I'd like to know who this compnay is and what it deals in. my bank card was charged 59.84 today. I did not deal with them, never heard of them, nor has my husband. I called the 866 number beside the pending transaction and the number was bogus & did not go through. How are they breaking through ones CC?

I got ripped for 59.84 and 29.71 within 2 days with these people doing this it has put my bank account in the negative & I don't get paid for another week so I am broke until then. I wish someone would stop these people from doing this. I have called the 866 that was provided on my bank account & all I get is a busy signal I knew something was up then.

Seriously even now I can't believe that I was that easily fooled to submit my visa card information to this company.

I got this website fyi:

https://secure.recessionproofpaychecks.com/t/Order.aspx
about Google home working plans!

It then sent me email claiming Money Mastery or whatever like that company. I've canceled my bank card but I don't know if they still can charge me on my account. Hope it helps!
Should have searched before completing any form like this! :(

I too was ripped off .I read all of the fine print and was told there was only a one time charge of $1.95. A couple of days later I was charged $59.84. When I called [protected] customer service to ask for my money back they told me that it was authorized for them to take the money out of my account ! I never consented to this but once you give them your credit card number it counts for authorization for them to take money out of your account ! People be very aware of them ! Its a scam ! Please someone put a stop to this!

Agree. Rip off. Please everyone, let's go into this together to get our money back. I say we go class action on them. We'll have a lot more steam with more people, as opposed to going after them ourselves. Is anyone interested?

I've been scammed too in a weak moment :( for a lot of money. I want a refund, I have tried to get one at www.customersupportnow.com but after reading the posts here I am not convinced this will happen. I will try my bank again if not, but £110 is quite a lot to loose, because it took two months to realise what was happening.

I have today discovered that I am also a victim of this scam, probably like most of you I found something on line that I thought would be a benefit to me, like you I registered my details and credit card with them paid the $1.95 went into the site then discovered that there was no “free down load” and to continue pay an additional sum, so I came out of this site thinking “O well I have only lost $1.95” when my credit card statement arrived today [Sat16th Jan 2010] I saw right away that this company had helped themselves to $60.00 from my credit card, I have been in touch with my credit card company (Barclaycard) and informed them of the situation and this is what is happening .

1 They will cancel my current card and send me a new card.
2 Send me some forms to fill out and return
3 will chase the perpetrator for the money taken
4 issue legal action if the money is not returned.
Fortunately for me Barclaycard covers my account for these kinds of attacks so at the end of the day I should be ok.
If you have been a victim you must tell you bank/card supplier and they should do the rest, check with them [card supplier] to ask if you should inform the police and get a crime number. I am also going to contact my local trading standards office who in turn wills entre the details into the national computer and perhaps the office of fair trading will put a block on this scam.
I looked up this site when I Google’d the name that shows on my statement, looks like there are load’s of us in the same boat.
For those who have not got card protection and need to fight why not go with DAVRED90 who posted 10 days ago
So Good luck everybody.
Barry.

The smae thing has happened to me! I was just as pissed at the rest of you if not a little more. I paid not attention to this charge since when i suppose to recieve the original package I was only suppose to be charged the $1.95. When I checked my account after the holidays I had been charged twice for 59.84 and 59.94 then I was charged 29.71 twice. That is over 170 dollars. I really needed this money to cover bills at the begining of this month and ended up having to borrow the money from others.

This is truly a scam. I read all the fine print also. I have learned my lesson fromthe past, but I still ended up being charged. The fine print says that you will only be charged one time on the site. I even received a call right after I signed up an tried to cancel then, but the "NICE" lady insisted that it was only a one time charge for the information that she would send in 5-7 days via the mail. Of course i never received it and could not use the number that I was given to inquire about it . I eventually googled (how ironic) for a number to call them and then was able to cancel the service I never signed up for. I am truly pissed about this... I am still in the process of getting this disputed with my bank. They are going to investigate, but I am not guarenteed my money back. Does anyone know of who I can contact to get a refund.

They scammed me for 270 dollars and Chase won't acknowledge that this is a ripoff. Chase has you call a number in the Philipines and the opertor could care less about your complaint.
