This company they call ''NEW ERA TELECOM'' is full of bull ###. They took money into my account without my authorization and when I called their ''customer service '' they told me It is a settlement agreement. Or at the beginning they said they won't take money into my account without my permission. Actually I filed a complain for fraud against them.
Please do not subscribe to their fake services they are LIARS and will take all your money.

I agree, I called new era to cancell my service and the guy who answered said somebody will call us next week to verify credit card information but nobody called, I called again lady answer and she said my service was never cancelled and i told her to cancell my service now and get my deposit back she give me 50 minute free to stay with them i said i'm moving out of the country and she transferred to her supervisor and she ask me why why several times
and she said she is going to refund my money in 120 days

new era never be their customer coz they are fraud there are several
other company who respect their customer but new era is ###
they don't know ###, , to discontinue and join services should be very simple why they are making it so complicated my advice buy a phone card and call that way you save money and don't have to deal with bunch of stupid...

Hi All,
Never deal with this New Era Telecommunication. They are cheater and all sales representative just waiting for the moment when you give your credit card. Once you give out your credit card information, you are gone. They going to charge you. When they called me, i said i am not interested in your service. But they charged me as i gave my credit card information earlier...how stupid i am :( . Anyway, i called their customer service but no one has any professionalism and will never say SORRY. When we ask for credit, they will say it will take 2 months! well i was just waiting for them to credit after 2 monts, one representative call me today and told me that i passed the credit but my credit card somehow blocked so you have give me another card number...again i made a same mistake ...i gave another number to get my credit...then he started talking about their deal. i said i do not want to listen...then he said OK then i will charge again to this another credit card...DO WHATEVER YOU WANT TO DO...So please be careful with this company.

They are the worse crook out there and I am surprised know authority is doing anything about them, they keep taking advantage of people and no one is doing anything about it. I was duped by them.I was given a promotional rate by their associate and when I got my bill they charged me a different rate. I called them and they promised to reduce the rate but I just didn't want to have anything to do with them anymore and I cancelled the plan only for them to hold on to my deposit. If I only researched them before signing into their schemes but it is a lesson learned and whoever is reading this beware and be-warned.

Recently my wife's debit card was debited for $38.54 for either a phone or phone services which was never authorized. I have no idea how this company obtained her debit card number although we have been flooded with calls from the Philippines trying to sign her up for its services. Telecom may or may not be the same company, however, she must now go to her bank to obtain another card before this company continues to debit her account every month hereafter for non-existent services.

Can any one tell me if you got your refund of $38.54 back? I called this company bc i had the service 1st they said they will charge 4c a min to Fiji, and 1st month they charged me 40c a min. I called to cancel, but it was never done. I am trying to get my deposit back but cant they keep making some xcuzez.

I notice the last comment was on Oct 2012 yet. Unfortunately, it's Feb 2013 and the New Era agents are at it again. This time they called my husband. He refused the offer and kept saying that he wasn't interested. The agents wouldn't stop calling... and each time became more rude. When my husband asked to talk to the supervisor, the person who took the call seemed to just be another agent because there was no professionalism at all. When he asked to talk to the manager, the agent deliberately refused. I'm not sure if this is a legitimate call center (call center agents wouldn't be this unprofessional... I think...) I'm trying to find where this can be reported. If i find anything, I will update here.

This company called us a while back and spoke to my wife and she agreed to sign up with them, but there was some trouble with the credit card transaction while they were still on the phone with my wife, and so my wife told them she wasn't interested anymore and not to charge the card, so they said ok. Next day I noticed I had a $38.95 charge from that company so I called them and told them to refund me that amount and they were simply refusing to do it and coming up with all kinds of excuses. I spoke to several agents and wouldn't get through their illiterate minds, so I gave up for a little while. I called them today about it, he asked me for the phone number and name, so I gave him that information, and he said sorry there is no account under that name and number. I said what do you mean, you guys charged me $38.95 and I want that refunded, and he said sorry there is no account, thank you for calling, and hung up! I'm so pissed at this company, but I guess there's really nothing else that can be done at this point. If anyone has any suggestions, please do share. Thanks.

This company calls me every single day to find out if perhaps since I wasn't a Philipina yesterday I might be one today. They refuse to take me off their list even after I spoke with a manager they continue to call day after day. It always shows up as "Unknown" in my caller id. Does anyone know how to get them to stop harassing me?

please be care full with this company they are the number 1 fraud I don't know where they got my number and keep calling for months so finally I talked to them they want sale me phone cards and they make me interested with all fake bull ### any way they want to register me and they asked for my credit card info and I said for what to just register you after two minutes I was told I charged 40 dollar I was surprised I said I don't want to get charged they told me talk to super manager and tell yes you want the service but we didn't charge you so we give credit limit of 40 dollar so I talk to the manager he said you already got charged and I said no I don't want it then he transfer me again for refund the other guy is saying ok on order to refund tell the other guy you want the service then your money will be transferred it never happened. I don't know why they still excite I don't think they phone company they are like robbers and no body doing any thing I will talk to my attorney about this.

This company is a big time FRAUD company, they have refused to refund my deposit after paying them everything i owed.i have decided to call the law on them.i wonder how such a fraudulent company is still operating in the united states.and anytime i call, they just tell me stories, lies upon lies.their customer service are so rude.

new era telecommunication is diffrent from new era telecom services and other comanies, basicaly the new era telecommunication is us based company which is engaged in selling whereas the other companies naming "new era..." belongs to india also and due to all bull ### of this US based comapny "new era telecommunications" the name of good companies of the same or similer name is getting bad image ..
the other major diffrence is this us based comapny is involved in selling wher as basicaly other Telecom companies have to do nothing with selling but those are involved in providing infrastucture support at telecom towers ...so we should keep the things in mind

It's a good thing i did'nt buy their stupid crap.
I was enticed by the offer at first which is lower rate and
Free 30 minutes call every month. But when the lady on
the phone started to ask me for my credit card and bank acct. infos. for
that so called "35 dollars deposit fee", that's the time
my instinct worked coz i smelled that something isn't right.

some called from newera telcom company and they offer me $6 of credit to call any where in world but first they said that is your choice how you want to pay every month by check, money order or credit card. i said ok i will pay by check or money order. i am ready to start what kind of info. you need he said your name credit card/debit card no. your address and email adress i said you just said that no ned credit card he said for address verification i said no i cannt give my credit card then said he was saying this is America no one can do any thing with out your permission. still i said I send you a check then you start your service then he gave me all BS... any how I agree this if frued company. I knew that, they called me today to offer me 60 minutes for $ 6 to call HAITI and 100 minutes gratis for sign up with them, and $5 for each reference number, I said ok. when they asked me my bank account number to verifier my address. I said why should I give you my bank account number to beleive on me, they said I have to trust them. I said how could I trust you if you don't trust me. now he starts to tell me about the deposit. he tells me I can go to walmart to buy a debit card to try their services. I said "you know what, im not gonna spend a centime to try your services". he tells me they gonna gime my money back. I said sorry im not gonna try your services he said ok ill give you the websites to do it yourself I said I don't I any problem with you personally I juct gonna give the company my information and I hang up in search about the website and find all this complaint.
PS; people be aware of good advances. nobody gonna force you to take good advantage, if its not about "GOD " you see the advance its to good to be true just denny

This same company new era went into my bank account and took out $140 without prior authorization.These guys are frauds.Beware of them.I had to call my bank and dispute the transaction. We need to start doing something about it. They are also going to damage more of our innocent people.

Be careful from New era Company big fraud company .They are very clever .They called you many times for joining unlimited for Abroad calling with joining fee $ 38.95 USD its refundable money, 10$ per month with any hidden charges. Allot of promotional discounts they offer you. some time they offer you only for 5 $ per month as our good customer or promotional only for our family member

New telecommunications charged me while the agreement the customer service was telling me is different from what the supervisor is saying.when I told him that I do not need the service they are refusing to pay back my money. This company is a fraudulent. Do not take any offer from them. They are thieves. Have no office in U$. All writings are fake

So I guess I am not alone here. They called and harrassed me and the next thing I knew they had taken money out of my account. They are located in India, but they call with toll free numbers like they are located in the USA. They are scams, so please beware. It may be too late for me, but certainly not for the next victim. Be on the lookout because they have like 100 different numbers that they call with.

i regrets when i give them my credit card number.after i talk to the agent i search right away this company coz i smell something fishy and then i found out its just a fraud so right away i call my bank to block this company in taking some money on my account.Thanks for the info guys...

I had a New Era Telecom Services few years ago but due to fraud dealing i have cancelled it but since last few months i am getting very abusive calls from New Era Telecom because i did a complaint against them.My advise to each and every person not to use their service.Its a big fraud and cheater company

NuEra Telecom keeps calling my landline number and is very rude when asked not to call my number again. I spoke with the customer rep Sam Malik with customerId NET [protected]. And he persisted saying that he would call me again and that I need to call my Vonage service for blocking him if I don't want to hear from his company. He dared me saying that I can do whatever I want to but he is going to continue calling me.
With this attitude, I really wonder how are they doing business and keeping the customers.
