Kabeara Kennel review: Samoyed/animal puppy mill

When we went to Kabeara Kennel in 2016 to consider a puppy, our email did not reach the breeder and they did not know we were coming. The kennel smelled of strong urine and feces, the puppies were covered in feces as she did not have time to clean them up but was certainly interested in selling the puppies for $2000 each. When she went in back I looked through saloon-style doors and saw cage and cage with three dogs each inside with no room for the dogs to sit down or lay down. This is a very neglectful puppy mill and not a breeder. The state does not have a license in place for this kennel. Avoid buying dogs from her and we try to get them rescued through the Humane Society and ASPCA. The photos on her website are not based on reality and the puppy photos have not changed in 10 years.

We have reported the conditions of the kennel to the Will County Sheriff Department and the Illinois Department of Agriculture as well as filed a formal complaint.
