I’m a 100% disabled veteran and the veteran administration was paying my bills. In the ICU I had an I.V. placed in my arm which was ignored and do to their negligence it did major damage to my left arm. I contacted BayCare about the damage and any kind of fair and equitable settlement but the only response I could receive was “sorry you’re not happy with our service”. During my stay they also tried to unplug my life support, but my doctor and family would not allow it, only strengthening my belief that they where trying to do as little as possible as far as my care. I was brought into the hospital because I pulled my back out, ended up on life support and almost lost my arm. The staff, from there administration to the there nursing have no compassion for the patient and need to be re-educated on how to perform their job correctly.
