Greetings,
I have been trying to get my refund from Klarna since January when I returned a coach purse. Here we are almost 8 months later and I still have not received my money, they are so inept that you will see in the thread below that Sam, a supervisor, acknowledges that a refund was applied and gives me the last digits of the card. After contacting Coach, they verified that the money was refunded to my Klarna card (aka Klarna - it's not actually a credit card). Yet, Klarna can't seem to have process that they own me that money. (See thread below)At this point, Klarna has clearly stolen my money.

I provided you the document clearly showing the credit applied to my Klarna account. Now you are contradicting your own supervisor Sam who previously informed me that I was credited to a Visa ending in 4 digits I didn't recognize. Come to find out from Coach, that was the Klarna account.

looked into making a purchase with them a couple of months back but never made a purchase as their rates are ridiculous. Now they have taken $125 out of my account. I called and spoke with someone who couldnt speak english and she confirmed no, i have no purchases with them and it was an "authorization", told me I should wait 7 days to receive refund!? Threw me into overdraft with other payments coming out. She absolutely refused to give me a supervisor or tell me how I can have my bank card expunged from their database... I purchased a wallet via Coach Outlet. I signed up using Kalarna but decided to go with PayPal. You guessed it. They took money out of my account. Have notified bank this transaction did not happen. Fraud

Purchased a Coach purse through Coach and set up the Klarna 4 installment payment. Checked on purchase delivery 9/2, no delivery status. Called Coach and got the back and forth from Klarna saying to contact Coach, which I already did. When there is a back and forth conversation for your customer service reply, that is rude. Then I am asked to contact the merchant, that is your job, you find out what is going on or you call the member and speak with them directly on the phone. Not happy with the service correspondence, nor do I trust their interactions with the merchant, since the merchant's customer service rep said they "know about Klarna and have been having problems."

I have made several phone calls to them and It has been 14 days of hell! You cannot reach a supervisor on the phone, they only say they will reach back out to you and I have yet to get this resolved. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Having difficulty getting a refund from Klarna for merchandise returned in July; it is now September.
declined my debit card that's through my huntington bank account
I recently opened an account with another bank (BankMobile) and I have a debit card from this bank as well, so with that being said I updated my klarna account with this information. So when I tried to create a ghost card for a purchase with the debit card from this account it declined because they said this was a prepaid debit card, so I used my debit card from my Huntington Bank account ( which by the way is the bank I used to start my klarna account with), and now it's saying I'm not approved for a ghost card at all. I don't understand this, I've paid off two purchases, I have one more payment left on my third purchase (11.00), I've haven't made any purchases over 250.00 and there has never been any issues with the payments. I called klarna customer service and they couldn't help me, saying the system is automated and there's nothing they can do. So I'm very disappointed because I don't feel I've done anything wrong.

I received a letter klarna about non payment of a purchase I have not made
I have received a letter from Klarna (forwarded from an address I have not lived at for 18 months) .
The letter states they have not received payment for a purchase.
However I have never order from the company they mention.
I have tried to ring customer services... but I have not been able to talk to anyone about the this so far.
I believe this to be a scam or someone has used my details to order an item in a fraudulent manner since it seems they don't have to details about themselves and a payment method.
This is shocking and should be stopped. It seems many people are being scammed this way through fraudulent activities.

I am pasting an email I sent to the debt collection service which would show what a poor customer service I have experienced and it also shows their lack of information.
This email is an explanation about the payment to be made to Klarna and also includes attachments as a proof.
I made a purchase on November 23. And received an email to pay until Jan 01. And the amount was 40.61 Euros.
I agree, I didn't pay!
Then, I received their first reminder on January 25 and the deadline was February 5. The amount was 41.81 Euros (mit Verzugskosten).
I called klarna customer care service multiple times. Finding customer care number is a headache here. Although after choosing English line, any German speaking agent picked the call and asked me to call back again for English line or assured me that i'll receive a call back, which never happened until I didn't make 3-4 requests for call back.
Thankfully, I received a call after wasting so much of time, I asked them the bank details again and agreed to pay. The agent deducted the Verzugskosten for me. I appreciate that.
I received another email on January 25 and the new deadline was February 15 and the amount was again 40.61 Euros (ohne Verzugskosten).
I didn't pay.
Then I received an email (first reminder) on January 28. And the amount and deadline was same i.e Feb 15.
Now, I received an email (second reminder) on February 20 with the Verzugskosten again and the deadline was March 3. And the amount 41.81 Euros.
In all the above emails, klarna never mentioned that if I don't pay on time or until the third reminder, they would include your collection services (coeo agency).
Now, I paid before this deadline. I paid on February 25. And they refunded me my amount on March 1.
Then they sent an email on March 8 (third reminder: mentioning in the subject; Letzte Mahnung zur aktualisierten Bestellung bei Wish | Voraussichtliche Übergabe an unseren Inkassopartner). The amount was 41.81 Euros and the new deadline was March 17.
I paid again on the same date, March 8. But they refunded me this time as well which makes sense to me because as per my understanding, their third reminder connected your services to me.
According to the terms and conditions of Klarna,
"If Klarna has a claim against you and you are in default with the payment, Klarna can demand compensation for the resulting damage in the amount of lump sum 1.20 € for each reminder."
FYI: I've worked in a customer service department and as a customer service representative, I know what does service mean. I would never ever like to connect with any organization like this, and would never recommend to anybody. Instead I would make sure to inform my connections to avoid any kind of relationship with this Bank. This incident has really left a bad impression on me.
I hope that you look into the matter. And just to add, I am ready to pay the amount of purchase which I made. I would really appreciate your time and support.

My name is [removed]. I am an international student who just came to Europe to study from Africa for the very first time in May this year. My country of study in Europe is Germany. I don't speak German language at all. Its has been really hard for me here because I have no money, family, relations, or friends. To be quite honest i have been so depressed and even having suicidal feelings. I was thinking that coming to further my studies in Europe could help uplift my spirit and make me feel better about myself and life generally, but it has made it worse. I fell into the wrong hands on my very first month here in Germany. With no flat or accommodation, i was sleeping in a low budget hostel, i ran out of money and couldn't make payments for an online order i made on wish for toilet hygiene products on Wish.com.
The total of my orders on wish came to just over €12, about €12.70. I couldn't even pay for the orders anymore. But now i have been getting threatening letters from the debt collection agency Coeo Inkasso Gmbh. They are charging me for default of payments. I never ordered the products anymore. I didn't receive anything from the sellers. I only made the huge mistake of clicking pay with Klarna as my payment option which I never even understand who they were. I thought it was the German version of PayPal (whom I am used to as usually use them in my home country).
Now due to this naive and honest mistake of mine, this debt collectors are charging huge sums of money when i cannot even afford to feed here in Germany. I am living in my classmate's flat, i had to put up with him in his flat. He just tried to help me out, so i don't sleep on the streets out in the cold.
I am beyond depressed. I don't even know what to do anymore. I can't afford to pay any money to any agency. Please help me out!

I have been living from one flat to another, moving and squatting with friends and managing to cope with the accommodation issues in Berlin. I made an order on Wish because at that time i thought i was going to need the items when i got a flat which i never did. I didn't have any use of the items any longer, there was no need to purchase them with no flat. These items were both under 12 Euros. As an international student who doesn't speak any German, i couldn't even open a bank account in Germany. I wanted to click on the PayPal option on Wish, (which has my Nigerian bank account details since that is what i make use of in Nigeria). I mistakenly and erroneously clicked on Klarna, thinking it was the German PayPal or something.
I am overly sorry about embarrassing your company this way. Please forgive my naivety. I ask that you understand my situation with no more threats as I do not have any money, i can barely survive here in Europe. Please forgive me. It was an honest oversight. I followed the payment instructions online and where I came to inserting my card details, the item details were not enclosed! Only the amount to be paid, so I didn't go ahead with it. There's no contact email on either letters, and I have requested one through the Klarna website a few days ago but nothing back yet. I have no intention in paying for something I have not intended to purchase, so I call scammers.

I have had exactly the same experience as many other correspondents - demands for payment for something I know nothing about. Their debt collectors are now onto me and insist I am liable for the fraudulent debt of some £300, even though it is an obvious scam. I had never even heard of them before this. They should be shut down!
They keep sending me letters demanding payments for an order I did not make or receive from Halfords, I can’t complain directly as I don’t have an account with them and so can’t log in to talk to them. Their correspondence address is in Sweden and so the letters threatening a debt collection agency becoming involved keep coming.
I am glad I am not a customer of theirs.
It will be interesting to see what happens when we end up in court with them. It can't be my fault that they have allowed themselves to be conned in some way. I would write to them to let them know they have been a victim of fraud but they have no UK address to write to.
why do i have an unpaid bill since i didn't received the first product i ordered at verkkokauppa.com? i can't order another product. i cancelled already my first order to get new one.
I was shipped a computer that I never ordered. Had no idea where it came from. The return address was the manufacture of the computer. I knew it was a mistake, but could not get any information on where to return it. I have never opened it. 90 days later I get an invoice in the mail, a credit account for $1025, the cost of the computer and a payment due date, and a payment request of $25. I NEVER ordered this computer. I have called three times and never reach a real person. I am on hold for over an hour each time. I am going to contact the Ca. Attorney General next.
My girlfriend is currently undergoing a very very very negative experience with the following companies -
1. wish.com
2. Klarna Germany
3. Klarna's assigned debt collector - COEO
1. wish.com had failed to deliver all her online order within a reasonable timeline and since no "refund" is to be given after 30 days the order was "sent" and there was due diligence from wish.com to check if the order had reached the buyer or not, Klarna who's the payment platform for wish.com came to demand for my girlfriend to make payment despite the orders not fully received after more than 30days. Let me stress again, it's items not received after MORE THAN 30 days.
2. my girlfriend wrote back to all parties to explain that it will not be fair for her to pay the payment since there is a chance that she might not receive her items. However, the replies were very perfunctory, telling her that it's no longer their problem for my girlfriend not being able to receive the items, just pay,
3. Realising that the items might not be received after even after payment, we stood firm in disagreeing to make any payment until the items are received. It's not that we want to default on payment, but it is not fair to the consumer to demand for payment when she did not receive her items, and the sellers or middleman platform is just washing their hands off this.
4. Now COEO who is the debt collector for Klarna, sent letters and chasers to my girlfriend to ask her for payment and they imposed unreasonable admin charges that cost double of what she had paid for the orders on wish.com
5. These companies are really damaging consumers' trust towards online shopping experience and I hope to raise awareness and urge all online consumers to be wary of shopping with wish.com.
6. If wish.com and Klarna are not going to handle this properly, I will be escalating this problem to the Police for harassment and to both - the European Consumer Centre Germany and the European Commission to seek for justice.

I am having the same problems. They charge me for items that I have return ( received an e-mail that it been return)and they also charge me for delivery charges while it said when I placed an order where it said free delivery. After numerous e-mail ( still waiting for a reply )and endless phone calls I was put through so many different people ( waited over an hour) that I received a statement of my account saying of an amount that I owe them . My phone call was waisted as they still don't take any notice after I was promised that they have alter the correct amount now, but looking at my statement they still have not done anything to it . I am getting really piss off.
I am not going to pay them till they give me a statement with the correct amount that I owe them . Once they done that I won't be ordering anymore from this company Klarna.

they sent me a statement for something I paid for a month ago via paypal!
I received a letter this morning from a company named Klarna, claiming that I owe them money for an Item purchased via WISH and that I payed for last month via paypal. It states on the letter, "We didn't receive payment before the due date on your last statement." 1) I never did not receive any emails or letters before this one, So I had no prior statement. 2) I'd already paid for the item and have the paypal transaction to prove so. 3) They're threatening to add additional fees to something I've already paid for, If I don't pay for it AGAIN by Nov 25th 2015. I don't understand why I have received this letter or what to do about it. I have emailed Klarna customer explaining that this is a mistake, as I have already paid for my item and I have not received a reply. I have attached the transaction statement for the payment and covered my details for security reasons.
Its a scam people! Don't pay them money. If you have speak to the police and seek to recoup your money through insurance. Do not pay them money.

I bought contacts from www.lensstore.se in May 2015 . I got an invoice from Klarna.se sent to my e-mail and I payed for the product on time. A month later I get a mail from Segoria (SAME company as Klarna sitting in the SAME building) stating that I hadn't payed and wanted to charge me a debt collection fee and a late payment fee along with another payment for the contacts. And if I don't do it in 8 days the company would involve the enforcement authority. I checked my bank account and found out that I had written the plusgiro number wrong but the OCR reference number correct. I could not believe it, I seldom write my numbers wrong. But I had proof that I tried to pay cause I wrote the OCR number correctly and it even said lenstore.se. But Segoria, Klarna and Lensstore refuse to cooperate or show any understanding. I still had to pay double the amount for my contacts and I'm not sure if I'll ever get my money back from wherever I accidentally sent it. And on top of that lots of phone calls and wasted time. I am human, I make mistakes, but I did try to pay. I did not ignore the due date. Please guys, avoid e-stores that use Klarna e-payment. If you plan on opening up an e-store, save your business by not involving Klarna.
