On a daily basis I receive emails, phone calls, and letters regarding Re-Financing and didn't consider it until recently due to the low rates
On a daily basis I receive emails, phone calls, and letters regarding Re-Financing and didn't consider it until recently due to the low rates. I heard about Network Capital through my local radio News Channel WTOP in Maryland. Amongst several quotes from various lenders, Network Capital came out on top. I'd like to give special recognition to Adam Bornstein for his EXCELLENT Customer Service. From the very beginning, he understood my goals and what I was looking to accomplish with my Re-Finance. Adam answered all of my questions, was patient throughout the process, and provided service with a smile. I'd also like to recognize Davina CorderyUhlenhopp for getting us across the finish line and closing the deal in a timely manner. Overall, Adam & Davina exceeded my expectations and I'd recommend Network Capital to those who are interested in Re-Financing!

Network Capital was recommended to me by a good friend, his particular refinance went through pretty fast
Network Capital was recommended to me by a good friend, his particular refinance went through pretty fast. Working with Carly and Melissa was an easy experience, even though we had a "slight hiccup" with the details of what we ideally wanted to achieve. By the way, not their fault. We wanted to get a lower APR rate for our mortgage, close down 2 car payments, close our credit card, and even got cash back to pay off our solar roof loan. A special thank you to Melissa Bev "Closing Processor", she was extremely patient with our "Slight hiccup" and she went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly. The house appraisal and the Notary was booked by Melissa very efficiently. The documentation process, digital uploads, electronic signatures was so easy with her guidance. We wish we had refinanced sooner but we thought it would be an arduous experience, it wasn't. Once again a huge thank you. we definitely recommend Network Capital.

This company has called at least once a weekday, although I've asked the last 3 times to quit calling me. After I tell them that we sold the property they are calling about, they start asking me more information about where we moved, etc. I never give this out over the phone and always ask - again - to be taken off of their list. They are such a nuisance!
Email sent to National Capital-Early March , I had applied for a rate/ term refinance on a 30yr fixed mortgage (appx. April ) with Yianni Sakkoulas NMLS ***, with him, it was also stated that I could also reduce my rate by .25% after 6 months with possibly just a new appraisal and some small fees (confirmed on at least 3 calls); apparently this was not true as this offer is only for 'returning customers' and not exactly a "customer loyalty program" or 'guaranteed benefit' of doing business, as vaguely disclosed. Pure deception and non disclosure. Obviously seemed too good to be true and he was never able to provide this in writing. There were apparently "some conditions" but yet he assured me it was available (misdirection). His assurance encouraged me to move forward, but ultimately my DTI was slightly too high to proceed, so I decided to hold off till I sold an additional property and I could improve my DTI, credit score and ultimately scenario of savings, when I was ready.10/10: I received a call from ***/ NMLS *** at 17:42 (less than 10mn conversation) on a Sunday, The call was a follow up on my previous application from earlier April with Yanni. I briefly explained to *** that I just closed escrow on my AZ property the previous tuesday, 10/05, to sell that AZ property. I was simply waiting for my remaining debts to be paid off and cleared (via credit reporting for best competitive refinancing options), improve my FICO score and then, and only then, re-considering National Capital's firm financing options. The following morning (10/11), I received a credit pull alert at 11:00am and an application email (15:26, 10/12)) of inaccurate credit disclosures, inaccurate demographics and much confusion. At no time whatsoever did I ever give approval for a credit pull, receive any disclosures per FCRA guidelines or agree to an application at that time. This went completely against my goals, industry experience and expectations of this conversation. My patience to improve my credit score would have increased my marketing competitiveness for savings in both rate and cost over the life of my l loan, which was my only goal from the initial outreach to Network Capital in April. Now I am being "guaranteed exceptions" by *** to move forward (with chuckling in the background). His solution, along with his 'rapid rescore team' was to apparently pull my credit, yet again, towards the end to "see what they can do". This does not make any of this right. -PULL THE CALLS.This amount of deception, lack of disclosures and forced sales attempts is an unethical practice at both firm and individual level and will cost me thousands to compete with what is now an increasing rate environment over the life of my loan, non affording any time for corrections. Per FCRA, this is an unacceptable practice and behavior. I feel victimized and insulted by this experience and it must be addressed, corrected and prevented for future occurrences. These consultants and sales reps along with their culture needs to be addressed, it is both a toxic way of doing business and illegal.I demand this credit pull be removed from my credit reporting immediately and am looking into litigation for damages towards what will now cost me thousands due to forced sales tactics and unethical NMLS behavior by National Capital.
at Network Capital is the best. Extremely patient, friendly, prompt with responses and doesn't mind being asked stupid questions that help the borrower. Excellent experience. Ask for him.
Non stop spam calls, up to a dozen a day. All from different 619 area code numbers. I block a number and five minutes later a new 619 number calls. I see the company's response to register with the the do not call list. We've been registered since ***, and I just verified that our numbers are still active on the do not call list.Stop calling me. I do not want to refinance anything and I wouldn't recommend you to my worst enemy. It's more than an "inconvenience". If it's not your company, you need to figure this out. Spamming people will absolutely ruin your business.
I also heard about Network Capital on a San Francisco radio station
I also heard about Network Capital on a San Francisco radio station. I called to explore my options. Jacob Hansen answered immediately and we talked. We discussed rates for a conventional loan. and then I suggested that I was also a disabled veteran. He immediately suggested that a VA loan rate was my best option as a disabled veteran. He gave me some numbers and it looked like I could save over $400 per month from my current 3.75% loan I had for the past 5 years. Jacob did a terrific job and has followed up a number of times. He turned me over to Shannon M. for processing who also did a great job getting me to the finish line and funding over a couple of weeks. The VA requires a monthly impound account for property taxes and home owners insurance. Even adding that to the monthly payment my payment has only gone up slightly and my taxes and insurance are now also taken care of for the year. Thanks to both Jacob and Shannon. Dennis S. Windsor, Ca.

I have to tell you we worked with some other companies in the last year that were inadequate which included our own mortgage co. With that said we were driving and during our first conversation I was very impressed with *** at Network Capital. *** was upbeat, helpful, we were able to tell him our difficulties and rather than a monotone response from him he started helping us with conversations about options. A lot of times you get someone who does not have that personal connection this was NOT the case. Through the process we all worked together and the refinance process was quick and we really do appreciate that. THANK YOU
Company keeps calling my house and asking for my grandmother, who is not even in charge of her own finances. Weve asked them not to call several times, and they now have started spoofing numbers of local businesses, which is not okay. This business is predatory and I do not appreciate them trying to take advantage of the elderly or using my dentists phone number for caller ID information.
They wont stop calling me and there seems to be nothing I can do. Asking them to stop does not help. As soon as you block them, they start calling from another number.
This company could not, refused to, offer me a loan
This company could not, refused to, offer me a loan. They claim they "lend their own money" to make you think they can be flexible in their process. I have a credit rating well into the 800's never in my 60 years a late or missed payment. I have nearly a half million dollars in assrts. In spite of this they claim they have to follow guidelines, the same guidelines every other lender must follow, and could not offer me a refi loan because my income was not adequate for 36 months sustainment. I am retired, I pay myself only what I need, not a penny more. I have annuities that I can turn on anytime and I can document this. This company has zero flexibility to analyze these facts. They asked me to turn the annuities on for a short time, I could turn them off the second closing was complete. Anyone that understands annuities knows if I turn them on their growth stops, harming my future distributions for the remainder of my life. No lender can grasp a person with no W2, Network Capital is no different. Do not believe their claim they are different.
WARNING TO ALL REAL ESTATE APPRAISERS: Network Capital has an 8 month old debt for an appraisal completed. They have ignored every attempt I have made for the last 8 months to collect this debt. Final, and to my surprise, i received a check from them for the original amount due, but none of the late fees and collection cost as of yet. They are on COD ONLY, I suggest all appraisal firms place them on COD only. I am going to stay on them, I'm filing with my states license division in hops of having their license suspended. btw, if there were a rating less than 1 i would have selected it.
Network Capital was great to work with. I got the deal I wanted in record time. *** was quick to react and was easy to reach. Celi made sure I understood the closing documents. Answering all my question and was very accessible. The local representatives were great.I highly recommend Network Capital !
By far the best *** and *** went the extra mile to help and got the job done delivered exactly what they promised from start to finish out beat everyones price and exceeded my expectations. They made me feel like a close friend and family . They cared and didnt make me feel like some companys do. They git my loan funded in 15 days .They respond quickly and email back faster then anyone I know !So by far 100 stars this place cares and you can trust them !Thank you team Network but most thank you *** and *** ! Good will come to you !
Michael Bornstein and his team are amazing
Michael Bornstein and his team are amazing. I generally do not write reviews, but I could not resist when I had this opportunity to express about the excellent experience, I had with Network Capital on my home refinance. I was previously working with another lender who started to be non-responsive through the loan process. The closing date passed the (30) day timeframe they guaranteed and that is when I reached out to Network Capital. I was very fortunate to reach Michael Bornstein. Michael provided us several great Refi options and was extremely helpful in choosing the right path for us. He was very professional and always prompt to respond on any concerns or questions we had thru this process. Julius Clark is very dedicated and worked late in the evenings to assure the loan closed prior to the closing date. The loan closed and the funds were disbursed in just (2) weeks from my initial contact with them. Unbelievable how fast and seamless the process was, and we could not be happier. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a home loan or refi.
Network Capital came to our home through a cold call
Network Capital came to our home through a cold call. I said okay to the caller and was linked to ***, ***. I did a little background search while on the phone, and found *** was speaking truth. After an extremely disappointing month long circus with a local mortgage broker, we went with Network Capital. *** said two to three weeks closing, sometimes quicker. Being in northern *** and having friends wait at least a month for an appraisal, i explained that to ***. *** said we will close quickly once the appraisal is done. We started with *** on Aug. 11th, appraisal Sept. 13th, Network Capital and lender gets the appraisal Sept. 20th. Loan closed Sept. 30th. *** had a vacation leave just prior to Sept. 20th and she gave our loan file to ***. ANOTHER great loan officer from Network Capital. Both *** and *** kept in contact from day one through the closing. Professional, knowledgeable, friendly; no lies, so side steps. Best ever journey with refinancing, and i have done quite a few. My husband and i HIGHLY recommend NETWORK CAPITAL. No reservations.

My experience with Network Capital has been nothing short of amazing
My experience with Network Capital has been nothing short of amazing. Jacob ***, Senior Mortgage Banker and Mario ***, Loan Processor, were both extremely professional and delivered the highest quality customer service experience. Refinancing can be a daunting task and process, especially when you have four co-applicants, some lenders will not even give you the time of day, they do not want to take the time to fill out an application that big, but Jacob *** took the time to understand my situation and worked with me. Both Jacob *** and Mario made it extremely easy and turned the entire process into a great experience all the way through for me and my family. Mario *** was always polite, efficient, and timely. He always returned my calls promptly and was very patient. His communication was always top-notch. He would always ask me if I had any questions, and my answer was always "No, you once again covered everything and answered them all". I highly recommend Jacob *** and Mario *** as a team for your next refinance, both were exceptional to work with. This has been by far my best refinance experience ever.

Had an amazing experience with Lupin
Had an amazing experience with Lupin. Although I called to ask about refinancing, I was really reluctant to commit. Lupin was super patient and let me go at my own pace. He answered ALL my questions and there were a lot of questions since I had just been through a refi 10 months before. Lupin was very supportive of my need to know about every charge and took the time to explain everything sometimes more than once. I appreciated that he would check in to see if I needed help and watched the process closely, prompting me to take action when I missed a call or email from other departments. He knew my goal was to get it done as quickly as possible while keeping the cost down. He was incredibly attentive to details and personally saw that my needs were taken care of at warp speed. This is my third home and about my 8th or 9th refi experience. It has been the best. Usually, in the middle of it, you get handed off to someone else. He remained in the background guiding and checking on me. Total white glove service. Ask for this guy. You will love the experience (Just to clarify, no one paid me to write this. When you get really good or bad service you tend to want the world to know) Oh, so good and the cherry on top, lower payments, awesome interest rate, saving me a boatload.

So I wanted to transfer my *** to ** and filled out a form online
So I wanted to transfer my *** to *** and filled out a form online. It went to several lenders. *** would not stop calling! Ha ha. So, I finally answered and said I didn't think I could do it right now because of some extenuating circumstances. *** was not pushy, but persistent and *** kindly for an opportunity to see if he could help. He even gave me 24 hours to think about it before asking for any confidential information. He called back the next day and we had a great conversation. I decided to give them a chance. They are moving quickly, but methodically. I am impressed even though our rate went up. However, I will be rid of that awful *** for *** and I get to use the benefits for which I served. Yes, there is still work that needs to be done imterms of underwriting, but the appraisal is happening less than 2 days of my contact with ***! So far, *** is representing *** very well...and because I know the industry, if underwriting asks for something I will give it to them ***. I also understand that if there are hiccups with debt or credit, the rate may need to be relocked at some point. Most people complain because they don't understand the process. Things are more regulated evwr since the 2008 mortgage crisis. Again, this company has been great so far and I do not anticipate any problems that will be caused bybthe way they do business. Very professional people. Especially, *** from the *** Office!"
I wanted to refi
I wanted to refi. I went to a close family friend in the business and he said he could only lower my rate by 0.75% with half a point. I didn't owe that much, so he told me it really wasn't worth it. I started shopping direct lenders. I heard about Network Capital on the radio, I was very skeptical, so I did a lot of research. I also was hesitant to provide personal info while I was just shopping. Probably because I was so difficult, they handed me off to Nick Tull, who explained everything very well. He also made it very clear that, even though I have excellent credit, I may not get the best rates, due to the small loan size. He got me a 15 year with a rate that was 1.125% lower with no points and very low costs. I had about 11 years remaining on my existing loan. I calculated that, if I kept making the same payment with the new loan, I would pay off my mortgage in less than 10 years. My existing loan P&I for 12 months, less the cost of the loan, meant over $13,000 savings. This savings made it worth doing. The whole process was relatively quick and painless. The only hiccup was the handoff to the processor, but I think the problem was mostly caused by the local title company. Nick was very responsive in helping to resolve the issues. I might only give 4.5 stars, if I could, since it wasn't perfect, but I give them the benefit of the doubt, due to how busy they are right now, and that the only issue was likely not their fault. I highly recommend NC, and have sent friends and family to Nick.
I am not one for writing reviews
I am not one for writing reviews. However, I will when I get outstanding service. I have been going round and round with multiple companies trying to refinance my second house. So many that my TransUnion credit score has gone way down with all the credit pulls. I am retired and on the older end of the life scale and therefore my income is from my investments and not a job. That seemed to be a problem for several companies and I was declined. (That amazed me as my source of income is exactly the same as it was when I bought the house two years ago and I got that financing.) One company said they needed more and I gave it to them and then never heard from them again. I moved on but that deal wasn't that good. Next was Network Capital after hearing their radio ad again. The person I end up with is Zachary G. I explained what I had been going through and he assured me he would make it happen. Along with his teammate Travis Dick who got the "right" status for the house, the process is almost done. Yes, it has taken a bit longer but that is because of my special circumstances and the volume of loans they are dealing with. No, it is not the advertised radio rate but I don't meet the higher loan level that is for. The BEST thing is, the loan is getting refinanced with a very good deal and for 51% of the rate I have been currently paying! I would have loved to get that down to 50% but I won't quibble over .0625%. I would definitely recommend working with Network Capital. Make sure to ask for Zachary. He speaks the truth. He tells you what can and cannot be done and why. That is more than I got from anyone else. He is truly interested in making it work for his clients. That is much appreciated and the way I did business until my last customer.
I wanted to do a cash-out mortgage to do a home remodel
I wanted to do a cash-out mortgage to do a home remodel. Juan *** and Joseph *** from Network Capital made the process painless. Even though I have been with my current mortgage company for decades, I decided to do some research as to what was out there. Most lenders I removed from my list right away for one reason or another. It was down to Network Capital and my current lender. My current lender's terms were good, but Network Capital surprisingly came back with a better rate and lower closing costs. I told my lender I was going with Network Capital and they wanted to see Network Capital's estimate. They then beat it with even lower closing costs and a lower interest rate. I also had a trust to deal with that would incur a cost. I went back and forth between the two for a while and my current lender was eventually the lowest. So, why did I end up going with Network Capital? Customer service has always been my first priority with any company I do business with and Juan *** provided excellent customer service for Network Capital. He was always available to answer my emails and calls and no question was a dumb one. I highly recommend asking for him by name. The loan processor, Joseph *** was equally responsive. I could not get a hold of my current lender's loan processor to ask any questions. Another deciding factor was the time it would take to process my loan. Joseph told me it would take 2 weeks and my current lender said not sooner than 60 days. I really didn't believe it would take 2 weeks, but I figured it would definitely be sooner than 60 days. In exactly 2 weeks, I had my funds. The entire process was the easiest I've ever had to go through. I highly recommend Juan *** and Joseph Francia from Network Capital for your mortgage needs.

I had a very unpleasant experience with this company
I had a very unpleasant experience with this company. After hearing a number of its advertisements on the radio about refinance interest rates, I telephoned the company on November 2nd or 3rd and spoke with a representative about refinancing my home with a 30 year fixed rate mortgage. The advertised rate for this type of loan was 2.25% with a slightly higher APR. Even though I was looking for a conforming loan with a very low loan-to-value ratio, the rate quoted to me over the telephone was substantially higher than what was advertised. I indicated that I was not interested in the loan on the terms quoted and ended the call after the company's represented that I was no longer interested in pursuing the matter further. Subsequent to my telephone call, I started receiving telephone calls from inquiring whether I was interested in a refinancing loan. I indicated to the first, second and third caller that I had already advised the company that I was not so interested and that I did not want to receive any further calls from the company. I was advised that my name and telephone number would be placed on the company's "no call" list and that I would receive no further calls. In fact, I continued to receive such calls numerous times during the day for at least a week. Sometimes when I picked up such a call, no one answered on the other end. When someone did answer on the other end, it was a new representative making the same sales pitch as all of the other calls. I consider this barrage of calls to be harassment and to be very annoying and upsetting. I have written directly to the company to complain about their sales practices but to date have received no response. However, the calls have finally stopped but I believe other potential customers of this business should be aware of the abusive marketing practices conducted by this company.

I signed up on Lending Tree looking to refinance my loan last week
I signed up on Lending Tree looking to refinance my loan last week. Soon after I started getting about 4 calls daily on average from Network Capital associates. Often time they're calling from areas that don't even service the loan in my area. Despite the fact that I was already working with one of their associates, I still kept getting the calls from other associates introducing themselves and trying to get me to work with them. You get the sense that there is no centralized system to verify where in the pipeline you are, as their customer. Or they just don't care and are competing over each other trying to get you to sign with them. Coming to the reason for the 1-star review. The associate I worked with, mentioned very attractive rates; rates I had to know were too good to be true. She mentioned over the phone that there will be 0 loan origination fees, and the only expense I will incur is the escrow charges, title transfer fees, and possibly appraisal fees, the total of which would come to approximately $3000. Based on the amount of loan she was servicing me for, I would save on average about $300 per month, recouping my expenses within a year. All good so far. But after running my credit check, she informs me that these rates are available AFTER an interest buy down that varies from 2.5% to 1.9% which works out to $20000 - $17000 on top of the $3000 she initially quoted. No further explanation was given as to why she did not mention that initially, or the basis on which she decided we would be interested in a interest buy-down. Now, I have a credit check on record with no tangible results to show for. Their email proudly advertises this - "Low Rates! No Application or Lender Fees! Really Fast Closings!" Why not mention the exorbitant buy down fees they add on, in order to give those "Low Rates"? I would strongly advise prospective borrowers to please verify all facts and fees and get them in writing before handing over your SSN, personal and financial details to them.

*** had two positive experiences with Network Capital as a mortgage lender
had two positive experiences with Network Capital as a mortgage lender. First, when I first bought my house two years ago, and just very recently on refinance. Each time, I contacted a half-dozen lenders and got competing bids from at least 3. Each time, *** readily and quickly matched or beat its competitors. They were accommodating in several ways; for instance, they managed to waive the otherwise unpalatable appraisal fee in both occasions. (In fact, when I first dealt with *** back in the day, they were extremely aggressive to the point of rudeness on getting a credit-card number on file to pay for the appraisal. I was very turned off and they only gained my business by managing to waive the appraisal fee and pricing the loan aggressively at the time.) On refinance, they managed to roll closing costs into the loan, so I did not have to pay out of pocket (okay; maybe ten bucks or so). Their closing times were also the shortest. This speediness was overall a good thing, but there were some drawbacks: When the original loan originated, some of the paperwork has hurried and not double-checked ahead of time, leading to a stressful half-hour or so right at the title companys office. On refinance, the schedule was so aggressive that they were not able to locate a notary to close on the evening on the original date (since the paperwork wasnt ready until afternoon!) but had to postpone for one more day, and I never even got to see the final closing package in full ahead of time, only the closing cost estimates. I also got only a 164-page printed package of closing docs, and not an electronic version thereof: strange in this day and age. The original loan was sold immediately and was serviced by a different lender for two years. Now *** refinanced and I expect the same to happen; in fact, I believe theres a paragraph on the closing documents where its explicitly stated that they intend to sell the loan. This contradicted promises, at least those made in 2019, that *** would never sell my loan, but I do not much hold this against them. Just dont trust verbal promises from *** or any entity and always refer to the legal papers. There were also verbal promises as to the ease of refinancing in case of dropping rates (words like automatic were said in 2019 phone conversations). This turned out to be more or less nonsense as I had to go through the whole process all over again, and their original 2021 offer decreased to the tune of four figures once I made them compete with other lenders. Again, dont trust verbal overpromises, just the numbers and ink on paper. I have also never had business with a company so incredibly persistent in continuing the business relationship. As soon as the rates dropped a fraction of a fraction of a percentage point, they would relentlessly send mail (like, every week or two), plus call and leave messages, at some point even after 9pm at night. Their marketing department seems completely disconnected from the rest of the company; I got 2 or 3 calls just in the days before *closingwith them, one of them literally on the day of closing. When the caller identified himself as , it took a while to figure out that he had absolutely no idea I was already in the middle (more like the tail end) of a new transaction; I had naturally assumed that the call was in connection to the ongoing loan rather than just a generic marketing call. So, theres the very real real nuisance of overaggressive marketing.About the staff I interacted with, Id say they were just about appropriately professional, but seemed more rushed, less sweet talk than other lenders, and more lets get down to business; gimme the competitors numbers so we can beat them. The quality of communication was on the lower end of acceptable, with blackout gaps that would have made a more nervous borrower sweat a bit. The poor lady in charge of making all the closing arrangements seemed to be overwhelmed out of her wits, although she shared it was an extremely busy time (late June ) for refinancing, which provides a measure of explanation. Im sure happy I got my first mortgage (fifteen years ago) working with a local lender, and also refinanced that loan with a different very established national lender back in the day. A less experienced and more skittish me would have probably ended up paying a couple extra thousand dollars just to have the local lender plus handholding experience. In the end, I cannot complain. Once expectations are adjusted as per the experiences I tell in these reviews, in two separate loans from *** (2019 and 2021) I did get the product I wanted at prices I liked each time. I would not necessarily recommend *** for borrowers inexperienced or with little tolerance for snags, only for those who have a better idea of what needs to happen when, who can adapt along the way, and who will be able to read and interpret the terms of the contracts they sign. In any event, I only chose *** each time after they rose as the best lender, buck-for-buck, for what I needed as a borrower, on comparison (by bids) with competitors. On those criteria, I rate them rather highly, say 4 stars out of 5.

I was approved for a loan with Network Capital, signed all of the closing documents, gave them everything that they asked for, paid twice for APPRAISAL ($715.00) and now THEY ARE LIEING *** MAKING UP EXCUSES TO CLOSE MY LOAN. I keep getting different people asking for the same information 10 times like the insurance for the house, proof of this and proof of that, putting the appraisal on hold even after I paid $525.00 and $190.00 for two times that the appraiser was sent out. This mortgage company is scamming people to take their credit cards and charge hundreds of dollars for appraisals 2 times ands NETWORK CAPITAL HAS NO INTENTION OF CLOSING OUR LOAN. They have all of our signed and notarized documents and the loan should be recorded and closed. This mortgage company is misrepresenting their loans, approving you, having your paperwork signed and notarized and then nothing. THEY ARE A SCAM. I am reporting Network Capital to the federal government. They need to be shut down!

Network Capital Funding Corporation calls me multiple times per day from different numbers everyday. I block each number but more numbers call. I am on the national do not call registry and want them to remove me. I have answered one phone call and tried to do this myself but it just made them call more times per day knowing it was a working number. Make this stop immediately!
I am getting 2 calls a day from National Capital Funding Corporation. I have asked to be removed from their call list multiple times. The calls interrupt my daily life and business opportunities. This harrassment must stop.
My husband called them after googling our current morgage lenders ph # and thougt it was them. When the gal answered he asked if it was Freedom Mortgage and she said yes. Its clearly not. Anyways, he worked with Saba who started the process for a refinance when all we were doing was asking questions about a home equity loan. He said several times that's not what we wanted. I finally took the phone and she basically said they don't do home equity loans and this way was better. She gave lots of examples and it made sense, she then stated she need a credit card to put on file for the appraisal and that at a maximum it would be $800. I told her I did not have the card I wanted to use with me so I would have to give it to her the next day. She said she can take any card and that it was not going to be ran. Less than 2 hours later I got an email that that card had been ran for $950 for an appraisal. I emailed her immediately and she said she was working on it and would call soon. She explained what happened with the difference. The next day we decided we weren't going to go with them and requested a refund. I have only been given $800 back and have emailed *** times now requesting the remaining $150 be refunded. That card is going to charge me interest and I need it fixed asap.
This company has illegally been telemarketing my phone for mortgage services which I have never requested. After asking politely to be placed on there DNC list requests were ignored. Regulatory complaint are being filed now along with online reviews regarding there practices of harassing phone calls.
I chose Network Capital Funding to handle my refinance and deeply regret it
I chose Network Capital Funding to handle my refinance and deeply regret it. Phone calls were rarely returned, emails from the *** never were. I had to chase everyone down, including the appraisal desk, and called the appraiser directly to confirm he was sent documents, and he never was. I paid $23,924.98 in closing costs with $0 in lender credits, when I was promised I was receiving the *** they could do. I was told a Notary was going to be at my house 3 days in a row, no one ever came as nothing was ever scheduled. Yesterday the loan was finally funded and I didnt receive the wire on time and didnt get it until again, I contacted them first. They did the same to my father who waited 2 weeks for his wire. The wire I received is NOT correct and short over $1000. I have worked in *** and am well versed in how this process works, including closing, and this has been nothing short of a nightmare. I wish I had never used them for this *** expensive refinance. Stay away.

Network Capitol Funding Corporation continues to call me several times a day on different phone numbers as I continue to block each one. I read a group of other's complaints on Complaintsboard.com and see many others have the same complaint. Also It looks like the others get the same generic response from Net. *** without any resolution. I just want them to stop calling. Please and Thanks.
This company calls me constantly everyday, at least twice using different numbers. I block them, but they continue to call and I'm sick of it! I've never done business with them and don't know why they continue to harass me. Enough is enough! All this scam/spam stuff needs to be stopped, it's illegal! I'm also on the *** list. I should get paid for all of this!
I am getting reguarly spammed by Network Capital from different phone numbers. I have repeatedly asked to be taken off their call list as I am NOT interested in their products. I have never had a business relationship with them. The calls keep coming on my cell phone which has been registered on the Do Not Call list since ***.
I receive multiple calls daily from different numbers every SINGLE day from Network Capital. I have asked already to be placed on a do not call list and this request has gone disregarded. I started blocking each new phone number but every single day I'm called from a different number. I would like these calls to STOP ASAP!
In August I applied for a home refinance with NCFC
In August I applied for a home refinance with NCFC. On August 9th I received approval pending underwriter review and appraisal. They required payment of the appraisal upfront, and I paid them $575 on August 5th. After underwriting and appraisal the loan was scheduled to close on September 20. On Sept. 14 I met with a notary and signed all the closing documents. By September 20 I had not heard anything from NCFC so I called and sent emails to the loan processor with no response for 2 days. Eventually I heard back from the processor who informed me that on final review my loan could not be approved unless I provided $3,000 in new closing costs that had not been identified in the original loan disclosures. I never agreed to end the loan process, but did request additional information. The company ceased communication with me, providing no new loan disclosures or explanation. I am requesting my $575 appraisal costs be returned due to the bad faith actions of this company.

I got a cold call from them. They call me every day. The first time I answered and told the person to stop calling me. Now it rings and no one is there. I block each number that calls. They have called from a different number every day. I do not understand why this tactic is legal/moral/ethical. This is not how a legitimate business operates.
Network Capital Funding Corporation calls my phone daily, sometimes more than once a day, from multiple numbers. I have blocked them each time, and have them on the list of known entities (by name) to be blocked, so I am aware of every call. I have never done business with them, and have no idea how they obtained my information, unfortunately, Im sure its easy to do, and thats what bothers me the mostbecause this company is now using that to their advantage, and harassing me every single day.
I keep getting daily calls from this business through random numbers wanting to speak to "***". I do not know who "***" is and I have already told the representatives to stop calling and to place me in a do not call list, but I still receive calls wanting to speak to "***". I am registered into the FTC's Do Not Call list and this calling behavior can be considered unsolicited and a violation. Numbers include ***5, ***, ***, ***, etc. Very unethical.

This company has been subjecting me to endless harassment calls from dozens of unique numbers (so I can't block them), looking for someone who isn't listed at my number. No matter how many times I beg them to stop calling me, that they have the wrong number, I get another call within minutes. Each person tells me that they're putting me on their Do Not Call list, but then I get called again minutes later. Most refused to even tell me what company they worked for, and the last person I spoke to started openly mocking me on the phone for being upset at the endless harassment. For the love of sanity, do not call this company or do business with them. If they get your number, the calls will never end. I told the last operative, the one who mocked me, that I'd be filing a Complaintsboard.com complaint, at which point he hung up on me. Well, here you go. Disgusting business practices. I'd like to report them for spam or as a scam if I can. Any company that engages in practices like this can't be good.

It has reached the point of harassment. This company calls several times a day. I have blocked them and they keep using different numbers. I would like this company to stop calling me ASAP. I have asked to be put on the do not call list and they just hang up on you and keep calling.
My phone number is on the National Do Not Call List however I have been received consistent phone calls, usually 3-5 a day, from this company. I have never requested information from them regarding refinancing or any other matter. I want the calls to stop. There is no point in blocking the number as they call from a different number almost every time.
I have asked repeatedly for them to stop calling me. I am not interested I block the number but then their number changes and they call the very next day. This has become harassment at this point and needs to stop. They told me for them to take me off the list I had to provide them some information first before the could, i declined obviously and hung up.
The experience with Network Capital Funding started from the begining of the process with closing costs and monthly payment being much higher than initially stated. I almost backed out at closing due to the changes between estimated payment and actual payments. But since everytihng was started and I felt vested, I completed the process. And although I paid my mortgage payment every month since the loan's inception, they failed to pay my homeowners insurance from my escrow. NOW, there is a huge difference that they are putting on me to pay which in turn, once again, increases my monthly payment. The company is inept and borderline criminal in their practice.
Net Cap Funding has called my cell phone ***) over 20 times since 10/19
Net Cap Funding has called my cell phone ***) over 20 times since 10/19. When they initially called I told them I was not interested. The calls continued and I told them to place me on their internal Do Not Call list on 10/21. I am self employed and receive many business calls so I cannot put myself on the National DNC. Instead of stopping the calls after my request, they have instead called repeatedly since. I have answered twice to say I asked you not to call only to be hung up on both times. The most recent incident was on 10/27 at 12:30pm est. They are using a CRM so the calls originate from a similar area code to my cell phone and not the actual number. I pay extra for a service that identified who is calling even if they mask their real number and it is always Net Cap Funding. I want these calls to stop immediately. They call morning, evening, and night every day now and I am well aware that companies that use a CRM have to place people on their own internal DNC list once requested. If this continues I will be taking legal action.

In September we started a process to refinance our home
In September we started a process to refinance our home. We were encouraged to stay with them not take other offers because they said they could make it happen. They offered us a lower payment, lower interest rate and a chance to switch to a conventional loan. After submitting many personal papers to them I asked NUMEROUS times to get a confirmation on receiving them and if they were correct papers. I received nothing. I also sent emails asking. I finally got back with original person who we started the loan with a, ***. He was helpful and promised things were ready to continue and he would do the loan. I had been contacted three times that we were ready to setup and do a signing with a notary. The third time we waited all day. Finally the notary confirmed with us but said they NEVER sent paperwork to him. He suggested I contact them, I did. I then once again got on phone and no answer or by email. On Nov 4th received an email stating a new payment amount and a new contract. I wanted to confirm so I sent and called it is now December and I have heard nothing from these people! This is wrong and they should not be offering to help people when they are not ready or care enough to do what they say. I'm VERY upset and have wasted a lot of time and energy on them for a service they cannot provide.

Mortgage Refinancing Issue with Network Capital on Oct 13, 2021
On October 13, I initiated a mortgage refinancing process with Network Capital Funding Corporation. We agreed on the rate and closing cost, and I gave permission to proceed. A few days later, the terms changed, including an unexpected $250 subordination fee, which I rejected and decided not to close the loan. Subsequently, on September 29, I discovered an unauthorized $250 charge from my PNC bank Equity account. Upon inquiry, my bank informed me it was for an Equity Loan Subordination fee requested by Network Capital. I was very upset by this unauthorized transaction and reached out to the company but received no response. Another broker from the company later indicated a refund was possible if I proceeded with refinancing through them. I consider these tactics unethical and strongly advise against doing business with them. I am requesting a $250 refund.

Have been working with this lender on a refinance since September 2nd on two loans
Have been working with this lender on a refinance since September 2nd on two loans. Signed docs for one loan on October 23. As of October 31, The loan still has not closed or been funded, I am still with my current loan server. It took three appointments for them to get the docs to the notary for signature. For my other property, it has been twice they set up the signing and did not come through. The bad thing is that out of the three people I have been dealing with, no one communicates to me about anything, It is always me having to try to get in touch with them. My calls go unanswered, and messages are not returned. I feel as though I have been abandoned, left in limbo, and uncertain about what steps to take. I signed the first set of docs, and I know I had three days to rescind. After 7 days, the loan has not closed or funded. Do I just wait around, in hopes they may call me soon, or can I go to another lender...I have no idea. I feel these people are in the habit of lying to customers. They promise things that even while they are telling you, they know they will not deliver. I was told not to pay my mortgage for October because the loan would fund by then, or I would receive a call telling me to go ahead and pay it. Fortunately, I did not listen to them. they did not call me, nor were they returning my calls. I decided to pay my mortgage to avoid any late fees, or negative reporting. I really wish I was able to put the three names of the individuals I have been dealing with, but it is against Complaintsboard.com policy.

I have been working for months to refinance my house through Network Capital Funding (NCF), first through Spencer S***, then with Ryan Fall
I have been working for months to refinance my house through Network Capital Funding (NCF), first through Spencer S, then with Ryan Fall. They run a radio ad offering 2.25% financing, no points, no fees. Well, this wasn't true, they charged me 1.625 points "because my loan amount was too small", I accepted the bait and switch because it was still better than my current rate. I finally signed my closing docs on 11/5 and discontinued payments to my current mortgager as the loan was set to pay off my loan with remaining interest. I emailed Ryan after a couple weeks to confirm I could discontinue my existing loan and that Network Capital would be paying my property tax (which was wrapped into the loan). He emailed me back and he said the underwriters required a signed statement that our home was not affect by the CA wildfires (which were far from my home). We sent that letter promptly but were not able to get a response whether they letter had been received or what the status of the loan was. I called an spoke to Anthony at NCF about a week later, he said he would call me back with information, but he never did. The next I spoke to another rep at NCF who told me to email "***@networkcapital.net", the email was blocked and returned. I just emailed "[protected]@networkcapital.net" with another request for update. Network Capital Funding has been negligent in the processing of this loan and non-responsive to my requests for information. Were it not for their website and testimonials, I am beginning to wonder if they are a fabricated company. At very least they are reportable to the Complaintsboard.com for unresponsiveness, negligence and causing me financial harm and distress.

Regarding a home mortgage refinance process
Regarding a home mortgage refinance process. From September 9 to December 3, we have experienced what I would classify as incompetent support. we experienced repeated requests for documents on separate occasions, failed coordination with EQUIFAX to confirm our existing mortgage information, we needed to complete this coordination/conference call twice...Lack of return calls regarding the loan application status,,Requirement for $1,600 to be paid at closing without adequate explanation for the need. We were originally told that the only out-of-pocket costs would be for the home appraisal (paid $560) and Termite Inspection (paid $200). Two days before scheduled closing, request for additional documents, i.e., Home Owners Association Statement that shows membership dues are current and paid. And a day before scheduled closing a request for Home Insurance Declarataion pages for our primary residence and rental Property. As noted above, a day later after requesting additional documents, our closing was scheduled for December 3, 1800 hrs at our residence. Closing agent (Notary) failed to show up as scheduled with any advance notice of appointment cancellation. NCFC closing agent apologized for the missed appointment by the Notary and offered to reschedule the closing. However, due to family illness in Chicago, I needed to travel there to help family relatives. Because of the family illness as well as unrelated circumstances, my wife and I will not pursue the loan refinance process. Living on a fixed retirement income, we also cannot afford the loss of $760 that we paid in advance for the Home Appraisal and Termite Inspection. Not to toot my horn, I am a former U.S. Marine decorated combat veteran honorably discharged in 1968. Semper Fi

Where do I start?
Where do I start? This was my worst experience with any brokerage/lending firm. Initially, they advertised a 2.25% rate but as the progress started they came back with a sloppy answer being "the rate is no longer available." Almost 21 days into the refinance, I had not heard back from anyone, so I decided to check in, and the excuse I received was our systems were overwhelmed, and it caused internal IT issues. Towards the end of the process, the notary was scheduled, and I took time away from work to attend the signature and closure. They dropped the ball and didn't make the deadline. I asked for some sort of concession and the response I received back was less than pity - "well. The company doesn't need the business given the time and era we're in." Almost 50 days later, we closed, and I decided to check with the previous lender for a paid in full balance statement. To my surprise, no payment had been made, and I had to again reach out on the status. I was transparent with them and mentioned that I would be leaving a bad review. Thread w/CAUTION. Update - I spoke with Baron Morledge (he reached out to me and requested a call back), who made this experience worse. He tried explaining and padding that the entire mortgage industry is going through a burden of applications and is basically overwhelmed. I called Navy Federal, and they gave me the opposite saying "we will get your loan funded in 21 days." I explained to Baron that my review was left on my experience with Network Capital and their associated vendors. As the conversation carried, he offered a gift card for the removal of the online feedback left. It felt as he if was trying to buy me off, and I explained to him that this was left onto the principle of them not having the vendor relationships they should have with all companies they work and nothing personal.

In July , an agent named Adelle contacted me about mortgage refinance
In July , an agent named Adelle contacted me about mortgage refinance. I was told that Network Capital had a very low percentage interest rate. I finally gave in on Sept. 15, 2020, to proceed with documentation that mentioned what could be my new lower rate and I needed to provide all my info. I was constantly called on by phone and sent emails everyday for info Adelle need from me. I had finished providing everything Adelle needed on 9/28, plus signed documents. I also needed to pay to get an appraisal that charged me $525 and got an invoice from AMSA. Once the appraisal was done on 10/12, I was told by AMSA that appraisal was completed and sent to Network Capital. This is when I hardly heard from the agent Adelle, I email and call Adelle with no response. I would get replies that there systems were down and they were trying to catch up with clients. On 10/30, they had documents ready for me to sign to close the rate. But, they started seeing problems that I had properties that were mine and I need to provide proof that they were not. In the meantime, I had to continue paying my mortgage bill with a $25 fee due to faxing info to Network Capital. So, I gave them time to look over what they requested and tried reaching Adelle on the status but got nothing, until 12/21 I find out Adelle had quit leaving my status inactive. I was able to reach another agent Wendy that sounded promising, so I gave her time only to find out I was getting the run around. Every time it was the same excuses, they have to many clients and are playing catchup. I gave her my info that she needed to update my account only to never hear from her as well. The first time I sent pending items to Wendy was on 12/24. Never heard from them, so I had hard time reaching Wendy just to give her more updated info on 1/12. From there on they have been completely denying me service after I had spent $550.

The Appraiser, Services, picked by an agency appraised my 3 bedroom condo incorrectly
The Appraiser, Services, selected by an agency, appraised my 3 bedroom condo as a 2 bedroom, reducing its square footage, for $340K compared to other 2 bedroom condo sales. My condo was zoned, built, purchased, and assessed as a 3 bedroom unit, with a garage and attic. A Realtor's Comparative Market Analysis valued the condo at $405-425K based on recent sales of similar properties. After several appeals, the Appraiser increased the appraisal to $380K for a 2 bedroom unit. I appealed again, and the Appraiser corrected the number of bedrooms to 3 but kept the appraisal at $380K, comparing it with four 2 bedroom condos and one 3 bedroom condo. It's clear that qualified Appraisers are needed who understand the properties they appraise. Online platforms and public records confirm that I own a 3 bedroom, 2 bath condo with a garage and 2 parking spaces, assessed at $357,180, which is lower than market value. My request for a new appraisal was denied, with the claim that second appraisals usually match the first, and the belief that the initial appraisal was sound. The agency then suggested a lesser loan package that matched the flawed appraisal, which did not meet my refinancing needs. Consequently, I stopped payment for the appraisal service due to incompetence. It's a warning to be cautious of the appraisal practices and their checks and balances. I am requesting a refund for the $520 appraisal fee.

The company agents have been consistently delaying my refinancing process for my mortgage
The company agents have been consistently delaying my refinancing process for my mortgage. I initially applied to refinance my mortgage back in September and was approved around October/ November . They set a signing date in late November to close but the day off signing they said my documents were incomplete; they could not get employment verification. I called them and gave them several contact numbers of my employment agency. I am a travel nurse and have made them aware of it since the beginning. They rescheduled the signing date about a week later. However, same thing happened. They said they could not get employment verification. At this point I was nearing the end of my employment contract and was about to switch agencies. I submitted my new travel agency including my contract, paystubs, employment history, everything they ask for. I kept in touch and followed up with it every week. I knew this was going to delay everything but they kept saying that they have everything they need and have been communicating with the my new employment agency for verification. But it took them 2 months to set a new closing date. The loan processor called me on 1/29 and said theyre ready to close again and assigned a notary agent. But the same thing happened; notary agent said that she never received the documents. The loan processor said its because its incomplete again. He will reschedule closing date for 1/30. Today, it is getting canceled again because they need my property tax info which was supposedly have been taken care of back in November . Throughout this process they have been lying and giving false information that everything is set and moving. Theyve set 4 closing dates and which they failed to deliver. I have spent money on this process, turned down other offers when market was at better rate, and affected my credit score. They seem to keep doing this delaying tactic in order to make more money since rates are higher and my closing cost too

This company is staffed by complete [censored]s! They have inundated my cell phone with solicitation calls 24/7 and when I do take the call and ask to be removed from their call list, I get either hung up on or told it will take 3-weeks to remove and the f*** calls KEEP COMING! Net Cap Funding is a SCAM. And if the management group is reading this from Net Cap Funding...have a reality check session with your staff. People DO NOT want companies like yours calling and giving us the happy *** flowers and *** bears song and dance about refinancing, OK? So STOP CALLING! Get a different job if you can't understand this review. PM *** - Irritated WA State Home Owner
