I wanted to formally file a complaint regarding the handling of the Whitewood Apartment complex. Several of the tenants have tried to follow the proper protocols by going directly to the property manager, but issues have been left unresolved.
Below is a list of some of the issues I am aware of from multiple tenants:
1. Outside storage unit and car port were destroyed during the storm the week of 8/21/23. Several requests for replacement have been submitted with no response and when it was brought to the maintenance's attention, the property manager chastised tentant for asking him for a status update. Not only is this an inconvenience to tenant who is paying rent, it is also an eye sore for residents and future tenants.
2. Several tenants have reported washer and dryer issues that too, have been not addressed. Attempts to follow up have fallen on death ears.
3. Reports for other appliances have been submitted (i.e. refrigerator) and ignored.
4. The property manager is rude and unprofessional when dealing with the tenants and is not accessible to the tenants during regular business hours.
Desired outcome: Issues reported be resolved in a respectful and professional manner. An alternate property manager be available to deal with. No retaliation from the current property manager from being reported.
