I signed up with IGS based on false and misleading representations made by IGS/vision solar representatives. I was assured that any bill from IGS would automatically divert credit from the County assistance program under LIHEAP. Furthermore, I was also assured that all payment arrangements that will divert credit from the assistance program towards my PSEG (Electric and gas provider) automatically. Those representations were made in 2021.
Vision solar was hired by IGS, regardless of it not being employed by IGS, IGS/Vision Solar representatives still made false representation. The solar plates did not even get proper permits and approval by the township till 2024. Vision Solar/IGS employees, for over two years, would show up at my home whenever they pleased and start working on the roof. I politely let it slide, however, on an occasion when it was inconvenient (due to sick parent and work) and I refused to let IGS/vision solar employees on the roof, I was threatened by someone on the phone implying that I gave them unlimited access to my property by signing documents.
IGS started billing me in 2024, I have called several times to find out about false representation made on behalf of IGS by vision solar representative, but have never received a proper answer or spoken to anyone at IGS that would resolve this issue. I am only able to speak to someone from IGS over the phone during a so called "bill collection" phone call.
Their billing seems arbirary, consisting of 3 days billing cycle and different billing rates
Desired outcome: full refund

It appears that IGS Solar and Vision Solar are executing a fraudulent scheme that is built around false promises along with intimidation and random billing tactics. If they did not obtain the appropriate permits and claimed financial aid where there was none, legal action may be suitable. Lodge a case with the consumer protection office in your state, the FTC, and the attorney general of your state. In addition, talk to an attorney to see if you can build a fraud case while contesting the charges. Don’t fall victim to their intimidation tactics aimed at forcing you to clear their blunders.
