Lexis Nexis is reporting auto insurance claims information not related to me, my prior or current insurance, nor my vehicles. These unrelated claims are driving the price of my insurance way up. I have contacted the insurance agencies involved in the claims and have confirmed with them that they show no claims against me, my prior or current insurance, nor my vehicles.
I have attempted to contact LexisNexis multiple times only to be referred on the phone to the website, and on the website to file a report which goes nowhere. As far as I can tell there is no way to actually dispute these reports that will get anything done. This is costing my money. I wonder if this is their standard practice and how many other people are getting ripped off due to this scam.
Desired outcome: I desire to have the reports be accurate and to be refunded for the additional insurance premiums that this company has cost me, not to mention the time I have had to put towards getting this corrected.
Hello, I am another person whose car insurance information is wrong. We lived in the same house for almost 20 years. They said we move around too often. My husband was a victim of a man hitting his vehicle. They say, "But it's on the record." Of course, it is. If someone hits you, the police are called. Hubby's record shows a police record when he was broad-sided in his truck. The other driver ran a stop sign. They should not be giving out incorrect information. I called, but no one will speak to you. This violates the Civil Rights and the Truth in Lending Act violation.
This is 100% their standard operating procedure. LexisNexis does not verify their report, includes and passes on unrelated, inaccurate and flat out false information. I have gone round and round with them on multiple occasions. This will not stop until there is a massive class action lawsuit. We are the ones who notice, have time to argue, and can wade through the nonsense to see what they are doing. Imagine all the people who have gotten are are currently being screwed because of this company's false reporting!
I just got off the phone with Lexis Nexis who state that there have been "A number of identities currently associated with input address". My husband and I had this house built and are the only owners for almost 21 years. Then it states on my report "No record of personal property ownership". I've owned 6 properties and have owned this house for going on 21 years and never rented it out, don't have children, no other individual living here. The property I owned prior to this was 15 years, etc. They robotically just keep saying that it in their report that is what was reported - over and over and have zero interest in helping you fix their incorrect information. Then in the same report it states my Credit Score is 864 but then below it says My Credit Optic Score is: 000 due to No data on consumer. This company is incompetent at best and their phone operators just read out their responses over and over with no intent in actually assisting you to resolve their misreporting. I'm so disappointed that USAA uses this horrible company to determine my insurance rates. We have a credit score in the 800's with not one ding in 50 years. I'm sure they don't care since it causes our rates to go up with safe driver and no accidents or tickets.
