I have been fighting with this company since they were LogistiCare and everything is a chore with them. I have to call about every reimbursement payment after submitting trip logs and waiting at least a couple weeks and it doesn't matter when I call they tell me it's scheduled for the following week. It's like they only process it after I call. I get confirmation receipts from the fax when it's received so they quit using the excuse of never receiving them.
But the reason for this complaint is because they shorted me $20 on my last payment and everything I have read states the reimbursement rate for West Virginia is $0.54/mile but ModivCare only pays us $0.50/mile. I understand that's not a significant difference for each individual but if they are intentionally underpaying everyone it equals large sums of money from Medicaid they are profiting and they are already making millions on each state contract regardless of how badly the members are treated in every way ModivCare is supposed to be serving us.
They shouldn't be allowed to get additional contracts if they are going to take advantage of any opportunity to steal from reimbursements or leave ill patients stranded at their doctors or causing them to lose their doctors completely when they are forced to cancel appointments with zero notice when ModivCare doesn't show up. They always find a way to blame the members even when mistakes were made by the company and we have zero control or influence over the actions of their employees but it's us that get punished while this company continues to make millions they have not earned.
Can I please get some clarification on why they are shorting West Virginia gas reimbursements but state they pay the correct amount?

Desired outcome: Explanation for taking a small amount from every member to profit significantly when they are already compensated millions. I can provide documentation as well.
