Basically They Are Spammers
Nearly no one wants their services and so they resort to sketchy spammer tactics. They spoof their numbers to make them look local, which is a scamner tactic and call constantly and continue to call even after you've told them you are not interested. I don't want nor need anyone to come into my home. Most feel the same way.
I have all the doctors I need, can go to the local patient services if my doctor is not available, and can have a tele-visit with my own doctors if needed.
Their services are not wanted nor needed by the majority of people so they are separate to force their services on you and shame on our insurers for wasting money and invading our privacy by giving out our personal information. That's got to be a violation of HIPPA laws!
Recommendation: Never answer your phone for numbers you don't recognize especially local appearing numbers!

Matrix Medical has called & harassed me too many times to count, on my home phone on my cell phone nearly every day for the past several weeks to a month, even on Sunday. My insurance company *** is going to get an ear full as to why they gave my info to these creeps! *** has no business doing this to their paying customers like myself. Matrix uses their name on their caller ID & the phone numbers are stolen from actual neighbors of mine so of course then I answer only to find out it isn't my neighbor at all but it is Matrix. I'm shocked that my insurance company has given my private info to these scammers, so bad there should be a lawsuit by someone to stop this kind of *** from going on...

Hi, I was scheduled for my 3rd yearly home visit from Matrix as a service offered through Aetna. Previously the nurse would come, do vitals, review medications and blood work, ask if I had any concerns, and then she would be on her way. I don't really need this service but I figured it was harmless so I schedule it. The last nurse that came did her thing and then started talking strangely. She made several anti semetic remarks, said the Jews wanted to control the world, that our driver's licence was a contract to sell our identity and our soul. It was very disturbing. I did not call to complain because she has my address.
This company relentlessly calls me to schedule a 'healthy home visit'. They are very aggressive about it. Will not take no for an answer. I had one of their 'visits' about 10 years ago and will never have another one. Seem to be more interested is getting your protected health information and passing it on to the insurance company. They are just as big a scam as all the other predators targeting seniors now.
I was contacted within two weeks of having my insurance. Sad part, the representative said she was sending an in-home health nurse to conduct an assessment. First off, she did not ask, she told.Secondly, she laughed at me throughout the call as I would not allow to her to demand a visit. She said I didn't listen to her. I understood her perfectly well. Thirdly, telling someone they are sending a stranger to your home is not good practice at all. I called my insurance and was validated about my concerns. It is a service for those who are not seen on a regular basis by their a PCP.

I received a call 1st time today and they said they worked with care source and it was time for my home visit. I said no I've had *** for awhile and have NEVER HEArd of this, Insulting my intelligence cuz I new the real reason they were calling because my caseworker thinks I'm lying bout my address so they contracted this company to try and set me up catch me in a lie about my residency. I was irrate they tried to come to my home under false pretenses. Theryare investigation for insurance, odjfs, etc, etc. I'm taking this as far as the president I'm it's disgusting, disturbing, and overbearing don't believe nothing these people say they were sicked on you to investigate. After I got done with them my blood pressure was 164/113
They are rude. The woman the woman *** wouldn't allow me to speak to a supervisor.very deceiving and unsettling .
I got a call from a Matrix Medical Network representative who tried to convince me to have an at-home visit. I confirmed that they do work for or with (not sure which) my health insurance company and many others. Their services may be beneficial to people who can't get out to see their doctors, however, their high pressure approach is a tad unscrupulous. So they aren't a scam. I'm happy to say I currently don't need home visits, or another company recording my personal info. If I need home visits in the future I hope for other options.
Called me several weeks ago, saying Humana had instructed them to call me for in home visit. Had just had Dr *** with a scheduled 6 month appt. Asked them to be taken off their call list.Received additional call last week with same scam. Expressed my displeasure as I had asked to be taken off list and did not need or want a visit. Contacted my Dr and they said they did not instruct them to call and no reason for additional visit.Need to have them take me off their list and not call me again. If they call me again I will have my attorney intiate harrasment charges.
I believe this was the 3rd call from "House Calls" with a hidden number
I believe this was the 3rd call from "House Calls" with a hidden number. The message was:"Hi, I'm calling from Matrix Medical Network on behalf of Ambetter from Superior Health Plan. Preventative care is vital for healthy living, which is why we want to discuss a valuable service provided at no cost by Ambetter. Please call our toll-free number or the number on your caller ID between 8 AM and 11 PM Eastern Time to talk to our member relationship coordinators." This is a nuisance. I am on the do-not-call registry, and these calls are not allowed. Moreover, I doubt "House Calls" complies with the new law.

I'm going to ignore their calls and letters. Thanks.I don't need their services. It's just more work for me.
They called and stated that they were calling 'on behalf' of my insurance company and that I was 'due' for an at-home healthcare visit and tried to get me to immediately set up an appointment. This was one week AFTER I had just had a physical with my Doctor. They start out the call by strongly suggesting that you 'need' to set up an appointment. This is just an outside medical company who has purchased patient lists from somewhere and is trying to get you to set up an appointment so they can charge the insurance company and potentially commit fraud. They are nothing but a scam. Do not make an appointment with them.
I received a letter from caresource informing me that some one from this company will contact me. With that being said, I definitely don't think they're scam. Due to the fact that I can't always talk to my doctor in a timely manner, I may give them a try.

it is criminal for my insurance company- ***- top have given my medical information out to this annoying, idiotic, relentless outfit. They call frequently - the line they call from is echoing with fifty other voices similarly on the line to other people whom they are trying to push their services upon. When I have spoken to them I have explained that I do NOT want their services - I'm fully on top of all my health needs and they should stop pestering me. As I write this *** , supposedly, is calling them to have me put on MATRICES' (that's matrix plural - I'm a math geek) DoNut call list. MATRIX is not doing *** any good - as a prior comment leaver pointed out , apparently they try to arrange the most expensive possible array of procedures and tests for the client.

I received a call stating they were calling on behalf of my insurance and needed to schedule a healthy visit/at home visit. When I asked if they were with my health plan, they said "on behalf". I stated I was not interested and disconnected the call. I do not trust a medical company that is cold calling to get patients. I am contacting my insurance to find out if they know how this company got my number.
Matrix has a contract with Aetna to do wellness visits and the visits are voluntary. Their representatives have called over the years and have been push; and will not accept your refusal to accept their voluntary services. I personally dislike the hard sale of the company. It feels patronizing "we know best" attitude.
They absolutely are dishonest about their intentions. They will not take no for an answer, which is abusive. I called and it took three times for them to finally listen me when I said add me to your do not call list.I am marking my calendar with this date and time and if they call back after the time it takes me to get on there do not call list I am reporting them.
Everything went smoothly for me unlike those who left the negative reviews. I got a call from Matrix saying I was due for a telehealth wellness visit and they were calling on behalf of my health insurance which is commonwealth care alliance. I did my telehealth wellness visit and all went well. (The main reason I did it is because they will give you a free $25.00 gift card of your choosing if you complete the visit.) So I let my insurance company know that I completed the visit and they'll call me in *** that scammers have been giving matrix a bad name by pretending to be matrix and asking for personal information. So I called my insurance company and asked them if the call I got was truly legitimate and they said just to be safe they would forward me to the real matrix line, so I can schedule my telehealth wellness visit and get the gift card. So if you read negative reviews it's because they were scammed by a fake matrix company. Always hang up and call your health insurance and tell them about the call you got and they will point you in the right direction...now I better get this gift card or my review will change lol.
Glad I came here to check on Matrix Medical Network
Glad I came here to check on Matrix Medical Network. The rep that I spoke to was extremely rude and condescending, talking to me like I was an idiot because I would not provide my name or information. Then continued to request me to validate information they had on file. In fact, the call wasn't even for me, but my *** She wanted me to provide information about her. Wouldn't tell me what the visit was for, just an assessment? When I handed over the phone to my husband, she pressed him for information again and again. She heard me in the background tell me not to validate or provide any of his mom's info. She came back and said, "I know you don't want to cuz your wife is telling you not to, but we need this information." Umm, no you don't! H no you are not getting any information. Sad that as a company these are the tactics you go through to get clients? Wow.

After several unanswered calls to my elderly mother, I started receiving these calls myself on her behalf (I am listed as a secondary contact on her medical records). The person I spoke to only mentioned that this was for the scheduling of an " Aetna" health home visit. At no point did she mention anything about this being a third party-initiated call and that it was not requested by Aetna. I realize that companies sell our personal information all the time, but shouldn't our personal medical information be held to a higher standard of profit abuse? Taking advantage of the elderly should never be considered an honorable business model. Question for Matrix Medical Network - Although this practice appears to be legal isn't the act of reaching out directly to patients under the false pretense that the visit is approved and authorized by the patient's primary care provider a bit unethical? I would also imagine that a great majority of these visits are unnecessary and add the types of additional costs that make our health care premiums unaffordable by so many of our US citizens.

I received an unsolicited email from these people, I assume meant for someone else, to confirm an appointment that I knew nothing about nor would have wanted. Getting the phone number from here, I contacted them and told them they had my email address either in error or fraudulently and that I wanted MY email address removed from their system. In the email itself, the email address was BCC'd so I couldn't even see it was to my address - or a *** variation - and seemed like a bulk email sent to who knows how many people. There was no salutation in the email itself either. They told me on the phone that they had noone from my phone number on their list (obviously, as I have no, and do not want, a relationship with this company at all) and had no way to search their system via email address, which is highly suspect considering that was the way they sent out the email. Either they have incredibly poor internet hygiene and cybersecurity, or they do this often and have very poor customer service. Their answer to their mistake was for me to unsubscribe to something I never subscribed to.

Today is 8/25
Today is 8/25. I have an appointment set for tomorrow 8/26, sometime between 8 am and 5 pm. It is now 2 pm CST and I still do not know WHEN my 2 hour window is for my appointment tomorrow. I have called the customer service center 3 times to find out the appointment window, only to be told that someone will call me later in the day. I have waited by the phone all day this afternoon. I was told that someone would call by 3 pm. But they are an hour ahead of me, so I called at 2 10 pm CST, only to be told to wait a little longer and someone will call. I have a friend that goes walking with me in the morning, and we cannot plan our normal walking time because of weather and this appointment until we know the time. I am still waiting for the phone call... Not happy that I have called the call center 3 times only to be told that someone else will call me back later. Couldn't the person on the phone with me assign a time? I am new to the program, this is my first appointment, Not very happy with today. Although I will say that each representative I spoke with was kind... even if they didn't explain the policies.

I received a call from Matrix stating they are providing care thru our insurance, UPMC
I received a call from Matrix stating they are providing care thru our insurance, UPMC. I scheduled an appt but tried to call back at a later date to clarify the time. I got a company who is pushing a *** gift card and wanted my credit card into to charge for shipping & handling...for a check or gift card. Because I then realized this was a scam I hung up and recalled the number initially provided: ***-403-0961 only to keep being connected to this company selling the scam...I tried to get them to connect me to Matrix but each time they just disconnected. I will have an earful to the health person if they do show up on the scheduled date!I just got thru to my insurance provider who said Matrix is a valid company working thru them to offer the services. When I called the number provided by my insurance co. I was connected to Matrix who appears to be valid. they said the number provided to me was ***-403-0967...one # different from what I was given. I'm still not comfortable as this scam company appears to be using the similarity in the #'s to pull off their scam. I cancelled the appt. and may/may not reschedule...in this world today, no one can be trusted.

I just had a disturbing phone call from a medical company
I just had a disturbing phone call from a medical company. So disturbing that I decided to look them up online. In my case, a woman called my elderly mother requesting to send a nurse to her home. My mother handed me the phone and I explained my mother is ill but already has a medical team in place and we do not need additional personnel. She sees her doctor regularly and does not need home visits. Once I stated that, she told me I don't understand the added value their service offers. Insisting they should come here and send reports to my mother's doctor. How insulting is that? I still tried to be professional and stated I understand but we are not interested at this time and she still continued to be aggressive in pushing for home visits. Then she continued to use condescending psychology like I had a problem not her. I plan to call my mother's health plan and let them know this experience. Based on my experience and the reviews I have read online, it seems all medical insurance providers need to reconsider their affiliation with this company. I even read a review where a former employee mentions they are a scam operation. By the way, I gave the lowest possible rating because I could not leave a review without selecting a rating option. But I want to be clear I find my experience to be the lowest possible rating.

My 93-year-old mother said her health insurance was with a Shield Advantage plan
My 93-year-old mother received a call from this company - she told them her health insurance was with a Shield Advantage plan. The lady claimed that Matrix was in collaboration with BCBS and had all her health details, proposing a home visit by a medical professional to evaluate her health. My mother conversed for about 15 minutes and agreed to an appointment. The call was on Thursday, with a suggested visit for Friday. Upon my mother's unavailability, the lady suggested Saturday. After the call, I inquired about the conversation and grew suspicious. I tried to cancel the appointment using the provided number but only reached a voicemail. Contacting BCBS, I learned they don't partner with external medical companies for home visits. Calling Matrix again led to a message about their medical monitoring system. Further research revealed that Matrix is owned by a doctor. I was outraged by their exploitation of the elderly. Now, my mother fears for her bank account security. This doctor and his company should face legal action for misrepresentation. I request my mother's removal from their list. Reluctantly, I rate them to submit this review.

These people called me last year spoofing the name Aetna, not Matrix
These people called me last year spoofing the name Aetna, not Matrix. They basically told this was mandated by my insurer. Ok, so I complied. They called again this year, again spoofing Aetna as the company calling. They called several times a day and never left a message which is why I never answered because a legitimate company will leave message. Because of the constant spam calls we get all day, I never picked up phone. So now this company called spoofing the name PBETF and we answered thinking it was my retirement people calling. NO...it was this *** Matrix outift.DO Y0U PEOPLE KNOW IT'S ILLEGAL TO CALL PEOPLE USING ANOTHER NAME INTENTIONALLY TO GET PEOPLE TO ANSWER. READ IT ON THE FED SITE.Again, they made it sound like it was mandated by my insurer that they come to house to assessment. And I said this was dumb as I see my regular doctor and this is redundant. When I ask if this was required by my insurer, all I got was round about answers like a politician does.I called up my insurer and they said this was strictly volunteer, which was never told to me by Matrix. They kept insisting that I had to comply to this. I told my insurer that I see my doctor on a regular basis and that these visits were not needed. Again, insurer told me this program is basically for people who don't see a doctor in which I DO.Insurer called Matrix for me and canceled appointment made under stress and never call again.AND YOU PEOPLE BETTER COMPLY TO THIS TO NOT CALL AGAIN. YOUR NO BETTER THAN THOSE SCAMMERS OUT SINCE YOU SPOOF NAMES. GOOD BY AND GOOD RIDANCE.

I received a letter from my health ins co, that I could choose ONE or more of 6 preventive health screenings at the Matrix mobile health clinic
I received a letter from my health ins co, that I could choose ONE or more of 6 preventive health screenings at the Matrix mobile health clinic at NO COST to me, and would receive a $50 gift card for ***. I'm 71 and a female. I called the # and said all I wanted was a bone density test which I had never had done. I have no family history, past or present, of breast cancer or diabetes. I'd just had the test for colon cancer 3 months ago, so I didn't need another useless test. I'm fine every year with that test. The Matrix woman seemed to not hear me. Again and again she just kept telling me I was preapproved for a mammogram and a fecal test. Again and again I told her I didn't need those. I set up my appt. for just the bone test. I thought it was settled. Then before the date of the test I got a call to confirm my appt. I had the correct date and time, but then she said it was for a mammogram and fecal test. AGAIN i had to tell this person that I didn't WANT OR ASK FOR THOSE! I JUST WANTED THE BONE TEST. All I could think then was that Matrix people don't know how to listen or communicate! I drove over to their location on the appt, date and time. I was taken into their bus, and inside, down their very skinny aisle, I had to pass a person leaving. Social distancing was NOT in force! Was taken to exam room, where I was told I was getting the mammogram and fecal test, and that's all. No bone test. Next woman said I would be getting the gift. I left, mad. I found out later by many phone calls thru my health Ins- 3 party visit--what a waste of time. My thought- they just wanted to do the 2 tests they'd make the most money on. Never an apology, to me, and no gift. They couldn't care less about people's health.

I've asked Matrix Medical Network to quit contacting me and remove my number from their database. Clearly they have no intention in removing my Name and Phone Number from their records, which is why I keep receiving daily calls! These calls are being illegally Spoofed as *** and this practice must be terminated IMMEDIATELY! This complaint and information will be submitted to the *** office and the *** office, as this is an illegal tactic being perpetrated by a Vendor (Matrix Medical Network) that's clearly profiting due to their relationship with ***, whom are also profiting from this arrangement. I NEVER gave consent for my Personally Identifiable Information to be shared with ANY outside Vendor contracting with ***! This practice is a breach of confidentiality by *** and MUST STOP! My medical insurance policy is administered by *** and I am not paying them a monthly premium to sell my information...this practice is ILLEGAL and *** must pay damages to ALL their insureds. Any Executive making these business decisions with should be held liable and suffer the consequences for their actions! I wish to have my Personally Identifiable Information held in the strictest of confidentiality with no more breaches of my trust. I personally called *** moments ago verbally complaining about the abuse of my Personally Identifiable Information being used by Matrix Medical Network and specifically asked to be removed from ALL further uses of my information. I'd like to see all parties held accountable for these actions! I wish this review could be 0 stars, as there's no excuse for these actions and should not be rewarded in any way!

Like many others, I received phone call after phone call and message after message from Matrix (with varying numbers showing up on the caller ID)
Like many others, I received phone call after phone call and message after message from Matrix (with varying numbers showing up on the caller ID). I contacted them and asked for the phone calls to stop. I also received snail mail which delineated the services provided. Like others, I have my own *** who takes great care of me who I can contact directly no matter where I am in the world. Reading their list of servces provided, I saw nothing on that list that added value. I do not have any health questions my own doctors can't answer, I don't need Covid-19 education, I don't need another physical exam, I don't need my medicines reviewed as all my medicines are prescribed by just two doctors and they both have up-to-date lists of what I am taking and review that with me at every visit. I certainly have no interest in what they think about setting up a safe, healthy home. Why would I want a stranger to come into my home to do a service that adds no value whatsoever? Matrix Medical, in so many of their responses, keep saying their services are free. Just because a service is free to a member does not make it free. The insurance company/my former employer is paying them for both harassing me with phone calls, trying to schedule visits, and doing the visits. Matrix needs to come clean that they are paid. (As an aside, all the money Matrix is paid just goes to increasing the cost of my insurance. I'd like to see this service cancelled and my insurance premiums lowered). After reading reviews of the service, it sounds distinctly sub-par. Both my insurance company and Matrix need to do a much better job in deciding for whom the service would add value. It is not ok to harass everyone with phone calls. And why do they even call anyway? Email or texts are more effective. And after calling and leaving messages a max of three times, Matrix should automatically stop calling people. They need to change their policies now to stop caling after three calls if they do not hear back from the patient. The message sent by not contacting them is the patient is not interested. "
