I received a similar email as the previous above. Against my better judgment I attempted to answer with the information they requested but was not successful. The email address was invalid and was not successfully received on the other end. I began looking for something on the web to aid in my quest to find out the legitimacy of this award team and I came upon this complaint page.
We always hope but I knew it was to good to be true. I just want to know what these scammers are gaining?

I had receive a mail from Microsoft Company about winning of Lottery which was drowned in London on 22/7/2007 as Ref: BTD/968/06 Batch: 409978E in the my e-mail ID mekola_eshwor@yhoo.com.
I, therefore, had complained to the Microsoft with heart and soul because I trust the Microsoft. And also I have submitted my Beneficery Verification Form according to their demand. Still I am waiting their respond confidently. I am looking towards their further respond and information.

Why these people are misguiding us... wasting time... what the police of UK are doing without taking any kind of action? These things has to be sent to all the people,otherwise so many people may loose money by paying for courier service.

I got the same email and according to microsoft there is no microsoft award team. There isn't even a microsof office in london!
I think that a company as powerful and ethical as Microsoft would take the time the pursue and prosecute the criminals who are ripping off people using the Microsoft corporate image! Come on, Mr. Gates, you know that there have been innocent, trusting people who have fallen prey to these scammers.
I also received notification of "winning a lottery". I figured it was a scam (but to be honest my hopes were raised). I believe that someone needs to bring these criminals to task. And if they are caught, count me in on the class action suit!

Complaint is necessary. I got a scam mail too and the first thing I did was go to google and did a search on the so called Microsoft award team and found out the complaints of others. If it had not been posted by them I would not have known and so this is a great site.
This is purely a scam mail... Please don't accept these mails... Just immediately delete these mails which says... award winning notification, lottery. etc... You will be in trouble getting such mails everyday 10-15 if u reply these type of mails...
So... beware... immediately delete those... remember how a anonymous person freely gives lakhs of rupees...

Hi everyone,
I have also received the same mail and i called them but because of phone technical problems i could not hear the agent properly. However i heard him saying that i should contact by email. Then i emailed them asking how can i clam my prize. Unfortunately, i have not received any mail yet. I also searched online about their company so far i have not found any true information about Microsoft award team. i read some other victims mails and every single mail they have sent to innocent people have different mailing address and most of them are in London. Why would they have so many winning teams in London on different address since Microsoft and AOL are us based companies. Second thing i realized that how come they are unaware of my mailing address when are sending me winner notification. Therefore, these all winning notification are fraud and thief. Be aware everyone winner notification is no true...!
