Neogov.com is a website that some government or public agencies have been using for employment applicant processing. I had signed up on this site and had my employment applicant information in their database. Recently, when I tried to apply for a job with edison state college which uses neogov. com I could not access my account because the website did not recognize my email or account and attempting to get user id and/or password reset also did not work. When I tried contacting them at [protected] or at [protected] I would get automated messages which would get repeated and no one would pick up the phone to assist and when the automated message asked to leave a message and call back number I did on or about monday November 18, 2013. No one called me back for 3 days and when I did get a call they left a message when I was not available and again when I called back no one would pick up and the same thing got repeated again and again. By thursday November 21, 2013, the deadline to apply for the job came up and since I could not get anyone Neogov to help with retrieving my application information on their site, I then decided to start allover to apply for the job and the deadline 11.59 pm to file passed by 2 minutes before I could complete the application. I lost my job opportunity because Neogov did not assist me retrieve my job application information. When I tried to contact them at another extension (where someone by the name Neal picked up the phone) and wanted to speak to a manager about this, this person claimed he was a manager and I could talk to him. When I tried to explain to him how I missed the deadline because neogov would not respond and assist me in a timely manner, he said he was going to connect me to the customer support line and when I told him no one would pick up the phone at that line and I needed to complain about this, he hung up on me. I don't think government or public agencies should use neogov as it is not a facilitator but a problem for jobs seekers.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Having a similar problem. Neogov no longer recognizes my e-mail address, Called the 4442 number three times today w/ no pick-up.
Have e-mailed twice.
As with Fort Myers, FL, I too have called and left multiple messages for a return call due to my being locked out of my account. Their steps to help are bogus and goes no where. Does these companies know of the sorry customer support that this company offers?
I actually give them less than one star. Their customer support to help job applicants is atrocious. I have been locked out my application account for over two weeks and all my calls and leaving voice mail messages for assistance have gone unanswered. The claim they will return the call in one business day but usually within 1-2hrs. is a lie; it never happened for me. Lousy customer service to applicants applying for positions at the companies using this farce.
I tried to post the above review on their "Be the first to write a review for NeoGov", their web page would not upload the post. Dismal performance.
