Owner of latinaffairs.com Dating website Hans Dieter Mertes ripped me off for 8000 USD dollars in his Casalatina realestate scam. We made a deal for a partnership in a bed and breakfast via contracts drawn up by lawyer. He Dieter then took my money and others and bought himself a private house in the Dominican Republic with it instead. When I contacted him about our deal he blocked me and ignored my emails or phone calls. Hans Dieter Mertes is a German national living in the Dominican Republic who had applied for citizenship in Canada, but was denied after he had engaged in fraudulent activity in Canada as well.
I too got ripped off by Latinaffairs.com.I paid for their vip service but did not receive it.They just took my money
I paid 1000 dollars for his so called VIP service on his web site.I never got the VIP service he just ignored my emails.

Please stay away from latinaffairs and latinasinlove they are the same.This german charged me for 9months service but I booked for 3months.The profiles are not up to date.Do not waste your money.randy
Latinaffairs.com are aware of scam women on thier site. It says they "check" and know of the womens honesty But they DO NOT. A Maria Valdez of San Pedro was on there and was seeing many men from the USA at the same time. Telling all she wanted to marry them. She got money and Diamond engagements rings in a two year span, All the while she had a son with an American Diamond dealer who had a US visa for her while she was doing this scam in the D.R. I feel bad for all the people who lost money too, this woman cause alot of people emotional damage as well. Stay away from Latinaffairs. Avoid the SCAMS in D.R.

I've heard most of women on that site, are working girls, from up in Sosua, looking to scam men through Western Union, etc.
he is dead, another guy who used to work with him is using the web to get some money, ill be honest dont use [censor] website to date ladies and even if you get a girl or get married with one of those girls you better move them to your country they always have someone in the dominican while you send money they are in the island [censor] with others, dont be [censor] stupid theses girls just want the visa so they can have a better life not because they love u old guys.
So true . I got scammed also met a girl from Santiago brought her to America in 2014 with her 2 kids she got me for 40 thousand in debt . good part in divorce she owes me half which is more then the 8 thousand I owe her in alimony so she screwed herself. They all have boyfriends there and here already lined up. I learned the hard way but I got even reporting green card and marriage fraud
