I have been a lifetime member since march 2006. I haven't heard from them in over a decade. What happened?

American Pickers
I've been a huge fan of American Pickers for years but I must say it's not nearly as entertaining without Frank Fritz. I have no idea what you or Mike Wolf was thinking. It's not that I don't like Jersey John or Robbie or Danielle but the show has become boring. I prefer to see the older episodes with Frank but not sure how much I'll continue watching these new episodes.
American Pickers
Mike shouldn't have kicked Frank out I'm done with the show...
Desired outcome: Bring Frank back
American Pickers
Show has not been the same without Frank Fritz. Started watching it from its inception and while Dani and Robbie are enjoyable costars, the Frank and Mike team chemistry made all the difference. I used to be sure to catch every episode but find I am less and less interested. I hope you will rethink the decision to replace him.
Desired outcome: Bring Frank Fritz back
Diversity exaggeration on commercials
Sponsors who pay to advertise on the History channel are restricting their market potential. Over exaggerating diversity is having a negative effect on your base.
I now know who NOT to do business with.
Too bad that the shows I like are on this channel.
Problem solved for me though. I wait 24hrs and then bypass all of this self virtuous propaganda.
Desired outcome: Equality
Life Membership
The benefits that I paid for seem to have disappeared and I am unable to contact anyone for resolution.
The magazine has stopped, no on-line access to information, no benefits and no emails or correspondence explaining any changes.
Exact costs not recalled but a few hundred dollars. Membership # [protected], effective 10/2009.
I am seeking a refund of membership fees.
Desired outcome: Refund
I completely agree with you. The same exact situation happened to me. Wish someone would start a class action lawsuit.
Programming
It seems every other channel these days is dedicated to black people. Its the most racist [censored] I have ever seen. Black lives matter, black movies, black cinema, Black video, etc etc etc etc etc. I think a good law suit is in order for discriminating against white people. No wonder you are going out of business. What the hell are you thinking trying to run off every white viewer you have?
Desired outcome: Programming that is not ALL BLACK.
Glad to see that what I see is also seen by thousands. Your comment is appropriate and factual.
Américas book of secrets
The new black man hosting this show is awful! Bring back the original host, please! This new black man speaks very strangely. I cannot understand some of what he is pronouncing.!? I watched every episode before with the original host. Now I did not even watch one entire show. I am interested in the topics of the show but I turned the channel because of the new host. His attitude is obvious in his speaking. He seems very egotistic. The origin host never presented himself as this. Please replace the new black host with the original host or someone like him. Thank you!
Desired outcome: Replace new black host with the original host! I watched the show frequently then.

I did not appreciate your snide comment that my complaint and claim will not recieve serious consideration unless it is voluminous. I believe the notice said my claim needs to be 350 words or longer to get attention. That is rediculous. I will expect a response.
Desired outcome: Send me my money back.
History Channel Life Membership
I recieved this as a birthday gift when i was younger and only recieved them for a couple years before they stopped coming. was a huge disappointment. Also i remember the chess set was painting horribly with eyes being on the forehead or the cheek.
Desired outcome: I want more magazines again
A racist station
I would like to start off by saying that I am a native American and this is not a black and white America and not everyone is married to a black person you need to stop shoving this [censored] in everyone's face not just black and white people live in this land. Land that if you want to be technical doesn't belong to neither one of you the black man was taken from his land the land was taken from us so if the black man feels like hes got it so bad here pack your [censored] and go home to the mother land and [censored] and have you looked up the BLM web site and see what they really stand for read it and I think you might have a different view of what your supporting if not your just as bad as them so stop showing that all that live in this country is black and white people
I fully support your comments.
Any programming that has the annoying "flashing screens" for some sort of effect other than pissing people off.
What the hell is so cool about flashing the screen brighter any time you either, make a new point, re-run a old point, re-running something you have already covered in another episode or any other [censored]ing time while watching your shows ? How about just showing the [censored]ing show without the drama of the flashing ?
Desired outcome: Stop it !!
Voiceover on shows
Please stop the annoying voiceover on shows like counting cars. Most people don't need a voiceover to tell them what actions are on the screen and if they do, they will turn it on on their tv themselves. This is super irritating and I see there is at least one other complaint about this with a lot of comments. Let's get this fixed guys! There's no reason a disability accessibility item should be auto turned on.
Desired outcome: No more unnecessary voiceover
life time benefits
Where is my refund for my paid membership of your product. Also I still need several knives for my civil war collection.
Desired outcome: more knives
'The Foods That Built America'
I have been very pleased with the program. However I find it absurd that the History Channel would provide a show of America that uses British Railroads to depict American railroads. In the episode of the 'war' between NABISCO and Sunshine the channel really goofed by using foreign railroads instead of the many films of US freight hauling by US railroads.
Desired outcome: Don't do it again.
Poor product choices made by the board
The community doesn't care for the voices made by the board of snowflakes. Someone needs to be fired.
People proved their point in the ratings. They love Live rescue, live Pd and 48 hours . It's shows how we interact and heal the community. It's real life and it's genuine
Desired outcome: Change the programs
Production values
Just watched Tim Allens new show...was he on something or just disinterested. Too bad. Could have been so much more. However, my main complaint is about the new show, "The cars that made America". Where does one start...the historical facts about the beginnings of our auto industry were fairly correct but woefully thin, and I'm guessing done for the non-automotive enthusiast. Ok. I get it. But, who the heck is (are)the producer(s) who create the scene? Have they never been to theater school? Oh wait...A&E. Not HISTORY.
Since its obvious you have no historians on the production team how dare you try to pull off such a hoax! Henry Fords original car that was raced looked nothing like the car used in filming. Strike number one. The moment I saw one of the "Dodge Brothers" working on a Rochester Quadrajet carburetor, which didn't exist until decades later, was strike number two. I didnt wait for three.
History should be portrayed FACTUALLY. Thats why I'm attracted to historical programming. But when the production can't be bothered with accuracy then it begs the question, are the events portrayed manipulated to satisfy some office shirt who is only concerned with the bottom line? Or does The History Channel feel that their audience is probably too ignorant to know the difference.
I'm not a theater major but a life long gear head. Who directed this drivel and actors? Ive seen community theater actors who were better. But thats MHO. But the historical miscues? Unacceptable and ultimately your production of "The Cars That Made America" feel flat on its face for me. Do you have historians on staff?

Desired outcome: Tighten up your production values and be ACCURATE
Tim Allen
This complaint is in regards to the new Tim Allen and Richards Karn show, Assembly Required. I watched the
First episode February 23. 2021
I like the idea of the show for contestants to assemble things. Technical knowledge, creativity and speed are required.
Tim Allen proceeded to use very derogatory language describing the Artist and winner Sean T. French. He used the description of:
"ADD-Attention Deficit Disorder" ADD Sean..."There is something wrong with this man..."
I hope this feedback instills in you an oversight that includes what and how Tim Allen describes his participants and hopefully this inflammatory and derogatory language will disappear in your next episode.
Best regards, Felicia Winograd
Desired outcome: I hope this feedback instills in you an oversight that includes what and how Tim Allen describes his participants and hopefully this inflammatory and derogatory language will disappear in your next episode. Best regards, Felicia Winograd
The History Channels The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch is proving to be a excellent program with various levels of entertainment and education. And in todays times it is a rare thing.
So keep, up the good work, as we are glad to see it remain on prime time in the West Coast.
If possible keep at all costs, Dr. Travis Taylor. He provides focus and direction in the series.
( I can not believe that a large perhaps hot air ballon has not been suggested or a cable to loft equipment to the area above the triangle. ) Forgive me, I had to make the obvious suggestion. Your probably have gotten tired of the same suggestion.
So thank you for a program worth watching.
Audio
The loud crappy background music (noise) has made it impossible to watch your channel. I suppose it is meant to elicit emotions but it is only noise. It makes cthe dialogue nearly impossible to follow and extremely irritating. I can't imagine that anyone enjoys it or feels it inhances your programming.
We also avoid many shows on other channels (Nat/Geo) who have done the same thing to the audio. Our next door neighbors on either side of us have the same issues with this noise crap. I think it has cost you lots of viewers. It is that irritating ! I'm going to miss you but bye bye.

I bought a lifetime membership in the history channel club
I became a lifetime member in 2003. I received the package that came with the membership (civil war chess set, bookmarker, envelope opener, etc. I did receive the magazines for a while but I can't remember the last time I received a magazine. I moved away from my house in 2018 (after 42 years) and have been trying to update my address with them but the club is no longer showing up on the website. Now I hear they are no longer a club. From what I've been reading I'm not the only one who was blindsided by their actions.
Desired outcome: Refund on my life time membership
