Do not buy furniture from City Furniture it is very dangerous you almost got seriously injured when the springs underneath the couch were not properly supported and collapsed causing you do fall threw the couch the springs popped threw underneath the fabric of the couch and they don't care because it's passed warranty. Bad business practices and rude customer service. Jane Olson is extremely rude at corporate and should not be working for customer service as they should be trying to resolve a customer complaint instead they told me sorry we are not going to look at the couch. You would be much better off spending your money elsewhere. Don't buy from city furniture warning or you could end up losing your money and have a broken couch. They also broke my tiles when bringing the couch. The first and second couch they brought was defective right off the truck and the other couch that I bought from the the staples are coming undone and the zippers are breaking off the pillows and the stuffing is coming out of them. The couch is garbage and the store sells junk. I would never buy anything from this store or the brand kevin charles ever again. It is a shame that these corporate money mongers are allowed to rip off customers and we have to blog them to death to get the message out because they don't want to fix a 100 dollar problem to get a satisfied customer after spending 5, 000 dollars with them I know if it was me id just fix it hoping to get more business but that is the problem with America no one stands behind there products anymore. Don't buy from here you'll be sorry my couch is clearly manufactured with defects. Pics below this is just a few of the problems that is a seam that the material hasn't torn it came like this and they did not use enough fabric to finish the stich second pic is the spring after I screwed the broken board back in place but this arch you see is the spring pushing threw the top of the couch under the cushion way to tight and it was always arched like that third is my pillow stuffing coming out because zipper just popped off because the filled them to tight. And the pic beloew that is my tile they cracked when delivering my couch they never fixed it came out to fix it dusted it with some garbage and it came back a week later they should have replaced the tile and never did. I got broken tiles lost of 5, 000 and a totally useless couch for shopping at City Furniture don't make the same mistake. Copy any image to see it enlarged on you paint. Thank you .

I am having a similar issue as you mentioned. The sofa cushions are terrible and we just bought this couch 5 month ago. They are already sinking in to the point where it's extremely visible and obvious. We called City Furniture and they said that they cannot do anything about. There is obviously a serious defect with the furniture in more then one way. I want to send it back.

After 5 months, the wedge is completely caving in...called city furniture, and they say I have to pay $45 for a company to come out to look at the wedge then fix the issue, or i have to take in. I mean, I've only had it for 5 months, and I paid $1500 for it...they are now selling the same set for $1300.

Well, I own and rent out fully furnished condos in and around the Miami beach area. The furniture in all 9 of my properties have been furnished with the help city furniture's A.O.D. designers. I am very happy with there services and product. There was one occasion when the finish was peeling off a head board due to a manufacturer defect. But since i purchased the 3 year in home service protection plan, having the problem resolved was a breeze. I made one phone call and the day after they had a new headboard to replace the defective old one. Maybe your sales person didn't stress the importance of that additional protection they offer. Mine did and I would like to thank Anthony Licata from the north Miami showroom for his great advice, and professionalism.

BUYER BEWARE I purchased Kevin Charles regal king canopy bedroom set Jan 5 paid $4800 for just the bed, dresser, mirror & media chest. 3 pieces were on backorder until Jan 14. So they scheduled for all my pieces to be delivered on Jan 16, I went into the store on Jan 12 to add the 2 nightstands for an additional $1000 & mattresses for $3000. I had read all the reviews after I purchased the bedroom set on the 5th & thought to myself let me inquire about my items on backorder while I am here. Sure as anything I got the same stories as everyone else on this site complaining. Items are now on back order until Feb 19. No phone call NOTHING. If I hadn't gone into the store they would have just shown up for their scheduled delivery day after I had gotten rid of my current set & not within the 24 hour before delivery guideline to return! THEY ARE NOTHING BUT SCAMMERS HERE! So I demand a manager to speak with before I was taken for by this company & refunded my money. What they don't tell you is that your money will be returned in 7 - 10 business days. So now I am left without a bedroom & need to wait for my money back to find another! Called cooperate office & filed a complaint. They didn't seem to care that they lost an $8800 sale. Store manager didn't care to even research the problem, but what I was told by the manager & rep is that I can pay for all my furniture on Jan 4 & if I don't take the in stock items while they are available then they give it to the next person that comes in & wants next day delivery. They don't hold it for a week until the rest of your items are in stock. I own a very large & successful company I could never show up to a job with have the material, what kind of customer service would that be Hi I have your new cabinets to install but your granite countertops will be delivered in a few months. I mean seriously what company can operate like that. APPARENTLY CITY FURNITURE CAN BECAUSE THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS! Good luck if you purchase anything there if its not in stock I wouldn't give them any money because it will be a long time before you get a complete set there or your money back!

I had purchased a dark regal platform bed from Furniture city, From out of state for my condo in Lauderdale .
had the care taker take my delivery " Very late by the way " To start they put a big scratch in the wall of freshly painted room .
Than too find that the bed had no platform too hold the mattress . they put 4 very thin rails in there instead . so i call and no help at all.
so i have too make a platform too use the bed . and the rails did not match up at all . So i have try too fix that .
Just very bad customer service . So beware

Purchased a sofa, loveseat, ottoman and accent chair made by Kevin Charles. After 2 months the cushions are sagging. City Furniture says this is normal? I even purchased an extended warranty and they said “normal” wear is not covered. This company is a joke. I spent $7500+ At City Furniture furnishing a new home. I would strongly advise against purchasing anything from them. Not reputable.

Poor quality overpriced Kevin Charles regal canopy bedroom set. The drawers do not close shut and handles on the dresser and nightstand break off easily due to poor quality. Customer service is a joke. Dont waste your time and money. The furniture is overpriced and not worth the headache.

I'm out $2, 700 for buying a KC couch. I took a month for the wedge to come in and when I called City to tell them their product was horrible and had poor quality, they said I had 24hrs. to return. What a joke. Fool me once. There needs to be a class action against these people, too many getting ripped off.
