had to keep using them and they caused side effects. Drugs can help you in many instances, but almost everyone has an acid and indegestion issue, God I know this I work in the industry and this is one problem that can be solved in a healthy way.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Totally agree. My account was just suspended because I asked for information on alternative treatments for a friend diagnosed with cancer. I asked for these alternatives because the traditional allopathic treatments are ineffective and likely to cause serious side effects, and because even if the allopathic treatments do work, the benefits they would provide would be miniscule. I now understand HealthBoards.com to be a shill for Big Pharma.
