This company called me a couple days ago and asked me to confirm my address. they said I won a 10 Usd certificate I told them I wasnt interested but hey kept ringing my house almost every day, couple days after i received a letter that supposedly entitled me to a membership . I didnt have any idea about what the membership was or what it includes, I checked my Credit Card statements and bank account and i saw two charges under Safe Card each one of them for 50 Usd .

I called customer service

at [protected] and they said they werent responsible for any charges and they said it wasnt their problems . The other number [protected]. and [protected]. take you to a customer service very helpful by the way who handle a trip to Cancun Mexico that comes with this membership .since i realize those guys arent going to refund my money i decided to go to my bank and file a dispute, couple days after my money was refunded through my bank, I recommend all of you readers who are on the same situation where i was to go to their banks and dispute all of those charges, fill complaints if you been a victim from this SCAM also their site is www.metimecard.com

I am one of the owners of Metime. We do not wish to 'scam' anybody and if you feel money has been taken unfairly, please go to our website and contact us with your name and details and we will refund immediately.

There may have been an issue with our customer service due to us moving from Mexico to the UK to have more control. Again, we apologise for this situation. Please contact us via the website and we will resolve this accordingly.

Regards

Joe Bryer

metimecard.com is a scam. This Joe Bryer guy is some how accessing peoples info and posting charges on there acounts. If this happens to you. Contact your Bank and fill out the FRAUD paper work on this company. As times get harder these guys will crawl out of the sewer so keep a look out for them.

I just checked my bank account and the exact same thing happened to me. The guys ARE crooks. I have already called and left a message with MeTIME and sent them an email. What's worse, their charges caused me to lose all the money I had in my account and thus I acquired an 'overdraft fee'. There were also charges from another company I didn't recognize that stated it was 'bus services'. I have no idea what's going on but I'm furious. These guys took every cent I had an then some.

What's worse, is that I had to pay to be stolen from with an overdraft fee.
I am currently at http://www.bbb.org/us/Find-Business-Reviews/ (the Better Business Bureau) to make a complaint.

I still can't believe this happened. How can you think that you can just blatantly steal peoples money and get away with it? I hope these guys not only pay everyone back that they stole from but are brought up on charges of Fraud. Like was mentioned earlier, I will be filling out the FRAUD paperwork at my bank first thing Monday Morning.

Joe Bryer, please quit lying. If this man gets put behind bars for this one it will without a doubt, renew my faith in this countries Justice System.

This happened to my wife's card as well. I declined the "free" items that were offered when they called my wife's cell phone, I actually had to get pretty forceful with the individual that called, and after hanging up on him, he had the nerve to call back and yell at me for hanging up on him. The next day, we find a charge of $40.00 from www.metimecard.com, plus a $1.20 foreign transaction fee. We called our credit card company, who informed us that the card number was manually entered (obviously) and provided us with a number to the company to dispute the charge. My wife called [protected]) and was unable to reach a live operator at this number, nor the toll-free listed on their website.

When I attempted to call the number they called from([protected]), a recording kept repeating "let me transfer you to a customer support specialist". Two days later, we had another charge, this time for $8.26 (5 pounds sterling) plus a foreign transaction fee of $.26. The same day my wife gets another call, this time identifying themselves as metimecard, well she proceeds to inform the representative that they have charged her card without authorization, then asked for a manager. When the manager took the line, my wife asked him to reverse the unauthorized charges, and this person actually said "You must be joking". Well, we had the credit card company file a chargeback and got the card number changed.

I was willing to let is go, but they had the nerve to call us again today, from the same 203 number in Connecticut, to I decided to do a little digging. I went to an IP lookup site, and www.metimecard.com has listed as it's administrative contact one Wayne Phillips, in Newport, Gwent Great Britain. His email address was at safe-card.co.uk, so I went to that site, and they are a pre-paid debit card service located in Cardiff Wales. I don't know if Metime and Safecard are directly responsible for the fraudulent manner in which they obtain unsolicited credit card and contact information for their potential customers, or if they are employing a third-party, but they are ultimately responsible as they are the ones whose names appear on our credit card statements.

So, Mr. Joe Bryer, you may want to distance yourself from whoever you hired to put together this business plan (unless it was your idea), but people are onto this scam and hopefully the appropriate authorities are as well.

To those out there who have fallen victim to this practice, contact your credit card company and report teh fraudulent transactions, and have them issue a new card number as your existing card is obviously compromised.

OMG! These stories are so true. Someone called me a few weeks ago with a 203-area code and told me they are not selling anything and that they are giving me a $10 reward for shopping at Target, CVS, Duane Reade stores etc. I immediately cut the call and hang up. Then after a week, I get charged $55 bucks and they went on charging me two (2)$10 after 2 days! I talked to my banker and reported everything as fraudulent. They are issuing me a new card since I had my previous one cancelled immediately.

Metimecard.com is a SCAM, please don't fall for this. Or just hang up on these unknown callers. Safer not to pick up any of these calls.
