Keystone RV review: Outback rv camper

Keystone Outback Camper 260UML. Approx. 3 years old. The corrugated plastic under belly of the camper was attached to the frame of the camper (two I beams). This plastic cover was attached using plain steel nails, instead of galvanized screws as I have seen on other campers. They shot these nails into the I beams with some type of nail gun. They were shot aprox every 2 feet, from one end to the other of each I beam. (Aprox 28’). Now the problem. Every spot they did this has caused the paint on the I beams to fracture and chip off, and now is blooming into a severe rust areas. The nail used is also rusting to the point that it looks like it will be gone and useless in a few more years. The rust is creeping down the I beams. Now I’ll have to take a grinder, and grind off the nail, so I can remove the rust, treat, and then repaint. Sounds simple, but trust me. This will be quite a job, if I want to halt the rust from destroying the frame of this camper. All because Keystone wanted to short cut the job to save them money. Horrible company. Horrible product.
