Bad News !
I am not sure this is a total scam. I mean they do tell you about the airline fees in the fine print an $150 for two round trip tickets is not bad. I went to the meeting and actually signed up for a memebership only becasue i have been looking at destination weddings and its going to cost $15000, but the the member[censored] would cut the cost down to $5000. I was all excited so i went for it and while driving home i started to realize... i just put down $1000 i will have to pay another $7200 and then $300 every year. WOW, but they tell you: you can sell them, give them away to anyone, they said they had overstock trips that are $388 all inclusive round trip per person! As a traveler who spends too much money on trips as it is i was so excited. I got online and saw the website, very few $388 trips that were all inclusive- they are for the lodging only for 5 days. They say they will find you the lowest airfare at the time (what does that mean?) oh and... you can not sell the $388 trips on ebay- ebay requires a travel agent lisence. the next morning i called to cancle i decided i would rather take a risk on the ebay trips that are even cheaper and no yearly fee. I have no idea how easy it is to plan a trip through them, or what it would take to gift one, but after all the money i would be paying i would be outraged if it was a pain in the butt and/or the lodging was crappy! so i cancled, lost $500 and broke out from the stress (that was the worst part!) Its only been a few days and i have not see the credit back on my credit card, but i did talk to a lady from the IVN main company and she said all my information was in their computer to be refunded the money and i should see it in two weeks... its going to be a long wait. I am kind of nervous after reading all of these reviews. I am not sure what came over me that night i signed up, i am always so fast to say no and have no problem telling sales people NO. I always do my research before any purchase and i am very ferugal. I guess i was excited about the wedding! They tell you its a one time offer and you can never get a better price in the future- thats not ture, go home do your research and find out if its good for you. I would like to know if anyone know someone who is an actual member who has taken a trip with them.
I when to the RR, TX office. The pitch sound great...But the price when from $9995. for 6 weeks too $7995. for 3 weeks. Than when that did not work the when to $4000. for 3 weeks and I still did not bite the said I can do the air packages, cruse specials and the excess inventory for $1495 plus $299 set up fee plus $287. ASC yearly fee... I knew it was not in my best interest... Thank to my friend who talk me out of it...Did anyone take the 7 day cruise for $75.00 and $129 in taxes per person? Oh how about the store recepts for $100 to get $25. back each month for four months...Help...
This company continues to call me at least once a week for the past 6 months after REPEATED requests to remove me off their call list. I'm on the do not call list and they continue to solicit. How do you get them to stop? I've filed a report with the FTC. I've told them I'm recording the call so they would stop but it does not work. Can someone give me a # to call? The #s they call from is [protected] but changes frequently and they always call from a # that I cannot call back. Ridiculous.
Received a phone call solicitation from iGlobal Saturday. There were a number of red flags:
- needed to come today or tomorrow
- needed to bring ID and credit card
- two free airline tickets plus free $100 gift card
Clearly Israeli team of folks. Recent twists:
- "We are opening a call center in Round Rock (Austin), TX, come by and tour and see what we do."
- "We are calling with and on behalf of Marriott"
Folks, this isn't a "SCAM", but it's also not straightforward. This type of business (vacation club) is legal, but it's also very high pressure and for most will not ever pay off. Most, you should be weary of giving these folks your credit card info to pay for a deposit, taxes, fees, etc.
Finally, these are the same folks staffing your local mall kiosks. Israeli youth come to the US to legally sell merchandise at huge markups with high pressure. They're good at it because their culture is high press sales. Does this sounds familiar, "try this lotion made with sea salt, here try some, let me put it on your hand"? Theyre just reselling the cheapest lotion they can find in a fancy bottle. Cost = $.55 and profit = $29.45. How do I know? A good friend from Israel owns kiosks and brings his friends and family in to staff them.
My wife and I attended the presentation and were impressed with the travel service. When they got to the pricing part, and the $10, 000 price, I stood up to leave and they talked me into staying. We got them down to about $2500 for 1 week and we signed up. We were promised the airline tickets and a $100 grocery card. About 3 weeks after the presentation we still hadn't received the grocery card. My wife started calling them about it and someone sent out an email acknowledging the fact that we haven't gotten it. I called I-globe to cancel our contract due to non-receipt of goods and the lady on the phone was a super b*#&h. I told her my next call was going to be to my CC company for a backcharge of the purchase she wished me good luck and hung up on me. I have been reimbursed for the initial purchase amount, by my CC company, but not the rest of my monthly payments or the annual fee yet. They are still very rude on the phone when they call. I still can't believe we were talked into buying that package. Live and learn.
iGLOBE TRAVEL IS CURRENTLY UNDER CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION WITH TEXAS ATTORNEY GENERAL AS WELL AS ROUND ROCK POLICE DEPT & the IRS!
iGlobeTravel is a f% crock! The Round Rock site has 2 professional con men named Donnie & Todd. Watch out for these guys! They are f&^%#ng [censor]. There's a reason they require you to have your credit card at the presentation. Also, the free gifts they promise are not free. Read some of the comments and you will see. It was a wasted day for me except as a reminder that "there's a sucker born every minute!" They start by offering you a 9995.00 travel membership, then when they meet with you individually, they whittle it down to 1, 000. People who have joined say that it is too frustrating to ever get booked for a "resort stay". You have to fax in tons of paperwork and the fax and phone are always busy and if you ever get through, they tell you there are no available reservations for your time period.
iGLOBE TRAVEL IS A FRAUD AND CURRENTLY UNDER CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION WITH TEXAS ATTORNEY GENERAL AS WELL AS ROUND ROCK POLICE DEPT & the IRS!
If you want a reliable travel source use Travelocity or an airline like SWA which offers
package deals which are cheaper and honest.

Very pushy sales people..beware
Check him out on Facebook- Looks like he's heading overseas for a new job!
STAY AWAY THERE SCAMMERS!
I just received their "mailer" recently and decided to do some research before attending their meeting in 810 Highway 6 S, Suite 150, Houston, TX 77079. Google is your best friend and scammers will show up on it fast. If anyone of you got scammed by these [censor], just file with BBB, FTC, State Attorney General, and also FBI (they're on marketing scammers really good). God bless !
04/18/2011 Received a letter for the same thing...Where the heck are our elected officials? VOTE Out will Greg Abbott!
I'm waiting on my response back from the BBB. I purchased in oct 2010. Had to wait til jan to use product. U cannot select vacation first and pay you must summit forms and wait. The excess inventory is a joke. They misrepresented the product and its expectations. The voucher were not free and I somehow owe more now than the purchase price after I've already invested 2500. SCAM!
I read the fine print on my airline voucher and figured if they were capable of such non-disclosure as the $150+ for the free trip, there may be other things I need to know before signing over my money. I was glad for the airline scam; it saved me a lot of money. For the future, I will never sign up for anything when time to research and consider is not allowed.
I pulled their Dun & Bradstreet credit report, and they have a terrible credit rating. A commercial credit score of 3 or higher means that the risk of severe payment delinquency is likely to occur within the next 12 months. Theirs is 3. A financial stress score of 3 or higher means that the risk of financial stress is likely to occur within the next 12 months. Theirs is 4. You can see they wouldn't recommend lending them any more than $1, 000. Why would you give your money to a business with terrible credit? Why would they be concerned about your credit worthiness if their own is terrible?
I tried to attach a screencap of the Dun & Bradstreet report but it didn't work. The link to it is here:

At first i was annoying but when i went there, the presentation was good yes they were trying to sell me something but its not yet time for us! well its ok i got my free gift anyways i love it try it if i were you
SO glad to have come across this site! I was instructed that because I'm married and would be coming alone to play like I was single for an hour! Here's the topper...do not wear my wedding ring! Nice! The caller, with an accent from India, even made a point of saying "God Bless You!" several times. Good grief!
I have been plagued with I Global sales people and have asked them to stop calling me. They do not understand stop and take my name off your list. Finally I told them that I have researched their company and have found that they are under investigation by the Texas AG office and Round Rock police. The call was abruptly terminated.
Thanks to all who have posted their experiences on this web site. I am appreciative of all of you. The internet has it definite uses. There are other places to get vacations and keep money in your pockets.
I attended Iglobe Travel's Info session in Round Rock, TX because they guaranteed me 2 FREE round trip airfare tickets & a $300 Reward card good at Walmart, Best Buy, etc. The Plane ticket voucher from Fly America that they give are NOT FREE as guaranteed! First you must mail them a $7.95 processing fee, then wait for a certificate back in the mail, then mail them back the certificate & $150 money order (not a personal check so you can see where your money went), then wait several months & you get two vouchers, and you still have to pay airport charges, fuel charges, taxes, etc. If you & someone else want to travel together on the same flight using the certificates... not permitted! The $300 Free Reward card from "Reward Redemption Center" is worse. First, sign up on their web site, then you must spend $100 / month at a store & they send you a check for $25 after you mail them the receipt. You can't be given more than $25 / month so it takes mailing them receipts every month for a year to get the $300 claimed on the voucher. If you are thinking of attending their info sessions for the rewards it's not worth it!
i worked for them for 3 days. I cant stand scamming people. don't fall for these guys. i resigned in my 4th day and did not show up for work. for pete's sake. just hang up on them or tell them to put you on their do not call list.
I got the call tonight, from phone number [protected].
Normally we don't answer the phone, but for some reason I did tonight in hopes that finally it would be other than what it was. Caller said he was calling on behalf of IGLOBE Travel (or was it IGLOBE International Travel) and that he was calling from Round Rock, TX (just north of me). He was probably using a cell phone so I suppose he could have been calling from Round Rock. He had a heavy accent and was in room full of other callers. Clear signs of a high pressure direct marketing sweat shop. He said Mr. so many times I got sick of it. He assured me there was no obligation or cost and the only catch was attendance at a meeting at the Round Rock location.
After he switched me to his manager and she started talking about setting up the meeting I unconsciously switched to bad cop mode and explained that my wife would have to agree to sitting through a presentation and that I knew she wouldn't. About that time the real bad cop (my wife) yelled at me for answering the phone, yelled into the phone and it was clear that there was not going to be a meeting. Still the manager indicated that she would call back at another time.
Once I got off the phone I found this iGLOBE TRAVEL form letter online:

hello all: after multiple calls from the high pressure sales persons from IGlobal - from all levels from callers to managers (so they say) to schedulers to managers of schedulers contacting on my cell (given to them by my mother) and home phone calling at the same time with different numbers ranging from [protected] to 402 area codes... I shared with them that I work in litigation in TX (which I do) and have close contact with the TX AG's office (which I do) and the local police dept and DPS --- that I know they are under investigation for fraud, scamming, mail fraud they tried to retaliate with further rudeness and asked if I believe everything I read and hear... I told them when the TX AG's office has a file on them regarding their going's on -- yes I believe it. They terminated the call immediately and have not called back.
Received the standard scam flyer in the mail:
IGT
2000 South IH-35
Round Rock, TX 78681
Mentions a 60-minute presentation, etc. for two round-trip air tickets plus "dinner for two" to Red Lobster or Olive Garden.
Definitely a scam, I would not even call the number listed as I've been through one of these before with another scam company.
