Metergy Solutions review: Bill

Our apartment in Edmonton just got set up with Metergy. It is a small one bathroom apartment with only two people. We just got our first bill and it was for $130/month. This is outrageous. I lived in a three bathroom house with five people and water cost less than 1/3 that amount. Metergy bills are outrageous. Our electricity bill is quite a bit lower our water bill from Metergy.

The bill is for the months of November, December 2024 and the first half of January 2025. The bill says we used far more water than we did

We contacted Metergy and they were not helpful. All they said they could do was send out a technician to look at the meter. But, if they cannot find a problem with the meter they will charge us a $110. Someone set up a ticket, and a person called, but not when they were supposed to and there was no voicemail set up to return the call.

We cannot afford to be overcharged so much for water. We really need something to be done about these riduculously high water bills.
