My name is Ken Burnett. On 9/28/19. I signed up on Onlinebookclub.com by mistake. Their website and information are confusing about how to sign up to be a reader and I mistakenly signed up as an author, and now cannot get rid of the account.

There is no way anywhere that I've found to delete my account. I mistakenly signed up for an author account, Their website has no real contact page other than a forum and you have to submit a book to review to access it. I don't have a book for them to review and there's no one to talk to there, no e-mail, no phone, and their Facebook page directs you back to the same contact page in their website. They are a scam, or they would put information there.

I have been trying to delete my account it tells me that in every email sent to me from them there is a delete option I Have to scroll to the very bottom of the email. Had loads of emails from them and not one has this delete button. Last week I was told by Scott that you can't delete accounts because it would make the website unstable. I put a negative feedback for them he sent me mail saying he was reaching out to see if they could resolve my issues and would I message him personally and try to sort things out. Never heard back from him

I successfully deactivated my account from this website. It is not straighforward, but here are the steps:
Under the contact tab, once you click on it, it will say at the bottom if you are an author. Click on the button that says you are neither an author nor a reviewer. It will take you through the steps to "resign" from the review team. Once that happens, go to the contact tab once again and this time it should say that you can delete/deactivate your account. Click on that and it should say that you deactivated successfully.
I've never seen an unsubscribe me from emails button on their emails, but this way, with the account deleted, you won't receive any more emails from them.

I created an account recently but my IP address has been banned due to duplicate account.

I never realised I created two accounts. Kindly delete my account. Below are evidences that I only created one account.

Please check the time intervals.

For onlinebookclub.org you first have to resign from being a reviewer and then through contact page delete your account.

This site is a scammer site! They have tied you permanently to the site. No matter what you do you can not deactivate or delete your account. I want to get the f**k out!

Angry Subscriber, I feel the same way. I need my profile/account permanently deleted. How can one be forced into a permanent subscription? Is that even legal?

The reviewer was inefficient and from a totally different part of the world. He probably never stepped into an urban setting such as The Bronx, NY. It seems as if he’s simply wanted to make money and not truly read my book with accuracy.

I need out!

This was very hard to find but I finally did it. You need to go to the contact tab. You will find it if you scroll down to the end of every page. There will be three options and you choose the third one”neither an author nor…”.
Then there will be some other options and you will tap quit the review team. Resign and you are done!

Than you go again to contact and yyou choose the option I want to delete my acc
