I have tried to get Novasol to pay attention to some serious complaints I have about a property in Spain which we rented from 6 August to 13 August 2022 but they took an eternity in replying (about 3 months as far as I remember) and then just dismissed the complaints without any evidence at all or quoting any relevant clauses.

The booking was for the Da Vinci Villa at Partida Barranquets Cl-31 1A El Verger 03779 Spain made on about 8 January 2022. The home number on Novasol's website was EB1471 and the reservation number was 7261560.

The complaints were that the property was advertised as "air-conditioned" whereas only two bedrooms were actually air conditioned. My bedroom in the turret was not, neither was the living room nor kitchen nor either bathroom. The weather was hot (we knew it would be which was why we wanted the whole house to be air conditioned). There was nothing in the Novasol advert which stated it was limited in any way. My wife and I slept very badly in the turret and I got a heat rash initially under my arms and then all over my body as a result which took two weeks to clear up after my return to England.

Secondly, the advert stated that the nearest sandy beach was 250 metres away. It was not and nothing like that close. The nearest beach was more like 1.5 to 2 kilometres away and that was pebbly not sandy. We had to use the car every time we wanted to go to the beach which was not what we wanted at all. Our son who was with us wanted to be near the beach for his young children.

Thirdly, the property was described as having two beds for children by which we understood that there were two separate bases and two separate mattresses. In fact it only had one double bed base which was exactly what we had tried to avoid. We discovered this only a little before we arrived at the property and, realising that that could not be changed in the time available, we agreed that the double bed should be made up as two single beds albeit with one base for both (there were single mattresses). It was not, despite agreement to this from the housekeeper, and we arrived to a bed made up as a double bed!

Desired outcome: I would like an apology for the way the property fell short and the way our correspondence has been treated by Novasol and the refund (I have suggested before) of 50% of the rent
