This company is absolutely the worst place to start a career with. Please as a salesmen, that has had several years of sales experience and then made myself go through the whole "training process" to make sure I was right...DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING AFTER THE OFFER SHEET!

This company, Marcus Evans, or whatever they call themselves is really consisted of constant turnover of recent college graduates mixed in with some "assitant managers" who are really glorified good telemarketing salesmen. The "training process" or in Lamens terms 3 day brain washing phase is really just the "Regional Director" or "Sales Director" spewing bull #2 about a sales process that is really just a professional telemarketing ploy. They mix in "producers" and "assistant managers" which both do not make sense because a true producer does not come up with an idea on how to make a new summit plan or conference plan or etc... they actually freaking produce and manage something like a movie or a play or etc... And really, what is an "assistant manager?" All they really are "sales delegates" (please realize they never call you account executives or even junior a.e., because you really are not one) that are truly glorified because they stuck with the company, now make horrible money and basically banter on about drunken dazes or some stupid ### because they are pathetic and have no true careers.

They will tell you that the sales process, if followed, will lead you to success. Now that is bull shnoswer because if all of their testimonials which are complete crap is true? Then why are they always trying to hire new people, if they only need 30 people on their conference or which ever sector of their company they hire you at to work? Lamen terms= sales process in 3 days + you good salesman/woman+ find DM's+ sales pitch= many $$$$$$$

If so, why the high turnover rate? Are you really telling me that there are that many people who suck at sales, or is it really that even when you exceed your minimum of $12, 000 in sales/month you still are only pulling in $39, 000/ year. Now recent college grads that is when you exceed that minimum, if you do not and most do not you are closely looking at $31, 000 and that is without taxes taken out. If you can average just under $2, 600/month before taxes you are making around $16/hr... minus traveling costs, unless you walk, you are really talking about less than $30, 000 before taxes... In all, it is not worth it!

Really, from all the experience I had on the sales training, it is just a telemarketing job for top executives. That is all I learned from the sales training. The sales director might be very articulate and know what she is talking about but that is because she has worked with this company for years upon years. She knows what to say to you just like she knew what to say talking to "Goldman Sachs" VP's in her days of "sitting where you sat" crap talk. Just remember, those "assistant managers" make money of of you... this is one very top heavy organized pyramid scheme. Look at the promotion structure, they hire within because they already have you regimented to their company standards... the only problem with that is their company standards are unethical and just wrong!

Please beware!
