After applying to their services online a received a phone call from them wanting to book me in for a test shoot to see if I would be suitable for their books as a mature model.
I parted with a £50 deposit to cover the cost if I didn't show up which I though was fair enough and was told that if something came up just to drop them a line and they would refund it for me.
I then did a bit more research online and found out that although the test shoot is free that they will then corner you into buying the portfolio at anything up to £1200 or else you would not be able to progress further.
Needless to say I decided against that as I could hardly afford the deposit at this stage. When I tried to cancel in good time with them they told me that they would be issuing no refund even though they had told me that I could do so. Conveniently when I tried to called the same guy I had spoken to he didn't answer or return any of my voicemails... Funny that!
Absolutley do not take this path if you are thinking about modelling work!
You should not have to part with any money and these are people out to get as much as they can from you. Do not be fooled
I have also been approached in regard to my son, upon looking further they just seem to be a photo shoot, I've sent a retraction of payment and also to my bank who have now notchiched up as scam . As i sent payment of 50 to them today i know I'm within right to retract as i never clicked the confirm e-mail.. Now just waiting for their reply. Will keep all channels open on this, but will be there anyway on my date to forewarn prospective parents/adults etc.. This is just a gimmick to pull you in to buying more pics and needless info. After looking into this, my best advice for modelling is be natural and send your own C.V most agents just know if its good or not . Anyway wish me well on my path to exposing these horrid people, and don't part with no money for just a photo shoot...
