The only complaint I have with Life Line is that when I had the "Know Your 5" Screening performed the morning of 10-12-2010, they requested my PCP's name, address, and phone number so that they could notify him of my test results. After seeing my Primary Care Physician the afternoon of 10-19-2010, I learned that he had not yet received those results. He would have preferred knowing the results during my office visit since I have been treated for high cholesterol a number of years. I offered to make a copy of the form which Life Line gave me and return it to his office after I returned home from my visit with him. Does Life Line actually forward the test results as they said, and if so, how long does it take to do so? You may contact me thru my e-mail address, [protected]@ymail.com. Thank you and have a blessed day! Shelia Landman

I was supposed to hear from Lifeline screening 21 days after my tests. I had my test on the 25th of May. It is now July 7, and I still haven't heard from them.
A friend had her screening on May 2nd and she hasn't heard from them either.

Unless I misread, you saw your doctor a week after the screening. Results were not to be ready for another several days. I don't think much of the screening, but let's be fair.

When my wife and I were contacted by Life Line Screening, we were told it would be $147 for each of us, for 5 tests each. We thought that it might be a good idea for the price. These were tests that our Primary Doctors do not perform each year during our annual check-ups. We went to the facility, and were questioned by a woman, and during the questioning she asked if we had MEDICARE. I stated that I was paying with my credit card (which was charged for the $147 for each of us). She stated that she still needed to see our Medicare cards. I assumed that was maybe to show that we were retired, so I gave her my Medicare card. WRONG! Months later in the year, I had my annual physical with my Physician, as always. Medicare had always taken care of this annual check up. NOT, this time! I later was billed by my doctor for the WHOLE AMOUNT charged for the annual physical! I called them and they stated the Medicare denied payment to my doctor because I had "already had a physical earlier" in the year! Turns out that Life Line Screening charged my Medicare for a "physical", even after charging my credit card for the 5 tests! So I was stuck with a charge of about $800 from my doctor, who worked with me once I explained what Life Line Screening had done. My point here is that Life Line Screening is dishonest about their charges. The woman out and out LIED to us about charging my Medicare! I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND LIFE LINE SCREENING! They are scamming Medicare recipients.
