I am in a Lawsuit against Homecomings Financial. I have received several wonderful e-mails, through the Complaint Board. I need more cases, to use in my Lawsuit. I am also arranging for formal investigation of Homecomings Financial, with the FTC, the U.S. Civil Rights Commission, and the U.S.Justice Department.

We must show, a documented pattern of abuse. I have also received encouragement from a Former Prosecutor in the Attorney General's Office, in Colorado. More people must fight back,of Homecomings Financial, and other bad Mortgage Companies will continue to abuse people, and take their homes. Homecomings is in trouble with the Judge on my case, because they cannot prove that they legally purchased my home. Please let me hear from you, if you have a story to share, or you feel like fighting back.

I would like to provide you with my story. My husband arranged a second mortgage with Homecomings and he told me when to show up at the closing. I should have read the fine print but I did not. I have just gone through a divorce and now I am stuck in the house because the first and second mortgage are more than the value of the house. I cannot sell and I am having a hard time refinancing because of the high loan to value ratio. I think that companies like Homecomings are ruining working Americans and taking advantage of people like my husband. I will provide any thing that you need please contact me. If I cannot find a solution to this problem by this winter I will have to file bankruptcy and me and my two kids will have to find a place to rent. Thanks

Homecomings Financial purchased our mortgage loan from another company in July of 2005. Since then I have notice that the payments being made to Homecomings are not reflected on the statements that we receive each month. When I call to discuss this issue they can't explain to me where and how my payments are being applied. They have advised that they would research and investigate the issue and return my call. No one has ever return my call and I call to request to speak with someone in management but they act as though they are transferring the call and the call is then disconnected. My husband and I pay our mortgage every month and they continue to say that we are behind. If they continue to take money from us and not apply the payments to our account we will never get caught up and we may end up losing our home. Please help smb!

We are giving Homecomings our home back. We are in foreclosure and they would not even try to work with us to lower our interest rate; instead sent us a letter that our rate was going up by approx. $250 a month. Nice, especially when we were struggling to make first payment.

When they finally called, they tried to ask me if we going to file bankruptcy. Little did they know at that time, we had already talked to attorney. We had to file Chapter 7 to give us 2 more months in our home and protect us from them coming after us for monies these lose in deal. Now they can have our home and lose bigtime! I do not feel sorry for them... they raped us. And the loss and litigation mgr. asked us if we were going to file bankruptcy and tried to advise us against it. Well duh, they knew they would lose then. They are not on the consumers side. Now they can pay the high price.

I am also in Colorado and have 10 days to vacate home. Who is the attorney you are working with? I have been assessed so many fraudulent forced insurance policies, "late fees" and increases that the loan became harder and harder to pay as my husband died 4 years ago and I inherited this nightmare. I would be happy to show pattern of abuse with my experience with this company.
Thanks, Dede Krausman

HOMECOMING FINANCIAL NEEDS TO BE STOPPED! I fell behind in payments because my finance was laid off. I sent payments for July 07 at the end of august 07 and 2 weeks later send another payment for august at the end of august. well 7 weeks later (October) the payments get kicked back from my online bill pay. When I call homecomings they say oh yeah you are in foreclosure. i cannot speak to you, you have to call the atty. I call the atty it takes them 3 weeks to get paperwork out to me (we are in the same state). I get the paperwork from atty and they have over 2K in fees. They are trying to charge me $390 for a process server alone. I used to work at a law firm and know for a fact process servers charge about $75.00 per person served. I know call the law firm to try and make payment plans well they don't do that (even though it states to make payment arrangements contact our office with their number). they give me another number (which doesn't work) and it takes me over 15 minutes to get them on the phone. then i call them back (put on hold again for over 15 minutes) to get the correct number. I call the "correct" number and after being on hold for 28 minutes they say oh no you need to call the Dallas office. Fine I call the Dallas office and they tell me without your finance's new pay stubs we cannot even talk to you about any kind of payment plan. Oh and by the way now owe $4944.90 for the months July-November! How is this even possible my mortgage payment wasn't even $700.00 a month!

I have read many complaints about Homecomings and while I do agree with the poor customer service, I do believe that many of these complaints our the consumers fault. My wife and I bought our first house over a year ago and Homecomings bought our mortgage. We have never missed a payment and have never been late on a payment and we have never had any extra fees or anything added to our payment or loan. I believe that everyone complaining signed a contract when they purchased their home and for the majority of the complaints you are upset because you can not hold up your end of the contract by paying your bill. Mabey if you would pay your house payment on time you would not be in the situation you are in, and if you can't pay it they do not have any obligation to show you sympathy.

My wife and I were victims of predatory lending. Are mortgage was sold to Homecomings and we have never missed a payment even though it is now up to almost $3,000 a month. We have been trying to refinance and no one will help us. We just found out the reason why today! And thats because since 2006 Homecomings has not been reporting are payments. How the hell does a company get away with this? And how do my wife and I get help? Please contact me at robr28@verizon.net if you have information on a lawsuit. Or how we can go about doing this. Homecomings never returns your calls or sends you paperwork. They act as if you never call? We don't have thousands of dollars to go up against a multi million dollar company. I though owning a house was a good thing !

these people should be stopped! my husband had cancer a year and a half ago,we fell 2 months behind. i called snd worked out arrangments with them after my payment was returned. we were then served with forclousure papers. we have been on at least 5 repayment plans since. we made our last payment to them on nov-10-07. we recieved a sheriff sale in our door dec-05-07 with a date of jan-23-08. how does this make sense? i called them and they said to keep making payments and they would stop the sale, but i felt it was best to keep our money and leave. i talked to the secertary at the sherrifs office and she told me they entered judgement for the sale on nov-19-07,so our payments would have stopped nothing! HELP!

I agree with everyone on this comment board and I am so sorry to hear about all the trouble that you are all having. This is the reason I started my company. I have helped several people that have mortgages with ASC, Countrywide, and other mortgage companies that don't seem to care if they harass people or suck them dry. The comments I have heard are along the lines of trying to get blood from a stone or turnip, or something like that.

I have a service that actually will take you out of the loop of contact with ASC, or Countrywide or whomever you have servicing your loan. All you have to do is tell me how we can help you. By that I mean, tell us what you are looking for us to do for you and we will pursue the help that you want, no matter what. We have all aspects of the mortgage business covered from being a mortgage mediation company, a title company, a real estate company, all the way to having access to attorneys for litigation or help to avoid foreclosure. No aspect of help is turned away.

Let me tell you, most of the customers that I deal with have told me about the fear and the frustration of working with mortgage companies that don't seem to care or give them the runaround. To be totally fair, mortgage companies have their ways of dealing with people. Some are good, some are horrible. But one thing all mortgage companies love is being vague. When they are vague, they don't have to give you information until you ASK for it. How does that help you? How can you try to save your home if you don't know how to ask the right questions?

That’s another reason why I created this company. I take your number out of their "system". When they mail you something, it goes to me. I take the burden away from you so you can live your life without the phone calls and the letters. And the rudeness! Oh, man, if I told you some of the stories I have heard...let's just say, it’s not pretty.

I know that some people are going to look at this comment and go, this guy is trying to drum up business. Well, you're right. But here's the kicker. I used to work in mortgage collections. I used to make the phone calls and send the letters. I used to work around the people that make your lives hell. And I kept asking myself, why? Why are these people not being told about the help that’s readily available? Why are these people not being helped to make payment arrangements that are realistic? Why does this company care more about the money than about customer service when that is supposed to be their primary objective?

That's why I got out. I can not stand collections. Just because they are hiding behind a company name they think that they can say anything or act anyway they like with the customers, being friendly with one and the next 40-50 they can treat like crap. Where is the customer service?

I take all that frustration away from you and create solutions that work. I know that it may be hard to swallow, but I do. I have done it for several people. And I can do it for you too. If you want more specifics or just want to talk to me, call my office at [protected] and check out the website, which is being updated with a few new options available. And this isn't just for people facing foreclosure, people that are current and want to pay off their home early, call me. I can and will help as many people as I am able to. What have you got to lose? Website address is http://www.onlybusiness.com/members/RealtyMediationService...and if not for you, best of luck. In all your endeavors.

I have great credit, make a 6 figure income and have better than agreed payment hist. with HCF. Almost 700 cs.
Problem is I only have bank statements to prove income. I invest my income into my business ventures to legally avoid taxing on my remaining income.
This hurts me when trying to get a loan.
I got the loan with the same situation though and with worse credit and less money. All this considered, I have been turned down over and over for refi. missing out on many lower fixed rates.
I was told when acquiring my loan that I could refi with a better fixed rate after the 3 yr fixed term.
I think HCF is guilty of unfair business practice and bait and switch.
I would like to be involved in a/the lawsuit.
I too am gathering data for a lawsuit but would be happy to join an existing one.

Kind regards
