I questioned the ability of my hearing aids to connect with Bluetooth when I purchased them. I was unable to get them to pair (work). I took them back and was told that I needed to bring in my device that needed to be paired. When I did that, the technician was also unable to get them paired and that he would get back to me on the problem. For the next three visits the same thing happened. On my last visit I was told that they are only compatible with iPod. Something I was not aware of. When I asked the new manager in the Harlingen Tx. store what could I do. She told me that I could just buy a new pair. I called your number and was given a complaint number of #63598 with instructions to call back periodically for updates because your company is researching an ability to allow my hearing aids to work with android. And now I'm gettin advisories to bring my hearing aids in for another check.
Desired outcome: I would like either a modified set to allow my aids to pair with android or get me a new set that will.

The runaround is what you are getting. Basically, the Miracle Ear misrepresented capabilities of its product. In your initial understanding of things, request for a complete refund or have it replaced with one that can work with your device. Where they refuse to fix this issue, file a complaint with FTC and your state consumer protection agency. Do not bother yourself about their “updates” any more — go straight to the corporate and call for resolution or legal redress.
