Movex review: Bait and switch scam 3

Warning! This Company operates on a "Bait and Switch" method. I unknowingly accepted a Household moving bid (Ca. to Ga.) from an agent of this company (not disclosed until I had paid a $1000 deposit on U-ship.com). I initially submitted an inventory of all items to be loaded by myself for shipping. After they got my deposit, the agent and Movex changed the entire bid to a per foot agreement and assured me all my inventory would still ship in this amount of space as indicated by their logistics department. I had to make a payment of $3651 before the truck would arrive ( I learned this the day before the scheduled move date). Of course when loaded onto the truck the inventory went beyond the space Movex (the Professionals) had confirmed. I refused to pay the overage of foot space and they threatened to ship my goods to some storage facility and charge even more until I paid. After talking to Movex operations manager (MOlly Vox), she evidently could not hold my goods for ransome and relented to deliver my household items. But I later found three unauthorized seperate charges on my bank account for a total of $1500.00 and the bank refused to reverse the charges. So I got RIPPED OFF! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH "MOVEX OR STRAIGHT ARROW MOVERS" BOTH OPERATE ON "BAIT/SWITCH" UNETHICAL!

I had a very disappointing experience with MOVEX as well (no truck on moving day)! I found their attitude concerning the issue was indifferent. I attempted to speak with company president Stuart Suddath three times about my issue. He would not take the time to speak with me. If the company president doesn't care about customers, who does?

Not the best company to go with by any means. their excuse when they don't have a truck (because they broker most of their moves out) is always the truck broke down...

Steve Suddath is acutally the owner of Suddath. That just goes to show you how much they really care about their customers when they lied to you like that. In the moving industry Suddath is often refered to as "Sudden Death" by other moving companies. This is because they are a very large company and they buy smaller moving companies. This is terrible because the smaller companies are capable of providing better service than Suddath. The company does not even perform drug tests or background checks on their employess because almost all of the managers are partying and taking illegeal drugs. I know because I worked at their corporate office and witnessed all of this first hand. The president of the company is a cocaine head and "a lot" of the other people their smoke marijuana and take illegeal drugs. Is this a company you want in your house? Would you trust a company like this with all of your stuff? They don't care about their customers, they only care about making money, whatever the cost.
