For over 2 years I have been fighting with Synchrony Bank to get my money back. In December 2020, I went into the Mattress Ave in the Glen lakes Plaza in Weeki Wachee, Florida 34613. I already knew the exact mattress I wanted; it was a no-brainer of a sale. The owner, Darrell Vidas, said he didn't have that mattress in stock, but he could get one asap. I signed a sales slip for $3400 for a Sterns & Foster Thurston Plush Top king size mattress with an adjustable frame. He offered a 6 month Synchrony account to me, which I accepted. About a month later, Darrell Vidas called me and said he was on his way over with the mattress. I told him I was very sick with Covid, and I would call him as soon as I was better. He was very angry because he already had the mattress loaded on the truck. I reminded him that we didn't have a delivery appointment for today anyway, and when he loaded the truck, how did he know if I would even have been home to accept the delivery? For the last 2 years Synchrony Bank has been promising me that they would investigate the problem and return my money. As of August 2023 they are still "investigating". Meanwhile, I had to go out and buy ANOTHER bed, just so I would have a place to sleep. Mattress Ave never sent me a bed, so I want my $3400 now.
Desired outcome: I want a full refund of $3400. Mattress Avenue never delivered anything to my house, and I have proof.
That story really sounds far fetched . We have been doing business with Mattress Avenue for about 10 years. They have serviced all of our family members along with our 7 Airbnb’s . They also have tons of 5⭐️ reviews across multiple platforms, as well as an A+ Better Business Bureau Rating for a long time.
I truly believe this complaint is BS. Tbaker@nym.hush.com .
