i purchased the ebay magic program which is a how to program to setting up a home business on ebay sold on mass by Matt and Amanda Clarkson, I got their VERY EXPENSIVE program expecting something amazing, and boy what rubbish... common sense would have served me. and went through it and I feel like i just throw my money down the toilet. very, very dissapointed.
what pisses me off is that their marketing is really pushy and they really push you to buy, only the product is not up to it when you consider what you pay. disgusted!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I'm collecting names of people who have bought the course and feel they've been ripped off, so I can take to "Fairtrading" and show them that I'm not the only one that disagrees with this type of marketing!
If you have had similar experiences, you can help others from being ripped off by writing & sending your experiences to ebaymagiccomplaints@gmail.com I'll be collecting as many as I can to use in court.
many thanks
Hi just interested how you went with this? I have the course and am disgusted, but have only just seen your post
Yes me too! I was stupid enough to fall for the hype at their seminar over 10 years ago and paid for the JV program and after MANY MANY wasted hours, effort and money it was never going to happen. Initially just walked away but would really like to pursue the refund option. Anybody had any luck with it?
We also purchased their JV Program and were totally disgusted. We paid $17, 000 to work in a Joint Venture program with Matt and Amanda but actually got a junior to work with. Amanda told us we had to wait in the Doctors waiting room like everyone else to get any help! There was no intention to work with us as JV partners! I too would be interested in pursuing a refund option .
Thank you all for your good and bad comments about this course. I am very new to this so all information is good information.
For those people who have done other courses which they regard as superior and cheaper than this one, i would be most grateful if you could you give me some details on those.
If there is anyone interested in getting rid of their course materials for this course please e-mail me on pipandpop@internode.on.net.
Many thanks
Kellie
I also attended one of Matt and Amanda`s Seminar, already being an ebay seller i thought wouldnt hurt to see what they offered. I was amazed by the hype that people got themselves into and then the pushiness to purchase their program there and then for $4000 otherwise it would cost $5k if you wanted to purchase it later. We counted approx. 300 people this one of three nights in melb. At least 25 people raced up to purchace the discounted package. You do the Maths! Thats $100, 000 for one nights work, thats when i realised, these guys didnt make their money out of ebay, (only ebay really makes money out of ebay & paypal) they are making their fortune out of ripping people off at these seminars. I have now read their so called Magic program (got it from a friend for nothing who had purchased it and found it to be useless common knowledge stuff) I also thought it had so much common knowledge information which anybody can get for free. Also found it had alot of outdated info from ebay. I really couldnt see what your hard earned money got you, but it`s your money to do with what you want, i personally believe save your dollars and do your research, which is free, only time. Goodluck
What a load of sheer rip off merchants. My brother spoke with some dodgy guy on the phone.. Saying stuff like " You can have an automated ebay business in less than 30 days". Common sense should tell antone who wants to start an income from home, it is not that easy. PLEASE! anyone who wants to buy a couple of folders, out dated dvd's for 5k, to start making an income from ebay needs to be...do your homework...
I was also ripped of paying $5, 600 i want my money back, i will join anyone in court to fight these people, we have rights and we were mislead, the course and the coaching was way over priced totally disappointed
Hi guys. Yes, stay away. I was fortunate to get my money back. I complained to my cc company who reversed the charges. I tried at first talking to Matt clarkson who was defensive and abusive ( a bit like Rob). There are alOt of scam artists out there who use their sales tactics, such as ; we only want to help people; 5 grand is like spare change. ###! Once they have your money, that's it. Complain to fair trading, etc. The more complaints, the better chance ASIC will shut these frauds down!
HI! Guys, I bought ebay magic program few months back. I was made various promises that there is a money back guarantee that if I use all their program and if I still do not make any money I get 100% of my money back and etc. Based on that, I thought I can't be cheated than! After reading this forum I asked my brother (a practicing lawyer) if I can actually return the product and get 100% of my money back because I have faithfully followed the programs and not making much money yet. He said what matt and amanda did is clearly told us we can get 100% of our money back after not finding their program useful and that's actually sort of an implied. But yes, if you do believe them and quit your job and work on ebay to make a living and follow their programs and make nothing after at least 6 months you can sue them and get justice. Being a tech person, I would say that what matt and amanda doing is very illegal. Australian people are very nice and naive. Matt and amanda are fooling them and are cheating their hard earned money. No doubt I am making 1/2 million dollars sales online every year but not through matt and amanda's BS program. I am following the program by Chris Malta from WWB. I know him personally and work with him personally and he has helped me make an online empire. Early this year sometime, I have went to Gold Coast for the matt and amanda's conference. I was wandering why people were pouring in so much money buying their programs and there were no one in the room who actually stood up and ask them prove of their ebay ID and etc to find out their authenticity. The first time I open their program I was expecting something really mind blowing. Yes, my mind was blown away with loads of BS! Everything they stated in their so called BS manuals are nothing but BS! Another thing is during the conference matt and amanda hardly mention the name of Chris Malta who is a real internet millionaire. Chris actually showed me his account and his website through which he actually sell his items. unlike, matt and amanda! PEOPLE PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE MATT & AMANDA'S PROGRAM THEY ARE PURE CON. THEY VERY WELL KNOW PEOPLE WILL SEARCH IF THEY ARE CON SO THEY HAVE BOUGHT THIS DOMAIN CALLED: WWW.MATTANDAMANDASCAM.COM SO WHEN YOU SEARCH IN GOOGLE MATT & AMANDA SCAM... IT WILL AUTOMATICALLY SHOW UP ON THE FIRST PAGE WITH THE TOP RANKING. THE ONLY WAY WE CAN PROBABLY FIGHT IS LET'S GET ALL THE PEOPLE WHO FEEL CHEATED BY THE EBAY MAGIC PROGRAM, GATHER THEM TOGETHER AND SUE BIDDINGBUZZ ALL TOGETHER ONCE AND FOR ALL!
LET'S SAVE THE HARD WORKING AUSTRALIAN FROM BEING CHEATED BY THESE SO CALLED MILLIONAIRES!
Like matt and amanda said they were living hand to mouth before, in fact you know what happen to most of these people who live hand to mouth... at one point they get so pissed off with life that they start doing the wrong things... like this! Cheat people.
Hi there, if anyone is looking to sell their pack I would be interested in purchasing it from you. My email is rachael.leah@optusnet.com.au
Regards
Rachael
Hi Rachael did you have any luck purchasing a pack? I have one for sale at a fraction of the original cost.
My husband and I paid for the Bidding Buzz JV early this year $20, 000 after the Ebay course. We were told this would fast track our Ebay business. The usual office chicks call that they do not even know the basics of Ebay of Tax Id. We were told to go away and find our niche market. Matt was so rude to us. They have never ever followed up on their JV persons (one would think you would be treated like royalty after paying this amount).Amanda talks about her little blue book with all her niche products that they could never use. I would think after you have paid this amount of money they would give you the blue book or ONE of their niche product to research. This money was to buy a new car that we badly needed and we are both retired but was convinced we could buy one out of our new found ebay business. These people are the worst scammers and do not follow up how you are going you always have to call them and not at all helpful after paying this type of money. My husband and I are now seeking legal action against these people. Does any one want to form a class action suit against these scammers!
Hi there,
Im currently trying to get my $5, 700 back for the ebay magic delux course.I think it is a scam, I have just sent in my complaint to The Dept of fair trading, will be happy to talk to you about it and take legal action.you can call me on [protected].
If anyone is looking to sell their pack I would be interested in purchasing it from you. My email is dturner64@optusnet.com.au
Thanks Debbie
This terrible what these matt & amanda people are doing, I was also scammed and I want action taken against them. DISGUSTED! justin.anderton33@gmail.com
I agree scam is the prime word
Having paid for the Bidding Buzz course almost three years ago now I recall it was always difficult to make appointments to speak with the "mentors" at Bidding Buzz. I never spoke to Matt or Amanda despite them telling you that they were always available to chat. They are always busy with the higher paying customers. Funny thing is after reading comments here the higher paying customers couldn't speak with them either.
After finally speaking with my "mentor" I soon discovered I already knew more about eBay than they did. I think I used two of my five mentor sessions before figuring it all out for myself.
I became disillusioned with the whole Bidding Buzz process, purchase ($5k course) and did everything myself.
If you choose to start an ebay business there are so much free infromation available on the net that you do not need Bidding Buzz at all. Bidding Buzz is only aggregating content and putting spin on it calling it there own. Spend $500, keep $500 for templates and store design and your set. Do what they do and source your content for your store. Read how Terapeak works, find a product, jump on Alibaba and the world is your oyster. You can do it yourself. Trust me.
Just to note, It was almost impossible to have Pete Godfrey complete his copyright review formed part of his course. I express posted my long copy to him three times before we finally chatted over the phone for 10 minutes 6 months after I had sent the first critique request to him. I live in Brisbane & I was posting to Mackay (same state).
I dont think that Bidding Buzz nor Pete Godfrey are dodgy. I know from my experiences that they simply are not experienced business people. My opinion is they are in business for short term success at the expense of their customers. Bidding Buzz is not a valuable service in my opinion.
I wish Bidding Buzz and Pete Godfrey all the best for the future.

Hi everyone, I'd love to see the package if anyone is giving theirs away...I am really curious. But certainly after reading all the complaints, don't want to spend that kind of money. I'd appreciate it so much and pay for postage.
Cheers
jennitom2609@gmail.com
Hi Jentom,
Should you be successful in getting a copy of the package, please contact me at jmr011900@yahoo.com
Thanks in advance!
Hi, this is not a complaint. Im looking at going ahead with the bidding buzz course, but I would like to know if anyone has actually gone through with the whole thing step by step and implemented it as they have advised to do on one of the 7 booklets. I see alot of complaints and compliments about this course but it being on the internet I dont know what to believe...OR...is this something I have to experience myself?...any comments would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi again, are there any people from New Zealand that have gone through with this course? I would really love to talk / meet up if possible about this, im very eager to get started? please let me know..
Hi all,
I attended Matt & Amanda's eBay Magic course last night in Melbourne and have to say, when I went home to my husband I couldn't help but rave about the possibility of making this 'easy' money they speak of. Having recently got married though and acquiring a hefty mortgage, I too thought that this course worth $4-5K was a little overwhelming.
I am a lawyer and often my hours of work limit me from enjoying the simple things in life so I too am looking for change.
I will give this course a shot but not willing on spending the $4K just yet. Anyone interested in selling their course to me PLEASE contact me
My advice...Always take things with a grain of salt!
Hi,
I still have all the material which I paid 4k for and I give it away for FREE. Believe me, there is nothing magic about Matt and Amanda's Ebay Magic course! So, please! Save yourself the $$$. The two are just cunning sales & marketing people. If you want the course - all the folders plus DVDs and CDs, email me at chris.nenesito@gmail.com. I will only ask you to pay for the postage. Cheers.
Hi,
I bought this course in Nov after Brisbane event for 4K. I'm ready to part with it for half price.
If interested please contact me at just4pix @ ymail. com.
Hello there,
Thanks for all your contributions. I think the overall verdict is clear. Ebay magic is not fair value for money and Matt and Amanda Clarkson are not fair dincum. I suspect their main issue is not necessarily competition, but stagnation or decline. Hence there is no abundance mentality that would enable them to freely share all secrets. The biggest secret is their shop. Can't that be researched from the public domain and Qld business registers ? Many have felt ripped off. We have taken up the course as a group of four. The money is spent and the best we can do now is using the pain of overspending as a motivational force for success.
It would seem that some webmasters around the world have made some more complaints boards about bidding buzz and matt /amanda and rumour is that many more are to follow along with a social media awareness campaign regarding their tactics. Just fb like these sites and then let your friends know about the scam in the fb posting so everyone knows about Bidding Buzz and their scams. By doing this the sites will rank well on Google and flood their sites out with these warnings. Maybe it's time that this thing goes viral and the scamming criminals matt & amanda that manipulate, con, coerce, intimidate, fool and rip people off get their just deserts.

This ebaybiddingbuzzscam & ebaymagic sellers guide 2013 aspires to be balanced. The discussion point is whether or not Matt and Amanda Clarkson's home study course "ebay magic" is a scam and I will provide a few search terms so that both sides can be found amidst the noise.
I have just googled for biddingbuzzscam and got 319 hits. Matt and Amanda dominate this search result with their biddingbuzzscam website and ebay guides. To find the critics website you will need to search for biddingbuzzscams or look up complaintsboard.for ebay magic scam. The critics feel that the ebay magic package that costs about $ 4000 is a ripp off. Matt and Amanda on the other hand refer to hundreds of testimonials of happy clients.
In my opinion the real magic or buzz in the biddingbuzz free seminars is a mesmerizing sales psychology. It works. It has worked on me. I have bought. But once I looked inside the box and after the magic dust wears off sobriety has set in. I came to realize that in terms of value for money I have over paid. There is hype and fluff and a lot more up-selling involved and the education is still basic and lacks practical utility from case studies and examples. The education focuses on dream and confidence building and is essentially general in nature. Soon I realized that to play in their league of millionaire mindset clients you will need in excess of $10k for education ! What is missing is a low cost practical quick start launch concept to get people beyond the start up phase to sell of your household effects. Such programs are available much cheaper. I am just looking into Andrew Minalto's $100 training program and that may have more utility for me then the $4000 ebay magic course from Matt and Amanda Clarkson's Bidding Buzz.
So is ebay magic a scam ? Legally I would say no. Ethically, well you be the judge.
Is it good value for money or a ripp off ? A few got rich or successful enough and are happy. After all you don't just buy info, you buy a new mindset and access to a new circle of friends. For the majority of seminar attendees however the answer is most likely negative. And then there are the critics that want to take the case to fair trading in Queensland.
In summary know the costs, go to the free seminars and leave your credit card at home. If you can't afford the course don't buy. If you can afford it do your research anyways and resist the intense emotional pressure to sign up immediately. Don't be a fool and rush in as they will ask you with their specials ! They are masters in emotional selling. Watch Derren Brown's shows on TV or the internet if you don't know what I mean.
One more point. Be aware a lot of the stage marketeers that I have seen remind me of stage magicians. I came under their spell and felt quite dazzled by the Dollars and Mindset teachings and the prospect of becoming wealthy with a clever mentoring and education package They stage presenters frequently have new age philosophies and are involved with NLP and believe in the law of attraction. There are many players in the seminar circuit that use the same emotional sales techniques and a few offer far better value for money for their products. So be aware of the issues of psychology, ethics, greed and deception as well as the opportunity costs if you miss the chance to take positive action or reject a competent and genuine mentor. In the end you want good mentors on your way to riches. Good luck !
Just wondering if anyone has a recent version of the course they'd be happy to sell for $100. I would like to have a look at the course but unfortunately can't afford more than that. I realise it's not much to offer considering how much people have paid for it but I thought it may at least be something if someone's not using it. I have read all the reviews and wanted to thank people for posting as this saved me from getting into something that I couldn't afford on the promise of amazing results. I am interested in still looking at the course as some people seem to have gotten little bits out of it and I'd be happy to pass it on to someone else for the same deal when I'm done. If anyone is interested in selling their course please contact me on maybenot_08@hotmail.com thanks
I paid $5797, this included the mentored phone calls. My mentor left bidding buzz and returned to England and i was not notified until months later when i tried to arrange another mentored session with her. I then had no replacement mentor, and no correspondence, other than, "use the helpdesk". As a result of this lack of assistance, I made the mistake of importing from china a cubic metre of stock without the assistance of bidding buzz, and guess what? I got ripped off. I had $3000 worth of stock stolen out of $5000 that I paid, this was stolen before it left china. I contacted bidding buzz, and all they said was, "we'll you shouldn't have done this", and "you should have that..." And that was it. So when really needed them they weren't there, and I've heard nothing from them since, so much for lifetime support. I just tried to sell the eBay magic material on eBay and the listing was cancelled by eBay on behalf of bidding buzz. They say its copyright of intellectual property, but I did exactly what bidding buzz themselves taught me to do, so there appears to be some double standards.
I was willing to cop it on the chin, being ripped-off with my stolen stock, but having them cancel my listing like that when i'm just trying to recoup a tiny bit of my losses, was just the icing on the cake for me.
When Amanda gets up on stage and confidently says, ' I don't care, I'll double your money back, " that installs confidence but I'm guaranteeing that wont happen, although I do believe the "I don't care" part.
Hi Hadagutfull,
Did you ask for your money back ? Why not ask to proof your case and see what they have to say.
Otherwise you could sell ebay magic elsewhere, where they don't care what you do.
Anyways my argument is that a copyright owner has the right to control how we can use the licensed material, but since
this is a very unusual limitation that was not disclosed at the time of purchase I presume you would have the legal right to
do as you please. If they don't agree then they should refund your money.
I only went as far as having a telephone call with these people, but the experience was very very pushy from their side.
In short, I came across them from their website which offered a free DVD. I left my details and welcomed a call back, which I received a day later. The sales man was very pushy in his approach and wanted to sign me up for a package. I made the excuse of not having enough funds on hand, but he said they had financing to help me out. He made me feel that there should be no reason at all not to sign up. In the end I told them I needed time, and that they could call back in a few days, and hung the phone. On the second call I told him flat out I was not interested and that I had discussed this with my wife. He then asked to speak to my wife, to which I responded that I would not allow him to do so. I then brought up the issue of all the online scam reports I came across during my research and that I was not interested in the program as a result, and for them to refrain from contacting me in the future.
From the horror stories I have read on this thread I am glad I never succumbed to their lies. I really hope that all of you who have been damaged by this company, that you do find some form of consoling resolution.
I leave you with two points I strongly encourage people to heed:
1). If you are in a situation where you are pressured in to sign up to some wonderful enchanting offer, but only given a limited time to make such a decision.. RUN THE OTHER DIRECTION!. This especially goes for that $20k program I read on here where people at the seminar are given until 5pm to decide whether to take up. This is a psychological tactic that puts you in a vulnerable state. BE STRONG. What is stopping them from extending that decision time to a week or more? Nothing! It's not like they are themselves constrained by some external force to only give you 3 or so hours to make a decision. They are just psychologically pressuring you when you are at your most vulnerable state. This also goes in other similar situations in life. Just RUN from these situations. They will only destroy you.
2). If you heart is still captivated by their promises of fortune, and you really want to buy that $4, 000 intro program package, I would strongly encourage you to get a hold of this package from eBay or some other site. I have seen them being sold for $150 or so. After reviewing the product, them make your decision.
All the best.
Just did a search on ebay Australia and there are a few wanting to sell the course for a buy it now price. Their price is a little steep, but still far less than $4, 000.
I just attended a full day event in Brisbane where Matt & Amanda were presenting along with 3 other coaches as part of a group 1 event. In my opinion Matt and Amanda would not be sharing the stage around the world if they were scammers. I have been a scam victim myself when the conman David Reid from David Homes managed to rip me off for $5m dollars so I do have a reasonable amount of experience with fraud. Matt are using modern sales techniques to sell a product that has worked and continues to work. It will not work for everyone because few people are business minded and have the ability to succeed. No amount of training will change that, but they will be willing to spend their own savings to find out. There were 200 people in the room, 50% had an online business 50% wanted to have an online business. Of the hundred who already had an online business only 5% of us were making a profit. Says it all really. You can buy all the courses you want but success takes guts, determination and hard work. I've done it twice now but I'm sure if I sold my blue print most people who bought it would fail. The ACCC are a waste of time as is the flaccid Australian legal system that allows experienced conmen from New Zealand to operate in Australia so don't waste more time and energy if you think you have a complaint. Business isn't for everyone. We all want the rewards it can bring but some things just can't be taught. M&A have the drive to succeed and have obviously worked very hard a taken some gambles along the way. This course should be a part of your business education, not all of it. If you want knowledge on the cheap buy books and read them. Or did you want all right now without the work?
Hi it's Matt from Bidding Buzz here, yes I use my real name here and in all online post's I make as I have nothing to hide.
It is and always has been, our intention to help people create more income with our education programs and have been doing so since January 2007.
Since late 2012 we have been under attack from an ex disgruntled employee who has undertaken dishonest and illegal tactics with her partner to defame us and our company Bidding Buzz. They have set up numerous websites as part of this strategy as well as made continuous comments here on the ComplaintsBoard website under different hidden accounts.
These people do not care about your future or how they could be affecting it by poisoning your opinion of us and our eBay courses, without knowing the real truth. We are open to any conversation with you regarding these issues and caution you to base your decisions on anything you read here, or on any of the other scam or complaints websites they have built.
If we truly were scammers who ripped people off, we would not still be in business after 7 years and we have never once appeared in court or been convicted of unconscionable conduct with our business or programs. We have appeared on A Current Affair, The Kerri Anne show and channel Ten's The Circle, all with positive stories showcasing how we help people.
Also we have received sponsorship from Australia Post directly and surely if we were doing the wrong thing, eBay themselves would have stopped us. Instead they have fully endorsed our best selling book and signed off on the name and included copyright screenshots.
There will always be an element of people who do not complete our entire program and do not implement the strategies we teach to create a successful business.
Just like any education course on the planet, there are people who will not succeed if they do not follow the steps and ours is no different. Life will always have a balance of people who like you and don't like you and we are no different. This does not mean we are not an ethical company delivering valuable training which has and continues to change the lives of people who are now making money on eBay, based on our strategies and systems.
We offer a lifetime support help desk for all of our current and previous students. Those who contact us and use the help desk have always received the help and support they need.
There is only a handful of people who have chosen to anonymously voice their disappointment on a website like this, instead of contacting us for help which means we don't have the ability to discover what help they need and be able to give them the strategies to fix it.
If we truly were scammers or rip offs, then we would not still be in business today, nor would we still be receiving unsolicited, unpaid, real success testimonials from real people who have chosen to make this work for them and done the work required to become successful.
If you don't follow the steps, work hard, be persistent and use all the help strategies we have in place, then you would be unsuccessful in this or any other business strategy.
At no time have we ever said that creating an income on eBay is a get rich quick opportunity. There are amazing opportunities on offer with an eBay business however you will need to work for it.
Talk to us directly if you are curious or even unsure about us as we can give you truthful information and advice, instead of basing your opinions on poisonous, negative information given by people who wont even disclose their real identity.
Either way we wish you well on your journey and hope you find the right opportunity for you and get the right advice from people who really care about your outcomes, dreams and goals and have no hidden agenda.
See more from this website that tells the real truth about what's really happening…

I went to one of Amanda and Matt's seminars at the Mercure Hotel on 11 July 2013 and the first thing I noticed (apart from no break in 2 1/2 hours and no water in sight) was the hype and spin. The second thing I realised was their disclaimer on the registration forms we had all signed, that nothing in the seminar was guaranteed and I knew that this would legally void the 'double your money back' guarantee...because we had all signed waivers! The third thing was being told to turn out mobile phones off and NOT to take any pics of the slides...which were often taken down before notes could be completed.
The hands-up hype reminded me of another scam, ACN Pacific's phone business, and the similarity to every other high-pitch it's-the-process-not-the-product sales pitch. Very Amway-ish!
Finally came the expected pricetag and the not-so-free 7 inch tablet 'computer' as part of the 'special deal' - which everyone would eventually get anyway who ordered. The two people I was sitting next to shared my concerns. There was nothing in the presentation I had not already found out for myself by my own due diligence, including dropshipping and how to automate on ebay.
So when the price came up...so did my walls: I could see immediately it was massively overpriced.
Still, I stayed to see Amanda sticking to the side of a paralysed woman in an electric wheelchair cough up her $3, 997 on the spot and even said hello to Matt while I waited to see what the third option financing was. I was not surprised that the staff had to hunt around for someone who 'knew' about the personal loan financing. 'Knew' was an overstatement...she had a leaflet and didn't even know the name of the finance company, just that the interest was 'very high.'
When Matt said hello, I told him my circumstances did not permit me to entertain either Option 1 (full purchase) or Option 2 ($499 down and $499 for another 9 months) and that, in any event, I had a policy of never buying on the night. I told him what my strategy was, what I already knew and what my financial position was and why going ahead at that moment was not in my best interests.
To his credit, he said I was on the right track with my strategies and he hoped I had picked up a few pointers but that given my finances he would advise against buying the programme at the moment even had I wanted to...but to go ahead and open one store (I had more in mind) and maybe come back when it had accrued some savings. I noted that he kept flicking glances in his wife's direction as he told me not to buy.
My immediate impression was he was, in his own way, warning me off while making sure Amanda didn't overhear. She struck me as a falsely friendly, talkative piranha.
Of around 150 people there, I saw 15-20 sign up and at least 5 people buy outright, including the woman in the electric wheelchair.
Personally, all the seminar did for me was confirm to me that I was on the right track but it reinforced for me the feeling that the information in the courses were overpriced and available in the public domain. The staff handling sales seemed amateurish and hardly knew what they were doing and could not answer even basic questions.
My gut feeling? DO NOT BE PRESSURED INTO BUYING THIS COURSE. Do your own due diligence and research. All these people are doing are lining their pockets for what ebay and others show you at little or no cost. And the software they use?
Auctiva costs you only $19.95 per month to fully automate your store. DON'T pay $3, 997 to find that out!
I've been looking into eBay business training courses and from what I can see, ANYONE who shells out a few hundred dollars can do the eBay 'university' accredited trainer courses...and being approved trainers is a VERY big point the Clarksons push, as they have the right to use the eBay logo in presentations because of this.
And I looked at Andrew Minalto's course online...and yes you get 7 components/DVDs but it seems to cover the stuff the Clarksons promise...for GBP67.00 (around $100). The Clarksons seminar left me cold...in fact, Amanda strikes me very much as a brassy, common sort of person. Their Bidding Buzz company has flooded Google with fake 'complaints' and 'scam verification' pages but the articles and language used are so obviously repetitive, you can tell they are written by the same people - and often carbon copies of each other under different banners.
You can do the US accredited eBay Trainer courses, from basics to advanced, for under $US500. You can even get and admittedly out of date Trainers manual and CDs off of eBay itself...why would you want to shell out $4000-$6000 and even $20, 000 for these fraudsters?
I am going to get the Minalto course...it can't hurt and I have to say it cannot be worse than these people's. PLUS it is almost $3900 CHEAPER to try and has a money-back guarantee if you are not happy within 60 days, WITHOUT questions or qualifying conditions.
I would STRONGLY suggest, especially to people within the USA/Canada, to look at the eBay legitimate how-to courses and research their featured instructors. For outside the USA/Canada, as I am, look for a mentoring programme which will teach you the basics, how to source, and how to do this without a large capital outlay and give it a try withing the next few years before the bigger players get involved. get yourself into the rankings.
Just please, please, avoid the Clarksons. If your gut tells you not to do it when it comes to them, follow your gut instinct. Everything I have researched since attending their seminar tells me to RUN, not walk, away from them.
Try the cheaper courses, do your due diligence. They simply are not worth it. I live in Brisbane, not far from the Gold Coast where these people are. And the Gold Coast is awash with shysters like these, presenting not-quite-get-rich-overnight-but-you-will courses for everything from trading stock options, to currency trading, to eBay stores like they are doing.
For those who were taken in by these two...you won't get any remorse. They simply do not care. Look for, and research, legitimate training courses and books. And I wish you the best of luck, too.
I have spent more than $15000 on education this year. some are good and some are bad.
I did not buy ebay magic course. I had the plan to do so. I have to clarify something.
Matt and Amanda are business people. they are offering something of value. what they are offering is not scam because
ebay has the harshest policy against scamming and they could not have continued doing their business hit and run style.
somewhere along the line, someone would have brought them to court or something.
From what I can pick up from here, the problem is OVERPRICED packaging. You paid 5k for something that did not have
5k value to you. But how do you define expensive or cheap? value is perception. If you have 1 million dollars, you think of
5000 as a small payment. but when you are making 3000 a month, 5k is A LOT of money.
The point is, if I buy their course and invest in e-bay and make 5000 back in a year, I've made %100 return which is amazing.
this is how you look into the business. if you are buying something, you can negotiate with seller.
ask for a solid guarantee. do something that puts your mind at ease.
Do not complain. it doesn't make your life better.
Wow I was thinking of going to a talk by them in Brisbane this month. NOT NOW. I'm more shocked that I found them via Global 1 who really are a respectable company promoting courses that help. They've had Dr John DeMartini and other reputable people and we've used them. I'm horrified they are promoting these scam artists.
I should have listened to my gut feeling then! After listening to so much complaints and negative review about bidding buzz and even question why would a organisation like them would set-up their own scam site 'biddingbuzzscam.com.au' I still poured in my $4000. Well what I got was sheer non-sense. I could have borrowed some business books to learn heaps more than this waste. They promises and show you too much dreams and soon leave you all alone. Their customer service are a wreck unless they are luring you to make more purchase. If anyone of you are having financial problems please think a million times before purchasing their products detaching that hard-earned money away.
If you are planning to do any ebay business than simply open a ebay account and try doing it yourself. Ebay itself is very self-explanatory and anyone will understand you don't need cons to teach you these self-explanatory stuff. If you really need help go to youtube.com and search for the help you need. It's all there in step-by-step video format. At least try it before ditching your hard earned cash from you.
Just think this; why would a organisation like budding buzz would open-up a separate domain site to alert people they are not a scam but genuine? Why would they do this? As far as I think it simply because they are convinced that people are becoming aware of their scam and are alerting others and this is obviously affecting their business so they desperately open this site to prove they are genuine. Infact, I understand that this step from them simply proves to the people they are nothing but a true scam artists. One does not need to spent on proving others their genuinely, when they do this it simply proves the opposite and they have successfully done it! Secondly, if their ebay already earned them millions why would they take drastic steps such as the above. Isn't their "so-called" ebay business sufficiently earning enough for them? Or is conning others is their real and only business?
Just to strengthen the above, just think this. Before you plan to visit a let's say 'a car mechanic' who do you trust which mechanic might be better? Well, for many of the people I know and myself personally, we trust 'google review'. And it rarely disappoint us. Who are the reviewers? They are genuine gmail or google users. Now those mechanics who let's say have a bad review what might they do?, well they can probably change their service level or open up tens of gmail account to review themselves positive.
But for bidding buzz they simply didn't advertise themselves on google account because they know it will trash them overnight + like mentioned before they open their own site called , where they [the perceived scammer by many], have argued that they are not scammer. How ridiculous is it, we all know a theft will never admit he stole, simply like it a con artist will never admit they conned.
Friends please don't be fooled by the promises as well, such as No question asked - 30 days - 100% money back guarantee and etc. These are just simple luring techniques before they role you in! Beware these techniques are sometimes used by well educated con artists to use to their advantage.
I am not a very rich man myself and $4000 means a lot to me. Business has always fascinated me a lot, and with bidding buzz was the first company I thought I could trust to teach me about business. But what they have given me in return is tears, finding hard to trust others and drop in self-esteem and self-respect. I was prepared to fail but never expected to be conned!
I wish all the very best and hope my advice may help others with their decisions.
