Customer Service is really bad and very frustrating. Also - beware of building your site in the temporary mode. I thought everything was offline - but all my temp pages came up in the google search engine and intothedarkroom said there was nothing they could do about it. It's inexpensive, but you will pay for it with slow and unhelpful support.
They are just terrible, I wish I never built my site there, but now I am stuck with them. My business email I have through them is not working - only sometimes...I am running a business here! And they cannot be reached by phone, only sending a ticket. They take their time getting back to me. They are terrible. One of the worst mistakes I ever made.
i am sorry we've let you down. i looked through your past tickets and almost everything has been email related. we're not an email host, unfortunately, so all your issues are outside of our control. we do our best to connect our customers with reputable and consistent email providers like rackspace, zoho, or google apps -- but email is sadly a complicated mess in the 2017. dkim, spif, sender-origin-policies (DMARC), spam filtering -- it's an absolute nightmare. just as unfortunate, many businesses still heavily rely on email as the defacto-standard of communication.
I totally agree. I´m with problems to access my wordpress account. My login is appearing as suspended. I opened two tickets without solution yet.
Ana: we did not receive your original tickets because your email was flagged as undeliverable -- which is also probably why you couldn't use the password reset functionality built-in to wordpress. unfortunately, email deliver-ability is outside of our control. once we actually received your request, we had you up and running the next day.
Vriomaxe: unfortunately, "temporary" does not mean "offline". Temporary mode is a feature that allows our clients to install new products on their servers so they can setup the new website or application without disturbing the existing website or file structure *temporarily*. We employ name-spaced file and folder names that are unique to our products much like other applications like wordpress. With most software you would have to install in in a temporary subfolder like "mydomain.com/temp-new-site/" and then once you are done, move the files manually -- no so with our system. As a general rule: if it's online, it's available to see unless it's behind a password protected area.
