MD Performance and Repair review: Complaint 1

Devon Lamar Miller dob [protected] is the owner of this company. Please beware of this so called mechanic that is nothing but a liar, cheat, and scam artist. He is a criminal that has pages of charges, including domestic violence. He has been my "trusted" mechanic for the past two years until I learned he was never to be trusted. My first issue was my exhaust, he ran a diagnostic test due to my engine light being one and said he would do a muffler delete that would resolve the issue in order for me to pass inspection. I paid him $1000 total for the service and my engine light never went off. I shouldn't have went back to him for service but he agreed to fix my car before my next inspection. I continued to use him for routine repairs such as brakes, oil changes, rotors, shocks etc. I later found that he had been returning my core parts getting refunds, over charging me for services, and even working with other shops he referred me to to over charge me. ( by his own admission) As a woman who doesn't know much about cars he took advantage of me and my lack of knowledge, he even tried to sleep with me. He is very unprofessional, does shabby work, and does not deserve to operate a business. I was suppose to have a lifetime warranty on my brake pads that were repaired by him. I was provided a receipt for repairs with notations indicating the lifetime warranty thru auto zone for replacement brake pads when i went to the store to get new pads they said he returned the parts he was suppose to be replacing. This will be the third time he's would've had to repair my front brakes which sounds rather unusual. I doubt that he replaced them at all and fell that he is just taking peoples money. There is a man by the name of Carl that works for auto zone that refers customers to him that is familiar with him and the entire situation. These two people Carl and Devon are associates from the same Country (Jamaica) and they are all working in "Cahoots" to cover up each others wrong doing. All the receipts from the Autozone and on 3rd party repair shop he referred me to along with the address and name of shop are included in this report. I informed Devon Miller of the report I made to the BBB and Federal Trade Commission and his response was good luck wasting my time. Please revoke his license if he even has one.
