I have been staying in Bahrain for almost 17 years. I have taken a Loyola Educational Plan last 8 years ago. I have given them the post dated cheques as the full payment of the educational plan for my daughter, which I thought the best way to get rid of the hassles of monthly remittance surcharge. Since then I have not heard from LPCI (Loyola Plans Consolidated Inc.) and I have been thinking that all I have to do is to wait for the maturity date for availment.

The time has come when I have asked Loyola Plans Consolidated Inc. for my full payment certificate and availment. They have informed me that I have been a delinquent payer and my educational plan was permanently cancelled. After several investigations, I have found out that one cheque was not encashed by LPCI which made my educational plan lapsed for several years. After paying more than P100, 000 Pesos, my educational plan has been permanently cancelled due to the missing cheque of 13, 000 Pesos.

Although the fault is from their negligence in handling the payment, they should have informed me through my address, telephone no and e-mail address. However, they have just kept quiet and let my educational plan lapsed. And up to now, I have difficulty in retrieving what I have paid as pre-need for my daughter’s educational assistance simply because I am in Bahrain. They have ignored my request to pay the missing 13, 000 Pesos to avail the P300, 000 Pesos educational assistance for my daughter and no action has been taken till now.

I am looking for several ways to raise this complain up to the higher management of LPCI and help me to avail the educational assistance for my daughter.

This is to inform your office that linda bulan (insurance agent, tuguegarao, cagayan valley branch) had been delaying the processing othe educational benefits due this school year june/2015. She is unable to contact by phone or email. I'm not sure if she wants to be given something again(cash), as there was an instance last year when she asked for cash to expedite the processing of said educational benefits. She is a disgrace to the insurance industry.

This is Lyndon Jo from Siquijor. I would like to follow up the release of my educational benefits for this school year for my two children amounting to P12, 500 each (a total of P 25, 000 for this semester) which I have not received until now. I am supposed to receive the 3rd and 4th year of my educational benefits for my two children. In the past years, they always send it on the 1st week of June but this year there's nothing. What happened?

So disappointed with Loyola Plans. We have 2 fully-paid education plans with them. During the 1st 2 years of availment (2012 & 2013), we received our checks on time (April, our maturity date) and didn't encounter any problems. However, on the 3rd year (2014), they implemented a 35-day delay (not sure why) so instead of April, we got our checks in June, which was already late for 1st semester enrollment. This year, I was told to make a follow-up on June 15. I kept trying to get in touch with Loyola for the next 2 weeks but the lines were either always busy, got disconnected, or the operator got my contact details (on 3 separate occasions!) but no CS rep bothered to call me. Anyway, my call finally got through yesterday, June 29, and I was able to talk to a CS rep, who later informed me that instead of being able to get my checks after 35 days, the schedule of release is November 17! Unbelievable! Why will it take us now 7 months to get our checks? By November 17, 2nd semester would have already started! She gave me that info via text. When I texted her again asking why, she didn't reply anymore.

I believe that as planholders, we are entitled to know why this is happening. We availed of these education plans so that we will have ready funds in time for our children's enrollment. Now Loyola is forcing us to come up with the tuition fee ourselves -- and twice! -- because the checks are delayed not just for the 1st semester but for the 2nd semester as well! Do we really deserve this kind of treatment after having already paid the full amount for our plans?

I already emailed them (ncpacis@loyolaplans.com), still awaiting their reply.

Just read comments here and I was surprised to read especially the last one from MrsR67. Now, I am so worried too to what I will expect from Loyola Plans as I also got matured TP last June 10, 2015. Yes, two(2) weeks delayed from their given policy of 35 processing/working days. When I visited yesterday(because nobody cares to answer the phone, just an answering machine keep on ringing), the customer care rep. wast told me to follow-up for the 2nd week of August. Yes, you read it right, follow-up and not the expected release of my check. In fact I was filed my availment earlier last April 15, 2015 as advised by customer care rep. last year, expecting that the delay of releasing will be on time or should be lessen. It is due to the fact that I already experience delayed last year for almost 2 months.

Now, I asked the customer care rep. why it should have take that long to release a matured check as it is long overdue? She answered me that it's their Accounting who process the check but without looking at me. Being a customer I think I had a right to know what exactly the reason why, but it seemed the customer care rep. doesn't care to answer straightly and in honesty. Basically I felt something are going wrong but I do hope they are not hiding something to the public. I can accept honest reason why they should delay the releasing rather than no reason at all.

Now, I am thinking what are the problems LOYOLA had? Are we still safe from them in terms of return of our investment or benefits after paying of premiums and waiting the maturity comes? I do hope LOYOLA PLANS cares to have an honest answers to customer who are asking. I do believe that GOOD Customer Care will result of GOOD return from clients.

Ako po c Genya N. Querubin... from Lucent city pls. Loyola head office... March 29, 2015 pa ung maturity date ng plan ko for my son Derick N. Querubin.. malapit na ang 2nd Sem. But until now wala paring issue check.. Ano po b yan.. para p.o. yan sa pag aaral ng anak ko.. zero age ang anak ko ng kinuha ko ung plan... now he is 17yrs. Old na... palagi na lang b follow up.. baka next yr.mas delay pa ang mangyari... plss.. response naman po need na para naman po mapakinabangan na..

I think we (payors) have the same issues regarding our claims. Things are really getting out of hand with LPCI, i think its better to inform the media regarding this issue, they can't even explain why our claim or release of our own fund needs to be delayed for no such reason and keep saying the same thing that the problem is with their accounting department that's why they can't provide us any serious explanation or even bother to get in touch with any single person regarding this matter...

I am Roy Michael S. Galarosa, , , , , , in behalf of my mother Mrs. Corazon S. Galarosa, , , i am Lodging a complain for my educational plan .
She started paying lasdt May 21, 1999, , and finished it last June 30, 2004...But all the while she didn't recieved the money for my education.
I stopped schooling because of that, , , , you people there, , destroyed my dreams of becoming a professional, , , Now do you want me guys to work in a sugarcane hacienda where in fact my parents put that hard earned money for me in your good company so that i can have a good education so that i can earn also good money for my future family.
She paid the whole educational plan so where is the problem come ? Can you please explain and let me know about it. I still want to go back to school...HELP...Thank you very much and GOD bless you all.

I'd like to add to this complaint. I was supposed to see my check deposited into my savings account last July, 2015. In a few hours, it will be September, and I'm still waiting for it. There was no problem with the previous years, the checks were deposited a few days after I talked to Mr. Chris Lumapat in the Cebu office. But this year 2015, I've talked to Mr. lumapat, emailed him many times begging him for the check. He responded to my several emails only once and only to say I have to wait. Wait for what? Loyola knows these checks are due on certain dates so why the delay? Is this now the modus operandi of Loyola?

I posted comments here last 27th of July 2015 for my supposedly claims for the matured TP dated June 10, 2015. My last visit of 2nd week of August as promised was really unpleasant. When I was called, I am expecting the released of my cheque unfortunately it wasn't. The biggest surprised ever to me was, the manager(forget the name) told me that the scheduled released of all matured plans with June 2015 maturity from Loyola is on March 2016. The "HECK", you read it right we have to wait for 9 long months for the release of our CHEQUE.

I hope this site be read by the authority like IC. I guess they had the authority to know the status of Loyola really was. Also, to assure the public for safety in terms of investing our hard earned money.

I am MercY Guevarra..I was very shocked with all that I've read in all your comments.I wasn't expected that this will also happen in Loyola, thinking that their company is very stable. Last year 2014 my 1st claim for the educational plan of my daughter was okay.They paid it after 35days..And for the 2nd claim it was matured last July 05, 2015, before the said date I already filed in the Makati office, but they said to come back after 35days for scheduled of releasing of cheques. Then they gave me a phone numbers (landline & cellphone) to follow up on august 28..It took me so hard to contact them.So last friday, at last I was able to contacted them, and only they said to call again this week..Upon calling them hardly at last I contacted them only today Someone answered my call named Annabelle and she told me that the schedule release date of my cheque is on June 2, 2016...WTF..it will take 11mos for me to wait..Its too late for the 1st sem & 2nd sem for [protected] schoolyr..I got that timeplan to be able to have an assistance to my child's tuition fee for college. Paying it religiously for 5years..And now it will happen these?
Please Loyola Plans, can you please give it to me early as possible...I have a certificate of full payment and all the receipts of my payments for 5yrs..Dont let your client do legal action in your company..it takes 17yrs to mature the said plan..You should be ready about it...

I visited Loyola office at 4/F Cebu Holding Center Cebu Business Park last July 2015 to claim our Educational Plan for our daughter. The only officer on duty was Mr. Chris Lumapat. He told me that the money might be released later. But until now we have not receive the said amount. I was given a list of Loyola staff (Cebu and Manila main office) with corresponding numbers. I tried calling ALL the numbers but nobody is answering my calls. May I know what is happening? When can I get the amount due for us?

We are claiming the amount of 65000 as a beneficiary of my late relative, since july. But until now (oct)they keep on telling us to follow up in the main branch. We contacted the main branch but, they told us to follow up the local branch. Where is the money? Are we playing hide and seek her?

It seems that there is really a problem with loyola in issuing or giving back the benefits from its customers. We also experience this kind of dilemma. Its now almost 3 months since the maturity of our timeplan, yet till now, there is no update from their accounting department with regards to the claim our cheque. We are totally dissapointed with their service.

This is so pathetic! I think this should now be brought to the attention of the insurance commission or whatever national agency that oversees the operations of insurance companies. I started having problems with availing of the benifits, proceeds from educational plan i contracted with LESI for my son, last year . Normally, i used to get the check on the maturity date, around the third week of September. Since their Baguio office has been closed, i had to go down to Dagupan City for updates. I was told by the lone staff that checks are issued 35 working days from date of maturity.Imagine that! While we were charged for late premium payments, we are being made to wait at no extra cost to the company! Adding to the misery is all the contact numbers of the dagupan branch and the main office are 'NOT AVAILABLE', busy, UNATTENDED, OUTSIDE THE COVERAGE AREA, or, in short, perennially INUTILE!
This is a sign that LOYOLA is already going under, and i won't be surprised if the news reads 'LOYOLA FOLDING UP' sooner than all the clients expected. Those 'CANCELLED PLANS DUE TO UNENCASHED CHEQUE PAYMENTS' in favor of the company is just a ploy to avoid payments by LOYOLA. Clearly, there is something fishy and the general public should be forewarned to steer away from this insurance company to save them from falking victims.
Perhaps, LOYOLA should advice its staff to be very presentable to at least look good on screen and on papers when media gets wind of this.

My sister is also a planholder of this LCPI. Releasing of checks for 2 educational plans for my niece and nephew were still ok last year though little bit delay but tolerable..till this LONG DELAYED and OVERDUE of payments came this year 2015.. We were suppose to received the checks by May 2015 bec we need the money for the enrollment ika -nga EDUCATIONAL PLAN but till now wala pa din still after how many times we went to their office in Loyola Davao Branch. Its already semestral break and soon 2nd semester will be there and enrollment time again.. I complained and urge the staff to call and email their head office in Manila why it takes so much time to release the money wherein the planholders payed religiously and on time? The Loyola Davao Branch said that she emailed couple of times already and followed-up all my concerns and the concerns of other planholders as well but the head office in Manila doesnt respond her email? Kung ang branch staff nila binalewala, pano ang planholders mag follow-up? Attention to the AVP for Provincial Sales&Marketing Mr. Arnel Lacorte. I believe it is your responsibility to address these issues in your area of responsibility..eh sabi ng staff nyo nka-base ka sa Manila Head Office at bihira ka lng sumilip dito sa Davao? Because of these problems, my niece and nephew might stop going to school this incoming semester...the kids dont deserve this thing to
happen in their lives.. Please release the money now. Not next year or whatsoever.

Loyola Customer service sent me a message thru text. It says that the release of our cheque would be next year September 2016. Our time plan matured this June 2015. What kind of company is this. They should be charged with the delay and damage they had caused to their customers.

I am Sonia Siasat, I have my Time Plan matured last Aug. 4, 2015 (2nd year); I was advised by Loyola Office in Tomas Morato, Quezon City to follow up check at Makati Head Office on Oct. 13, 2015. Last year, they also advised to follow up (approx) 60 calendar days from date of claim and we were able to receive our first cheque as committed by Loyola Tomas Morato Office. However, this year (2015), they advised us that all follow ups and pick up of checks shall be made at Loyola Makati Office. I was surprised when I called up on Oct. 13, 2015, (after several attempts) at Loyola Makati Office; the Customer Service advised to wait for the following week and I shall receive an advice as to when my check will be released. This morning, Oct. 19, 2015, Loyola Office texted me and advised that I may expect release on Sept. 16, 2016. I was very surprised because I expected delays but not this long. What will happen to my 3rd, 4th and succeeding checks which will be due every August 4th? What seems to be happening with Loyola Plans Consolidator's Inc.? I just hope that they will give an acceptable explanation to their plan holders and give reasonable lead time as regard to releasing of check. I hope that they extend their understanding that their plan holders highly rely on them since we have chosen Loyola whom we have trusted to invest the little money we had.

I would like to post my disappointment with LOYOLA EDUCATIONAL SYSTEMS INC. that during the time that they convinced us to avail yhere educational plan, masyado silang sincere about there services kung mag mature na ang plan, then during paying period napaka strict nila sa due date pag nag mintis ka pinagbabayad ka ng penalty, ganyan sila ka dominant, tapos ngayun nag mature na at tayo na ang maniningil sa benifits natin sila na naman nagpabaya, sabi pa nila noon na ang loyola is the most consevative among the others, kaya nga nag trust kami, pero ngayun hindi pala sila sicere sa lahat nilang pangako, kaya nga kumuha kami ng educational plan para to ease our burden, sa totoo pala lalo pala sila nagdagdag sa mga burdens namin, they had broken our trust to them, they"re doin injustice to us, sana pinag time deposit nalang namin yung pera, gusto ko sana pag nag release na nang check ibigay nalang lahat ng benifits sqa buo na payment hanggang sa huli para wala ng problema. I HOPE THAT THE MANAGEMENT OF LOYOLA WILL ADHERE AND TAKE ACTION REGARDING WITH OUR NEEDS AS A PLAN HOLDER,

Same problem here. I submitted application for 2nd availment last Sept 2015. The woman who assisted me at Loyola Makati Branch wrote on the paper that the confirmed release date of my check was October 20, 2015. I asked her three times if it was a sure thing (our first availment took 3 months), and she said yes. Now I made a follow-up since the release date has passed, and I received a text saying that my check isnt ready, and that they are following a schedule of release by next year (2016) na. I was like, WTH? hindi pa yung oct, 20 yung bingay na schedule na nga para sa akin? anong sinasabi na they're following a schedule pa? Na hindi naman ako nainform na may iba pa palang schedule na sinusunod. Nakakairita. I will drop by their Makati branch tomorrow.

I'm a single mom and I am expecting my 2nd check last Oct.24, 2015. I have no problem claiming my 1st check last year. So, before going to their office to get the check, I called the office from 8AM up to 5PM. WALANG SUMAGOT! Had a VERY HARD time calling them. Since I am from Cavite, I need to call using my mobile phone. The following day may sumagot na din. And the girl who assisted me told me na June 2016 ko pa makukuha 2nd check ko! Ang laking abala na pupunta at tatawag sa office nyo tapos walang makukuha! WTH happened to my son's educational plan? Diretsahin nyo nlang sana kami na LUGI NA KAYO para alam namin dapat na susunod naming gagawin.

This is a follow-up on my post. I went to their Makati/Arnaiz branch to personally follow-up my check dahil yung nagrereply sa text ko was telling me na next year pa magiging available ang check ko. But luckily, I got my check naman. Hindi ko na binanggit doon sa nag-assist sa akin about the reply I got when I inquired through text, but yung isang nakasabay ko na dapat Oct 27, 2015 ang release nya, binabalik sya ng June 2016 nga. The weird part here is yung check na nakuha ko is dated July 24, 2015, samantalang nag-file ako for availment ng Sept 2015. I am thankful na nakuha ko na yung check, but I also feel for those na hindi pa nila nakukuha. As planholders who have religiously followed the due dates when we paid our premiums, dapat kapag kelangan na natin yung pera wag naman tayong papahirapan.

May nakasausap rin ako na ang sabi depende raw sa amount na makukuha at sa date ng maturity ng plan ang sked ng cheke. Pero unfair pa rin ito. Sana mabigyan ng pansin talaga ng management ng Loyola Plans ito. Before pala ako, may nauna nang nakapagclaim ng check na worth 340k.

This matter should be brought up to media. I fully paid my pension plan 5 yrs. ago and maturity ends last yr. Aug 2014 but haven' t heard anything from Bacolod Office about the release of my checque.

I just want to know the status of my edu plan. I had received my first claim last Feb. 2014 but that is for the period of Nov. 28, 2013. But until now i haven't receive yet the second claim and by this time the third claim should also be release. Bakit po nagkaganito ang company ninyo, i trusted Loyola, kaya sa inyo ako kumuha ng edu plan. Sana naman ma aksyonan ninyo ang problem ko about it. I need it badly, malapit na magraduate ang anak ko. Thank you and good day.

guys kagagaling kp lang sa loyola sdu plan office last dec.5 and yes this company is really pain, kailangan daw 35 working days after maturity date magfollow up after that mag antay ulit ng 1 month at dipa sigurado kung makuha yong check, nagbigay sila ng numbers na matawagan kasi nagreklamo ako na naglagay sila ng number sa website di naman makontak ito mga numbers baka sakali makatulong sa pagfollow up ninyo DIRECT LINE:840-5644 always put 632 TRUNK LINE:817-0000/892-6061 LOC 111 look for nimfa/beth cp:[protected]/[protected] (call only) [protected] (text only) yan mga binigay nila sa akin kasi di daw updated ang nasa website so mga gustong kumuha ng edu plan and etc.maghanap nalang kayo ng mas mabuting company dito puro problema.

CHAPTER VII CLAIMS SETTLEMENT
SEC. 26. Payment of Plan Proceeds. – In the case of scheduled benefit plans, the proceeds of the plan shall be paid immediately upon maturity of the contract, unless such proceeds are made payable in installments or as an annuity, in which case the installments or annuities shall be paid as they become due. Refusal or failure to pay the claim within fifteen (15) days from maturity or due date will entitle the beneficiary to collect interest on the proceeds of the plan for the duration of the delay at the rate twice the legal interest unless such failure or refusal to pay is based on the ground that the claim is fraudulent: Provided, That the planholder has duly complied with the documentary requirements of the pre-need company

I've been making follow up at your Ayala Cebu office and later on at Lapu-lapu office but to no avail. I was told to call your Manila office through the telephone numbers your Cebu office has provided me. Still, it doesn't help because the phone just keeps on ringing. Since I'm in dire need of funds to finance the college education of my children, i humbly ask to who ever is the incharge for the check preparation to expedite the release of the said availment checks.

Good day! This is Rochelle with CN#[protected]-3. I would like to follow up the check status of educational claims of my son who is in 1st year college. Last August 2015 pa na-forward sa Lucena Branch c/o Ms. Cris/Ms. Dorcas ang requirements na kailangan for the said claims. Nag-fo-follow up na ako ng October 2015 and mag-follow up din daw ako ng December 19, 2015 sa Lucena office nila. Then, this January nag-follow up ako thru e-mail and then they mentioned na closed na ang Lucena branch at mag-follow up na sa Head Office nila sa Makati. Nagbigay sila ng e-mail address at contact nos. pero walang response sa email. Nag text walang reply, wala ring sagot if tinatawagan ang contact nos. Nagbigay pa ng mga contact eh di rin naman ma-contact. Ang worry ko kasi if pupunta pa ng Head Office nila sa Makati ay baka wala rin namang makausap. Eh from Quezon pa kami, isang malaking abala at gastos din naman. Okay lang sana if sure na may makakausap at makakapag-follow up ay kung wala rin. Sayang ang time at effort. Hopefully magkarun naman ng response ang Loyola sa mga queries natin kasi we badly needed na ang claims natin kasi ang hirap mag-follow up ng walang kasiguruhan.

Good evening po loyola plan! ipa follow up ko lang po yong check ni rowena amparado, leonila sabitsana at romualda mecaydor. mam october po yong availment period namin bakit po hanggang ngayon wala pa check na dumating. may office paba kau sa febu kasi yong mga no. sa office nyo wala na pong sumasagot. ano na bang nangyari sa mga office niyo bakit nagka. ganito na yong mga plan holders bay di na cla maka tanggap ng mga check na dapat sa amin nman yan bat ayaw ninyong ibigay. gusto ba kayong ipasuri nman yong office nyo kong may kakayahan pa bang maka pagbayad sa mga plan holders nyo. salamat sana ma aksyonan ninyo agad.

I wanted to share my experience with Loyola Plans, we have a Loyola Timeplan contracts and the first one matured last September 2014. My family is based in California so I started calling Loyola's Makati office since last year before the maturity date and I never really got a person who answered their line line will just ring continuously . I was able to get contacts through email nag re-reply din naman sila pero kadalasan malayo ang sagot sa tinatanong ko because we are out of the country I was asking for requirements if someone else will withdraw for us, bago nagkalinaw ang prosesso nila it took a month of back and forth emails. I needed to update daw the information on file so we can get our certificate of full payment which we were not able to take care of which will take several weeks the good thing about them is that they were accepted emailed information and forms. So one month daw yung Certificate of Full Payment and after one month hindi pa daw ready. Nagkataon na yung Mommy ko umuwi ng Pilipinas nang November para magbakasyon pinuntahan niya yung Makati head office ang dami daw nakapila outside and inside habang naka Viber kami she was able to obtain all of the certificate of Full payment except 1 yung nag mature na. They told us 35 working days from November we will receive our check which so right now waiting game kami. We know a few people na dumiretso na sa Insurance Commission daw and they were able to get their check faster, nakausap na namin yung Loyola agent namin na matagal nang wala sa Loyola and yung mga binentahan daw niya wala pa ding nakukuha puro next year daw which is 2016. So please keep the feedback coming para makuha natin talaga ang tunay na kalagayan ng Loyola, kasi we still have 5 more contracts to go, unang contract pa lang mukhang malabo nang makaKolekta.

Same with us .. I have 2 fully paid plans from LESI. for my children. Supposed to be receiving it starting lApril 2015... Since they closed down the regional office here in Cebu City, it is hard for us to contact nor visit the manila office . LESI office numbers in manila can not be contacted. We are wondering as to what happen to our investment plan
