Hello, I hope you are well.
I recently closed our online betting account with Sky Bet. After myself and my friends tried out several sites we finally agreed to settle on a single vendor whose site functionality suited us best. I now find that I have been blocked/banned from my ITV7 registration. I assume that this is because I closed our Sky Bet account; Sky Bet being the main sponsor. Picking the ITV7 races every Saturday is a completely FREE competition. How does the Sky Bet Gamble Aware policy reconcile this anomaly? Surely this tie in encourages, or even forces people to gamble online by opening a Sky Bet account? I tried to use the ITV7 contact Us link and that also redirects to the Sky Bet! (See attached screenshot). I wanted to contact ITV7 and NOT Sky Bet as we are very annoyed by their, in our opinion, patronising, hypocritical and intrusive practices. (Which is just one of the reasons we closed our account).
If this complaint goes against your remit, no worries, We will try other avenues such as press/media.
Thank you for your consideration.
Kind Regards, Andrew
