I am also a victim of MNI*CREDITRPT with the $9.95 billing after I order for a free credit rating. Wonder what else the company can do with our information. Let me know of any new developments.

I checked my credit report with equifax and ended up getting charges from MNI*CREDITRPT. I finally figured out it wasn't equifax charging my account. I never gave my credit card number to these people, and have no idea who they are. But i had to call and get a new debit card and dispute the three charges on my account.

I am having much of the same problems. I signed up for a free trial then cancelled a week later. I have been getting charged for months at $9.95 on my card. I'm having difficulty cancelling. I will try the #'s listed here and see where that gets me.
Thanks

I am serving in Iraq and i have no way of getting ahold of these people. I am over here fighting for their freedom and their charging me for it, thats what it feels like. Anyway I have no way to call the states for awhile. I guess they will just keep charging me for the time being.

MNI is running a scam! I canceled my 30 day free trial about 10 minutes after i started it! The next month they billed my acct. When i called about the cancellation, i was told that i had never canceled the acct. The only option i was given was to cancel the account again! I guess i will wait and see what happens now. I don't think canceling twice will help. If someone decides to pursue legal action, send me an e-mail and I'm all in. Tell all your friends about the SCAM!

Thanks for your input guys, I called the number and cancelled, hopefully it works, Im going to put a stop to that as well in my bank. I didnt see the disclaimer on the left about the charging of 11.95 so I have been paying 11.95 a month, and at the moment Im a struggling student and they caused me to overdraft.

I canceled the account before the thirty days was up. But still got charged $11.95 on my credit card. Call the number listed on the credit card. Was put on hold for a long time. Finally got to talk to someone. He would not take the charge off because I didn't have proof that I canceled, over the phone you don't have. Don't listen to anything that says it free, nothing is free, there is always
a hidden cost.

I just browsed through many of your comments about being scammed by MNI Creditreport Service. This is just what this company is about -- scamming. I, too, was doing a favor by letting my son get his credit report and let him used my bank account (since this was required). Big mistake -- never give out your bank account or credit card before service is rendered. My son never received any credit report from this company. He was told he didn't have sufficient information. So we followed the requirement to cancel and did so immediately, but still my bank has been charged monthly for $11.95 since August. I'm so confused because my response to emails has been that the account was canceled -- yet I'm still being charged. They gave me an 800 number to call and I talked to a very arrogant service representative.

Suggestion: Contact your bank or credit card holder to file a dispute case and they will work with you to stop future charges and maybe remove past charges.

I'm all for a class action suit. I would definitely like to be included. WE MUST PUT A STOP TO THIS KIND OF SCAM NONSENSE!

I originally had service with this company in the beginning of 2006, then canceled shortly after. However, recently I started to receive bills from them. I called [protected] (same as [protected]) and spoke with a service rep who confirmed that my account was canceled in 2006. She then transfered me to their advanced billing dept [protected].

I spoke with a supervisor at the billing dept, who stated that my account was actually canceled TODAY! She stated that she can see the notes on my account made by the prior rep today... I was lost for words. I tried to explain that the other rep had few minutes ago confirmed that my account was closed in 06, but the supervisor wouldn't budge.

This is the most fraudulent company I have ever dealt with!

SCAM - had the same issue - They offered a free credit report and in the fine print they say you agree to be charged 11.95 after 30 days trial for monitoring your credit without ever geting a report from them. They just charged my credit card, thats all what you get. Perfect scam, they don't need to do anything and if you do not take action they will charge your credit card on a monthly basis. Just an easy way to get rich.

MNI CREDITRPT SERVICES has been billing my Bank of America credit card for a few months. I did use their site for what they claimed was a 'free' credit report one time. I called their customer service number today to cancel [protected]). I was told by the guy on the line that they not only allowed me to view a 'free' credit report each month, but that they also send me e-mails every time that I use my credit card. Well, that's funny because I don't remember ever getting an e-mail like that. After confiriming th e-mail address that they have on my account to send to,I had the guy re-send me all of these 'alert' e-mails for the past two months. Well, I only got one message, which was a spam from them. Name: "CreditReport.com" Subject: Complimentary credit score for you. So the 'alert e-mails' do not exist, only their spam does. As far as canceling, the guy I talked to was very nice and cancelled my membership and gave me a confirmation number, and told me that my membership runs out at the end of the month. Hopefully this is the last statement that I see this charge on.

I never requested or signed up for this service. I never even went to their website.

I have been charged for two months now and have not been able to get in touch with them but found another number on one of the above comments and will try that tomorrow.

I called them up after noticing the charge 30 days after getting a credit report. I told them to cancel service but was charged the following month. I called back, and canceled again the day of the second monthly charge, and was told that my account was not properly canceled but the cancellation number I had been provided was valid. I asked to be transferred to a supervisor who looked at my account and found that the notes on my account confirmed my cancellation request but it had not been processed. I am told my charge is being refunded automatically for canceling on the day of the charge, and this time I actually received an email confirming my cancellation. The email contains a 7 digit confirmation number. I called the [protected] number that was listed above, and was not on hold for more than a few minutes.

Let do a class action suit and sew them out of bussiness anyone know some laywers. you can use my name as a complaint. They need to pay for this ###. And the site needs a red mark on my firewall right now its green like its legitamit i didnt charge my credit card i am going to the bank to block the charge, but if that doesnt work, i am closing that account and opening a new one. As well try to transfer your balance then cancel that credit card and also credit card companies have the power to stop it by not giving the company your money, if they decide to not help you swear to them that you will never use their card ever again. Caue they are rooking you just like minicredit they give that company the money or not and charging you so you cant close your dam account.

I found a simple solution to cancel this account. As a few comments before have said, I did not receive any useful information from the monthly fee of 11.95 per month I was being charged.

What worked for getting this cancelled for me was, and I quote. "You can either cancel this account right now, or you can transfer me to your supervisor right now." (Unfortunately the representative I spoke with was very zealous about retaining my 111.95 per month and kept making recommendations that I keep the service for another couple weeks)

Then I said, "Give me a supervisor right now." the representative promptly canceled my account and transferred me to a supervisor who was very courteous about verifying for me that the account was canceled.

Hope this helps you.

I called [protected] and spoke to "Sylvia" she was able to cancel my account, but was not able to refund anything. The web address they were doing business under is www.creditreport.com, she did give me a cancellation confirmation number so if future charges show up, I have recourse.

If a class action lawsuit is started, please notify me.

We are being charged on our debit card through the bank after cancelling everything. More cancelations and the 'business' just keeps taking money out of our account. Now we will have the bank take care of this theft problem by paying a $35.00 fee which will be about the only way we can find to stop this criminal act. How come there isn't any way to stop such blatant disrespect?

Similar situation. Total fraud. Call [protected]. Always ask to speak to their manager/supervisor. Note their names. Submit complaint to BBB online. People I spoke with in this company (mighty net, Inc) likely belongs to Creditreport.com. ... I spoke with Jennifer Hecker, then Alon?, then Rafael Molina? Got a refund for half of my charges. They also cancelled my continued subscription which I never ordered. I never received any email from these guys previously to know what was going on. They give you same redundant story. Have lots of time and persistence when you call.

I will wait and see if they really cancelled my subscription or if they will refund as they promised.
