This is a chain of Car Mechanics who operate under the guise of a national chain. In reality, the mechanics that carry out the work are ### scammers! Stay away from these guys!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I had $3K worth of work done on my Kia Carnival which had been running fine until it needed a new clutch. It had done only 124thousand km and was a great car so I decided to spend the money and get the clutch done, new timing belts and back brakes. The car never sounded right and after getting the guy back twice was told he could do any more 'free' work! within days on a very busy highway the motor blew. I have asked and asked and complained and complained but it went from oh its just a coincidence to well it needed a service we told you that (seriously an 87dollar service would have prevented my car blowing up? why wouldnt they have explained this or for $3K just done it?) then it got ugly and I was told well they dont know that there was nothing wrong with the motor it was just my word! I am so very angry still. This was January 2014 and I was in Bannockburn, Queensland. I am paying off work to a car that is useless to me, I cant afford it and I cannot, nor does anyone I speak to, believe that a car that had no engine problems blows up within two weeks of major work is not related to that work. It sounded wrong from the start and I asked repeatedly about it as it worried me. I am planning on going to the motor commission or Ombudsman or Fair trade re this but simply havent had the time and the stress of all this has been crazy. I am hoping that I can find an Executive response to my complaints first. Trouble is I cant seem to find any way to complain I cant find any Board of directors CEO anyone?
