Kawartha Custom Homes ( Gord Finney ) tTook months to complete projects. Took my personal property to complete another project and then billed me for it. Refuses to pay me for materials he admits he took. Refuses to give a final bill of sale. Refuses to forward any warranty information for products used that I paid for in the event there is any material failure. Roof that he installed is still leaking but no warranty. Exact wordsI recieved via email were "As of today KCH did stop business and so there will be no settlement for you."
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Had heard that this was not a bad company. Guess I got bad information!
Having similar problems with a local, small renovator in the area. Would love to talk about ways that homeowners in the Peterborough area can better protect themselves against unorthodox builders.
