I purchased videos/CDs from Matt Bacak but did not order Dirt magazines. I have been billed monthly for a while now on the Dirt magazines (which I do receive) and I wish for it to stop. Please help me!

I knew this "Dirt" magazine was coming but I unsubscribed from it last week. Just discovered that checking account has just been charged again! It is pending, and it is now 1:03 am, not a darned thing I can do to stop it! I'm quite angry as it is going to put my account in the negative, having been laid off from work and now I will get bank charges on top of that! I've called the number but their office is not open until 10:00 and that charge can go through anytime! They give a website on there twice but I can't make it out the woman's voice on the recording goes so fast so I cannot get to the help desk either! Even if I do because of "high volume" it may not get addressed for 24 hours!

I can see this was one hell of a mistake!

It was all over that $1 I put on what I thought was a good deal!

Support is trying to help 'Euer'

Hi Euer,

I'm trying to find your account in our system. Unfortunately, I can't find a 'Euer' anywhere to help you. Would it be under another name? No matter what. Please email me ASAP at nsilverstone@gmail.com so I can quickly help you get this resolved. Please put 'Nicole - Report' in the subject line so I know that it is you.

I'm scratching my head why you are still getting charged after we canceled your subscription. But, I'll refund you and take care of this as soon as I hear from you.

Looking for your email.

I just received this email from Matt Bacak. "I am pretty blessed and have done very well for myself on the internet. This powerful CD was created just for you. Sincerely, I just want to give back."

Matt has been so blessed that, out of the goodness of his heart he created a FREE CD as a way to 'give back'. Isn't that nice! What a great guy!

What's this on the order page?

$9.77 for Shipping

And a subscription to a magazine that I don't want and was never told about . I guess I would have found out when I got my next credit card statement.

Sorry Matt. You didn't fool me this time.

I got sucked in once by Stephen Pierce with this 'forced continuity' trick. Emails for 3 months to customer service didn't get any response. I finally dug around and found a phone number and left a message on the answering machine (no live person to talk to) before they finally cancelled my subscription and refunded my money. No explanation either. To this day, I don't know what I subscribed to.

I too am trying to make some money online, but if takes this kind of dishonest trickery to make it big, I guess I'll have to wait a little longer than I expected before I'm driving around in my 2009 BMW Z4.

By the way, I just watched the video that Nicole referred to above that supposedly shows how everything is explained before you order. Well, the order page that I have up on my computer right now doesn't explain anything. It just has a line showing "Subscription Purchase FREE 30 Day Trial - The Internet Marketing Dirt". There's no mention of a price or the fact that I will be billed $29.97 every month for this. It doesn't even say that it is a newsletter.

Matt, when you said you wanted to GIVE BACK. I thought you meant to me, not your own bank account.

Francis

I'm going to look into this right now and share this with Matt with my findings. I know he combs through things with a fine tooth comb. I'll be back with you.

I just looked into this. I believe that you are talking about the Traffic Explosion CD offer. It says on the salesletter:

"FREE Trial Membership - When you get your CD today you'll also receive a free 30-day trial membership into my "Internet Marketing Dirt" report so you can see how powerful and profitable the information truly is. Plus, if after the 30-day trial period you decide the dirt isn't for you you can cancel your $29.97 membership at any time! (Value $30)"

It says it on the order form also.

Then, 1 day later people get an email reminder.

Here is the exact email that they receive - to remind them:

Got this email from Matt a few days ago.

"I've been working my butt off to make sure that
anyone that needs to get ahold of me can easy
find me. I have created these websites to make
it even easier then ever. I'm launching a Contact
Matt Bacak campaign to ensure that people that
might have old email addresses or even old phone
numbers now have the newest numbers.

The reason I have everything on websites is so I
can change any of the information - if they shall
ever change in the future. Which is very unlikely.

But, it might happen."

He also sent a press release about it, here it is:
